Lovely cafe with Southern Hospitality service. The food was delicious and tasted homemade.

What a gorgeous hidden gem of a place! My girlfriends and I went for lunch on our annual Christmas shopping day. It was magical, truly. Wonderful service, atmosphere, and food was spectacular. Be sure to save room and order dessert , it's to die for !!! Gorgeous gift shop too ( tho quite expensive).

This place is a local gem. The food is simple, but absolutely delicious! You will feel like you sat down in your granny's kitchen, everything is homey and curated with love, a must for lunch in Brooksville!

**Update** Great experience at Mallie Kylas Cafe, we were greeted as soon as we got inside, we were taken to the dining area and what a cozy, home looking sight, clean, beautiful, the staff was awesome, the food was on point, we had soups and had food and dessert to go, the corn chowder soup was amazing, has a little heat, great taste. I had the stuffed avocado with tuna salad and pasta salad and I got to say I'm hooked, such great flavor, smooth, clean, the tuna salad was truly on point, one of the best I've ever had same goes for the pasta salad, such balanced flavors and all because it tastes homemade and fresh, also we got the Carolina Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious, it comes on raisin bread and believe me it sounds different but it works and finally for dessert we had banana cream pie, they put actual slices of banana in the pie, the cream is delicious, smooth, silky and creamy. Definitely we will come back when we are in the area, I can't wait to have more of that stuffed avocado. We went there again to dine in this time and I am happy to report that it is amazing service paired with amazing food that feels like came straight from your grandma's kitchen. We had the ham and cheese quiche and the amazing stuffed avocado with tuna salad which in my opinion is one of the best dishes I've had. We also indulged with some of the desserts, the cookies were on point, rich but not crazy sweet, right on the money; the hummingbird cake is straight up the best I've had so far, made with banana cake with that awesome delicious filling and the apple crumble pie was to die for, warm and delicious, pairs well with ice cream.

This place is 5 stars for sure. The food is great, desserts are too die for and the gift shop is amazing. Any visit to Brooksville needs to include Mallie Kyla’s Cafe.

If you are looking for a family own restaurant this is your place. The food was so delicious and the staff is so attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back again.

What an amazing world Cafe with a detailed menu. Had the collard green soup and a half a gobbler. Only open for lunch..Monday thur Saturday.. A most definite do again..everything was 5 star..

The seafood bake, which is only offered on Friday’s, is delicious!!! Waitstaff are usually soooooo busy but still polite and attentive.

Had a group lunch event at this location. The food was fresh and delicious. There was so much to choose from but not an overwhelming menu. They were very baby friendly. I will be trying them out again in the future!

If you love small town restaurants with awesome, wholesome food, you will love Mallie Kylas. I know I do. Their Swiss Potato Soup (actually all their soups) feel like they come out of your grandma’s kitchen.
Don’t even get me started on their desserts! The BEST Hummingbird cake. Even better than the one you can get from Wrights down in Tampa. They display whatever the fresh daily dessert is on a shelf above the dining area. You can’t help but look at it!
Mallie Kylas is located inside an old home right on Highway 50 as you crest the hill to enter Brooksville. The cafe is decorated with memorabilia, lovely dishes...all sorts of interesting things to see. The daily specials are posted outside and inside everywhere so you know just what is on offer. I’ve never had anything I don’t like.
If you find you need to wait for a table, you can peruse the lovely items on display by Westovers, the florist sharing the property.
You won’t regret stopping g here for lunch.

The service is great and the food consistently fantastic in the 20 years plus coming here. Best Reuben in the county!! Soups & Desserts outstanding. A must try.

Where else can you enjoy fresh baked hummingbird cake and peach tea served on a vintage Florida tablecloth? Delicious food. Friendly service. Fun shopping.

I went in for a flower arrangement and was very pleased with what i found. This place is wonderful with plenty of gift or decorative ideas for everyone's home. I have not eaten there yet but it smells gooood when you walk in this is definitely worth stopping by and again thank u Debbie for your help

This quaint place is great!! Food is so good, and a choice of daily specials. Friendly owner, attentive staff,and food arrives quickly and fresh. The desserts....wow! All desserts homemade by owner. Nice shops to browse as well.

The food specials are so good. The salads are fresh. The service is perfect. The blue berry and strawberry cakes are truly amazing. A cute little place lots of knick knacks and things to look at and buy. Definitely coming back

Mallie Kylas is absolutely fabulous. Went today, January 20, 2022, with a few friends, 9 of just us girls. Everything was exceptional. We were greeted and seated by the wonderful team upon our arrival. Orders were placed, we had a wide variety of the most awesome delicious, fresh soups, salads, sandwiches and daily specials. Oh yes we had dessert! At Mallies, never ever skip their incredible dessert, made fresh daily. Took pity and brought food and dessert home for the hubby. The atmosphere is very comfortable, homey and cute. Service is Outstanding. Actually, going to Mallie Kylas is absolutely just like coming home. This is an incredible gem and a must visit. They also have a great gift shop with a wide variety of different products available, unique items that you won't find elsewhere.

Mallie Kyle's Cafe is an excellent dining experience. The food is All homemade and Delicious. Always save room for dessert, oh my goodness, no matter what you order its mouth watering Awesome! They have fabulous daily specials. I love they're Turkey, Cucumber, Cranberry Crossett, its amazing, actually melts in your mouth! After an awesome dining experience, walk through the Gift shop for many special unique gifts. Remember that you deserve a wonderful gift for yourself too. Y'all will love this delightful Cafe and Gift shop. If you're in the Brooksville area, you Must stop at Mallie Kayas, as a local I take all visitors here, its fantastic! The staff and service is always cheerful and welcoming, service is out of this world.
