Best Western Winchester Hotel

I had taken video but this breakfast buffet is delicious and very varietal. Even at 8am still very full and warm. We came in late around 7-8pm and were greeted very warmly, very professional. Rooms, very clean, very nice, no complaints, very comfortable.
Don senor mexican restaurant around the corner was very tasty and yummy margaritas (101 flavors), Winchester on a Monday seems to shut down by 9pmish.
Definitely would stay here again!!

Very clean and updated rooms, I was very pleasantly surprised! The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Every employee we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the area was safe!

We travel a LOT, currently we’re on our way back to California from Virginia. Finding decent hotels that are not crazy expensive is difficult. This place is fantastic. The owners take great care of the place, it’s clean, very friendly and the breakfast is outstanding. The best we’ve had on this trip so far.

This motel is one of the most cared for motel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at many as I travel a lot.
The exterior and parking lot is maintained and spotless. The rooms are also well kept and clean.
Breakfast is well done and staff are very attentive.
Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed here because the Google reviews were so high about cleanliness and they were right - spotless. It's always so scary opening the door and not being sure what you're walking into.....this place was excellent and it was a nice relief. I saw some awards on the wall in the lobby for quality control too. They are super strict on not letting people smoke in the rooms - good for them.
We were very pleasantly surprised at the great breakfast that was included with the price too. Very clean, well laid out and a huge selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts and seeds, eggs - everything. Very impressive. The family who runs this works very hard.

Stayed one night while driving back to Virginia from Colorado. Folks at the front desk are friendly. The room was clean and spacious, clean, and had been renovated sometime in the past few years so still felt fresh. The breakfast was good - A very large selection of cold cereals, hot eggs, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy, and very nicely presented - Much better than any breakfast I've had at a hotel of this level in the last couple of years. It's located away from the interstate, so road noise is not an issue. Would definitely stay again.

UPDATED JULY 2023: We returned for our second stay this year and had the same good experience. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast options!

I’m so glad we stayed here! We needed a reasonably priced hotel for the night and this was extremely clean and the room was comfortable. The front desk staff member was polite and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent breakfast with more options than I typically experience at hotels/motels. Thank you!

Overall, good stay for the price we paid.

Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, decent hot breakfast.

Cons: Heater (furnace, I guess) was very loud during the night - something that hotel management should definitely work on - but could be an issue only for room we stayed in.

We sure enjoyed staying here in this well kept and clean best western. Cute and very clean and organized breakfast room. Tim was very nice and helpful and even gave us a coupon for DJ’s steakhouse. We even stayed an extra night!….prior to our visit we had seen 3 nightmares in Covington…so we were relieved to find such a gem of a place and we felt safe!

I recently spent a month at the Winchester Best Western, while my home was undergoing renovations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and clean. I had to work from the room, and the manager made sure I had a room near the router. I had a fast and reliable connection.

These hotel rooms are crazy clean and the breakfast is top notch! I travel for work and usually I'm very skeptical of hotel beds, not at this location! The rooms are literally spotless! The complimentary breakfast has so many options, including FRESH eggs( not freeze dried) gluten free cereal options and non dairy milk! Stop here, whether visiting family in Winchester, or just traveling the south along I64!

We were so pleased with everything. This is an old-fashioned style motel with a stand-alone lobby. So clean and comfortable with parking at your door. Breakfast was very satisfying with so many hot and cold items to choose from (juice selections beyond imagination). Being near the highway and reasonably priced made us happy campers.

As far as one night stays for trips that are “just passing thru”, this place was perfect. It’s an older building but freshly painted and updated. Our room was perfectly quiet, clean and comfortable. The room had a gas furnace which was surprising. Our room stayed toasty all night. We did not stay for breakfast but should we come thru the area again, we would stay here again.

We have stayed in a few different hotels in Winchester and they were definitely not the best, but this one was a wonderful surprise! We usually stay at BW in Lawrenceburg and love it but they were booked up so we chose this one instead. We were a little apprehensive when we first pulled in but that quickly faded! The room was very clean, the parking lot is well lit. The shower head is adjustable to different settings and the massage setting was very nice after a long day on the road. I loved that our shower was in a separate room from the sink so I didn't melt after my shower trying to blow dry my hair. Instead of the standard AC units it has a wall thermostat that made it easy to set our room to a comfortable temperature. And bonus, if you have kids with you, there is an AMAZING park just down the street that they will absolutely love. 10/10 highly recommend!

What a lovely place! The outside is very clean and well kept. The rooms are no different. No smells, clean sheets, towels, bathrooms. It was quite and super close to everything. The owner/ manager is a super friendly guy and went out of his way to help us with a dog crate that wouldn’t open when we got there. The breakfast bar is better than most hotels. Everything from bagels (and all types of jelly & PB), eggs, sausage, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, brownies, you name it. Many juices and coffee creamers, even almond milk creamer. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. 10/10 will be back when in Winchester.

As always the rating is based on price paid and expectations based off that.

The rooms are clean but basic with no lingering smells or stains. If you want food there is a Mexican restaurant across the street but it's a busy road with no nearby crossings (the sidewalk is on the other side of the road) so you'll probably drive or get delivery if you are hungry.

There was no excessive noise overnight (not very close to the interstate).

The person at the front desk was friendly and polite and check-in was quick and painless.
