Family Thrift Store Margate

The last time I was here this was a Thrift Sense. Located in the Crossroads Plaza off of Coconut Creek Parkway, they mainly sold clothes and it was not very exciting. Now it is a Family Thrift and the change is most welcome. Family Thrift is a non profit that provides families in need in Broward, Miami, and Palm Beach with clothing and furniture. They will pick up your gently used clothing and furniture for their stores here in Margate and in Lauderhill. They also do buy outs so their stores are a mixture of new and used items.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was that they really cleaned this place up. The store is very large and they put in beautiful new flooring. They have a lot of elegant art to hang on your walls, some furniture, house hold items, and clothing new and used. The clothing is set up like a boutique and there is a changing area. Items in the store range from just a few dollars into the hundreds. My favorite find was a stained glass dragonfly lamp. Family Thrift has made this one of the nicest thrift stores in the area. I look forward to being a regular customer.

Awesome staff! Helpful and courteous. Great selection, updated regularly. Store is clean and organized. You can get lots of great deals. Sales on weekends! We’ve been here twice and looking forward to coming again. Proceeds go to a great cause!

This place is amazing. All the thrift shops I have been to this one is exceptional. The staff is friendly and clean environment. I would come here over any other place!!!

Always find great deals here. Bought a pair of wrought iron chairs for $30! So sad when I heard it was closing!

One of the cleanest thrift stores I've been in. Lots of furniture for decent prices. They do have sales on some days on different items. Worth checking out if you're looking to go to a thrift store or if you're in the area. The staff was also very friendly unlike most thrift stores.

I absolutely love this place. Any time on the week days there might be at the most 3 other people in there with you. It's a very large store with many items and they have an amazing selection of shoes. It's very rare to find a thrift store that has that large of a shoe selection. They have many books as well. Not really a place to go if you're looking for furniture though.

Great place my friend took me here and I'm hooked! It's a little hidden place u would've never known they were there. I found lots of hidden treasures at an awesome price. The fitting rooms are spacious, clean. There is a sofa in the back to sit and rest, music while you shop, rest room, plenty of parking and plenty of handicap parking.

The best place If you love thrifting. You will love this place. Ask for Jason and he will guide you. There is clothes, furniture and many artistic pieces. You will love it.

I absolutely love this place. It’s way better than good will and has amazing deals on a daily basis especially if you sign up for their rewards. They also have a huge selection of women’s and men’s clothes and great shoes too. I told all my friends about this place and they love it as well.

Great store for deals, but I hear rumors that they are closing this location soon.

Love this thrift store! Huge, well lit, & well organized. Wide variety of merchandise, clean store, good prices & pleasant people working there. Best place for 2nd hand shoes. Plenty of free parking & wheelchair accessible except the entry door doesn't open automatically.

Love love love this place! The weekend is the best time to go. The whole store except for yellow tags are 50% off! Most other thrift stores only give 1 or 2 colors off and you can never find anything but this one the entire store! The prices are great too! Mui is amazing at customer service. Always so clean and the staff is very attentive to the customers needs! I go to BC down the street and I can’t wait to get out of class so I can go shopping 😂😂😂

My large family and I come here often to update our wardrobes. The selection and organization are unbeatable and then the prices are the icing on the cake. You know how many places have a "50% off" tag color each day? As a seasoned thrifter, I know that you'll usually have to search long and hard for something you like with that tag color. But not at Thrift Sense. It is amazing. Don't miss this one--it is a great store!

I heard from a friend about a thrift store in Margate that has tons of clothes and shoes among other stuff so I stop by with my daughter to check it out. At first from the storefront it looked small but when I entered the place WOW!! The place is huge. Great assortment of clothes and shoes very well organized. This place is the biggest thrift store i've ever seen in south Fl. The prices is unbelievable! They have 2 different color tag sale everyday 50% off of the ridiculously low prices. The staff is friendly and to my surprise the cleanest bathrooms I've seen cleaner than my own LOL! This place is definitely worth checking out!
