Got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Hammen yesterday morning and I must say it was the most pleasant experience ever. I was super nervous going in, as this the was my first surgical procedure, But Dr. Hammen was amazing. He put me at complete ease and he explained exactly what he was going to do, as well as potential risk factors (which I GREATLY appreciated) with the surgery. He and his staff were professional and all super sweet and accommodating! Im glad that I chose him for my surgery and cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. If you are ever in need of an extraction, PLEASE go see him! Truly a wonderful surgeon and person in general!

Dr. John Hammen DMD and staff, in Owensboro, KY, are amazing and extremely friendly. He answered all of my questions and put me at complete ease before my oral surgery. The staff, that administered the IV, were very comforting and hands on. I would recommend this dental office to everyone. My 16 year old grandson described Dr. Hammen as "awesome."😊

The receptionists, nurses and Dr Hammen are all very polite and it seems like they genuinely care about patients. The waiting area is beautiful, too. They've taken care of my wisdom teeth extraction, as well as a couple of failed root canals. Dr Hammen does an excellent job of explaining the procedure in layman's terms.

I am well pleased with procedure on my tooth extraction. I was in and out within very short time, Dr Hammen and assistants were very friendly, polite and professional. Highly recommend!

I recently had my wisdom teeth removal surgery with Dr. Hammen and I was very impressed with how easy and smooth my experience went. Everyone involved here made sure I was comfortable and informed me about anything I needed to know and answered any questions of mine. Dr.Hammen was very personable and professional. My brother also came here for his surgery and had a good experience as well. I definitely recommend Dr. Hammen!

Dr Hammen and his staff made me feel totally secure in their care. They acted as true professionals in every aspect of my procedure. Dr Hammen explained every detail as he was working on me. He was very gentle and considerate of me dreading the numbing needle. I would recommend him to any and everyone. My cousin also went to him and feels the same. If ever I need dental surgery again, I would surely give him a call. Also his staff was most accommodating. Thank you ALL !! 😊

The office staff, Dr Hammens assistants and himself were so wonderful and kind with my 12 year old daughter on her tooth extraction. She appreciated the outstanding experience. Dr Hammen went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, calm and no pain. It could not have been any better. Dr Hammens assistant was so caring and thorough going over after care. The night of the procedure the office text to check on her and were available after hours if we were to need anything. I thought that was amazing. We had no issues. The office even called the pharmacy for me to see if they had the medication on hand before I drove over there. Thanks Dr Hammen!! Highly recommend!

Doctor Hammen and his staff were amazing!! My son was in so much pain been to ER & dentist in unbearable pain. They got him in quickly and were all so kind. My son felt immediate relief as Doctor Hammen took care of him. Once he left there he & myself was so thankful for the care he got. We even got a text checking on him with a number to call day or night. I recommend this oral surgeon 100% & his staff!!

I have been to Dr. Hammen three times now. Once for removal of 6 teeth and once for 5 teeth, and third time to have six front teeth removed and dentures put in. Staff is very friendly and caring. Dr Hammen took the time to explain things to me and discuss the procedure. I never felt any pain at all during or after. Both times he actually text in the afternoon to see that everything was okay. Highly recommend.

Dr Hammen and staff are great - fast, efficient, personable & decisive. Dr Hammen is very skilled and was more interested in the best option for me than the most profitable one for him. He projected confidence, and it felt easy to trust him to do the work he suggested.

I got my wisdom teeth out almost a week ago, I was very nervous but Dr. Hammen was great. He answered all my questions I had, and explained to me exactly what he was going to be doing. We also got a paper with all the after care and his staff explained to my mom everything needed for after care. The staff was also very nice making sure I was comfortable and helping me out to the car after the procedure.

Dr. Hammen’s was very thorough and explained exactly what he was going to do. I had one tooth extracted. Him and his staff made sure I was comfortable and told me what was going to happen before each move they made. Very minimal pain afterwards which is different with each individual. Very highly recommend this office and staff.

My experience was great ! I would highly recommend Dr. Hammen to anyone. He is very kind and so are his staff members. They explained everything very well and I had little to no pain and zero swelling. My experience was way better than I thought it would be after getting an extraction.

My son had four wisdom teeth removed from Dr Hammen. He was great as was his staff. They followed up multiple time checking on him after we went home. Highly recommend him

Dr. Hammen does a great job at explaining what will be taking place during your procedure and what to expect afterwards. Although this was my 2nd time having the procedure done I was extremely anxious but he made me feel very comfortable. Very thankful my dentist referred me to his office for my wisdom teeth removal, all of the ladies at the office were extremely nice and welcoming as well.

He explained the procedure to my satisfaction. I had two teeth extracted and I haven’t felt the need for any pain medication. Great job!
