First Care Urgent Care - Winchester, KY

Ended up having to go for an asthma attack and was seen immediately and treated! I felt so much better after I left! The office worked hard (lots of calling and rushing on their part to make sure I was able to get to the pharmacy in time) to make sure I was able to get supplies to get me through the weekend to keep it from happening again. The staff was very quick and friendly and professional, I will absolutely be going to them again!

I wish I could give more stars. I was not feeling very well and saw NP Danielle. So impressed with her bed side manner, efficiency and assessment. I wish the healthcare field had more people like her!!! Will always go back as long as she is there!!

The nurse practitioner was so nice and so were the other ladies who took care of me. I don’t remember her name but she had a blonde bob haircut. I was in a lot of pain when I got there but I had a really good experience and I’m grateful for how fast they got me in and out.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The PA took her time to explain everything to me. And she made me a follow-up appointment to come so she can see if it had improved

I highly recommend First Care to anyone who needs urgent care from a Staff of Healthcare Professionals who truly care. I had two health issues and needed care right away. They were kind and efficient in caring for my issues. Courteous and professional! I thank especially Lucille and Stacy for the time and care they took to help me!

I was very pleased with my experience with First Care in Winchester. I had an appointment with First Care in Mount Sterling earlier in the day but the clerk said that my Medicare was being kicked back and I would have pay $35 copay. My copay is $0 with Medicare and insurance and either I pay or cancel. I canceled and rescheduled in Winchester. There was an issue with their system but the clerk in Winchester cared enough to work it out. She’s an angel. I was very pleased with my care with the doctor there also. So I’ll drive a little farther to go to the Winchester location from now on.

I'm a vet and love that First Care Urgent Care is partnered with the VA. It is so convenient to be able to go to First Care as needed. The doctors, nurses, and staff are professional and made the whole process quick and easy. I was even able to use a local pharmacy for my prescriptions.

Appointment was easy to schedule online, the wait was minimal and all the staff was very friendly. So nice to have this in Winchester.

The provider and student were the best. Very thorough and personable and communicated with each other and to me about when they would do what and be back in the room. Very good experience. Also called to let me know my pharmacy was closing soon to see if I’d like it called in somewhere that stays open late. Five STARS for sure.

Easy registration and check in. About an hour wait past appointment time to be seen but not unexpected this time of year and so many respiratory illnesses going around. Once I was called I was seen quickly and satisfied with the care I received.
