I was just on hold for 2 hours and 34 minutes for technical support, and ended up with Chris. Chris was absolutely wonderful! He fixed my issue, and went one step further to look in to something else for me. I am so thankful. Did I like the wait, no, but it isn't the person answering the phones fault, that they are working so hard and tons of people are calling. He was so cheery and made my day. Thank you, Chris!!! I appreciate you and your hard work. Also, thank you all for processing my fingerprint card so quickly.

Was stranded on the highway and had to wait for my terrible insurance company to send a tow truck to my location.

I waited for hours with an AZDPS employee who ended up calling in the tow truck to help me when my insurance company failed me. I unfortunately couldn't thank this man before leaving. If AZDPS is reading this, please thank him for going above and beyond when he didn't have to, hopefully this info is enough to identify: sent to 202W to exit 66 around 5pm.

Weather you like them or not….they work 24/7, 365, Rain or shine with the goal of keeping motorists in Arizona safe.

If you are going to DPS to request records, get a fingerprint clearance card, background check, or 30-day impound, this is the place to go. Walk up, take a number, and you will be served at the window for what you are requesting. Easy to access, waiting room is nice.

Turning in my fingerprint clearance forms was easy, quick, and staff was extremely kind!

Need it info to release an impounded vehicle the lady in the phone was greatly helpfull and professional.thank you.

As a regular that comes here frequently for business purposes, the processing takes a little long and can eat a good chunk out of your day when you have other places to be. I advise coming here only if you have enough time to be sitting for at least a good 30min- hour

All I can say is background checks should not take 8 + weeks and if you give consent to run a check then you should have every right to know the status of that background check.

A one star is too many. Why did I obtain a report without their help.. I literally had to contact my commercial insurance to ask for a copy of their accident report. Thankfully, They are not incompetent like this DPS office. I requested a report first thing Nov 28th & no invoice on Dec 1st. I sent someone over to obtain a copy and was turned away. I called and gave up hope when I was told no one gets a report on a walk in basis, everything’s done online. So why are they sitting there getting paid my our tax money if they’re not capable of producing a simple document. This is no way to run a business!

After passing a FST and blowing zeros on the breathalyzer one of the officers stole my property and arrested me for no good reason. Be careful citizens these men have guns and they are trying to take ours away. Paid hitman comes to mind.

ADPS fingerprinting has been an absolute nightmare. I have been trying to get in touch with a phone representative for over a month. I send them messages asking for updates on my clearance card, no response. I try calling through dispatch AND through their number, it sends me to an automated message. I had them sign for my mailed fingerprints, and received the email that they signed for them, yet still have not gotten an update and its been 2 weeks. I am supposed to take my law exam but now I fear I will have to wait until October due needing the card to take it but no communication from DPS. They also claim they will send you the fingerprinting card yet they insisted I get them at the police station, ended up having to buy them online because my police department did not have them. Said DPS should provide them. DPS said they would send me a card but like I said it's been over 2 weeks and nothing received in the mail and no response. My reference number is P579361492. Please if someone could update me I would appreciate it.

This review is specifically for the individuals who answer the phones and relay information to dispatch or transfer you to speak to a Duty Officer. Not sure what their job tasks are but I’m pretty sure polite, courteous, knowledgeable are somewhere in there. Instead, I received very poor customer service skills. One young lady was extremely Inattentive and condescending. After telling me in tone that I was wasting her time, she said someone would call me back. That call never came. Calling back next day and I’m met with more of the same. All I wanted to do was make a report after being rear ended. A little compassion wouldn’t hurt and accurate information would truly be a bonus.

Window #10 male. I will get his name soon when I go down there again missing another day of work to figure out to complete my clearance card. He sent me on a wild goose chase. Doesn’t explain things properly, poor customer service, tried to get the fingerprint & affidavt handed back to me at maricopa which is illegal & they cannot do it that way. It has been almost 3 months of a nightmare to get my vip card cause he has me going all over to even places closed he swear he talked to to get me “right in”. He said my supervisor is giving me wrong details & needs to be fired - he was the only one telling me what to do he should be fired! I was originally told by him I don’t need fingerprints now I do and the place is closed go to a diff place he doesn’t accept them than having to go down town. Out 200 dollars and other fees trying to my clearance card for work squared away. Ridiculous.

These worthless people do there job unless it’s a traffic accident!!! You can drive on HOV lane heading west from 32nd St too Goodyear on the I10 without getting pulled over between 3:00 and 6:00 pm 🤦🏽‍♂🤦🏽‍♂
