We called an hour before and made a reservation and were seated immediately when we arrived. The service at this restaurant is the best in the industry. Several people waited on our group of three and everything was quick and hot. Our food was really good and we had a little assortment, between the Cajun sampler, blackened chicken with pasta and the shrimp scampi. Both the pastas came in this buttery sauce that was delicious but nothing like an Alfredo. The 4 shrimp that came with the sampler were as Cajun as it gets! (spicy!).
We all loved it and can't wait to come back. The chicken tenders were for our son, and although he didn't touch them, I can tell you they were phenomenal! The hand written menu is the kids menu. You will absolutely walk out of here with a box of leftovers unless you are a competitive eater. 😉

Everything about my wife and I having a date night went flawless here. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Waited for nothing.
The food was very very tasty. Wasn't too spicy nor bland. My wife had the sampler platter, Everything was enormous portions. If you don't have a huge appetite this meal could be shared with 2 or even 3. The leftover chicken makes awesome stir fry BTW. Pretty authentic taste on Everything. I had the catfish, nothing to complain about here as well. We did find out reservations are a must.

Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The Chilean sea bass is the best I’ve ever eaten. Steaks are amazing as well as pretty much everything on the menu. Best greens around! If you’re lucky enough to be there when they serve their lobster bisque try it. It’s heavenly!!

I truly loved and can not rave enough about our experience at this restaurant. Coming from a girl who was born and raised in New Orleans the food was just like home. The food was so good you could taste the care and soul that went into it. The owner the cook the waitress all are doing this place more than justice. I loved the Creole southern Atmosphere. I felt like there was a little slice of home. I wish we had this restaurant were I now live in TN. Thank you so much the alligator bites were amazing. A++++

Ordered the Cajun Taster and it was amazing!
Hot juicy steak and chicken, good gumbo and tasty cold beer.
Would definitely recommend!

I was blown away by the exceptional experience here. Frog legs, alligator bites, and stuffed jalapenos made for the perfect variety of appetizers.

Their pan seared sea bass is THE BEST in Greater Cincinnati! Light crispy edges and gushingly juicy inside... Wow!! Green beans were delicious and spicy. And the scallops were giant, meaty, and tender.

Service was thorough, knowledgeable, kind and offered excellent recommendations. I 100% recommend and will be back again soon. So good!

I have been wanting to take my wife here for over a year even though she doesn’t care that much for seafood. However she does like taking backroads drives and finding unique places to eat.
I recently saw on FB that they had a break in and damage which caused them to close temporarily. As soon as I heard they had reopened we made plans to go and went on their 2nd night back in business.
Our drive from central Kentucky was 85 miles staying off the interstate and main roads. We arrived just before their 5:00 opening and walked right in. The hostess said they didn’t have any open tables (we didn’t have reservations) but we could sit at the long bar and have full menu access. That was a great choice. Mike was the bartender and did a fantastic job. He was very attentive and informative as well as making some mean Voodoo Rum punch drinks for my wife. I had a couple the Abita amber drafts.

My wife ordered the crab cake appetizer (2 cakes) at market price and I ordered the Cajun sampler that had Cajun seasoned steak, chicken, shrimp and small bowls of gumbo and red beans and rice. The servings were plentiful and it tasted great. I could go back and make a meal of the gumbo/ red beans and rice. My wife said the crab cakes were some of the best she’s had and she should know because that’s the only seafood she likes.
Our meal was just under $100 not including the tip and that included a to-go medium bowl of gumbo!
As we left the restaurant other servers and staff wished us a safe trip. This was a very casual, relaxed and pleasant experience and we will definitely go back. If just the two of us then we will skip reservations and hope Mike will be at the bar to take great care of us and if more two then we will call for reservations.

Amazing food! We were slightly early and the staff was hard at work in the parking lot to water plants and make the last preps. Two young girls struggled with the hose! Our meal started with Crab Cakes - CRAB, not bread crumbs! A cajun sampler included everything! Salmon plate and Catfish platter were perfectly prepared and properly seasoned - not over powering. The decor fit the theme and not overly cheeky. Even though the dinner was filling we did not pass up the dessert - so glad we indulged. We do not live in the area, it is worth the visit on our next trip. CONGRATULATIONS to the staff for a great meal.

Great food. Loved the humor and knowledge of the server. Great vibe and reasonable prices for seafood in Kentucky. Only minor issue, it was about 60 degrees at our table by the window so we had to eat our meal in our winter jackets.

Place is a hidden gem! Me an my family came here for dinner! Husband ordered Cajun shrimp boil and my dad ordered the fried shrimp and for myself I ordered the fried catfish! Everything was wonderful! Their boiled potatoes are amazing and everything has a nice spice to it! We had bread and salsa their ranch is wonderful! We even ordered some key lime pie and it was tart and great! The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff was quick clearing plates and filling glasses and anything we needed got to us right away! Overall a great experience like it usually is.

The oysters are great here.

The steak was cooked perfectly to medium.

We were less than impressed with the crab cakes. After inquiring about why they looked the way they looked the waiter explained the crab came out of a can. We are expecting real crab being charged market price but they did take it off the bill.

We'll be back!

I dined here with a work colleague for dinner. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was welcoming, and it wasn't crowded at all, but I think that was likely due to it being early in the evening.

I ordered the sampler dish and it was very tasty. It offered healthy portions of some of their signature selections. The flavors were on point.

The service was very good, attentive without being over zealous.

I'd definitely go back.

Holy smokes! Top notch food and service. Best food I’ve had in many years. I had a couple apps and the sampler and every item was full of flavor. You can’t go wrong eating here.

Man I just can't say enough good things. Great, lively atmosphere, freaking excellent food, and our server was great to boot. Waited a bit at times for things but they were PACKED, so we understood. Keep up the good work, I'll see you soon Knotty Pine.

From the outside this place looks like a dump. The building is old and the parkingot is in need of repair. Once inside you are treated like royalty. Excellent customer service and the food....oh the food is absolutely amazing. Cajun to perfection. Although a bit pricy, your taste buds will thanks you for the experience.
