We just finished the first year at WBA. We are delighted with the experience we had. We appreciate the monthly Zooms with the Principal and his team. They were informative and encouraged us to be involved.

The technology being used made it easy to track our child's progress. It made it effortless to communicate with our son’s teacher.

Our son’s teacher was understanding and patient with him, even when he got difficult.

We appreciated the accommodations for working parents by offering services to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our child.

We enjoyed all the events the school organized. We value the community the school has built.

We are looking forward to another great year!

I'm baffled at the reviews because this school is amazing. You can always tell the ones who have a personal vendetta against the school. LOL. It's quite sad. Tour the school and meet the Principal for yourself. This is the only place where my child feels safe and apart of a family. The events that this school has are like nothing I've ever experienced. They are genuine and authentic, you can tell they really care. No school is perfect, but this school is perfect for my family.

My kids love this school. Mr. Hugie is a sweet and caring principal. He is a great listener and hard working with a smile. The teaches want my kids to learn. Ms. Bent, Ms. Miranda and Ms. Beswick make my kids enthusiastic about learning. They are caring and encouraging.

The school hours are convenient and the car line is easy- always moving well.

This school also offers many after school clubs like fitness and drama among others.

Front office staff is also friendly. Everyone here is just like family. They give you a warm smile no mater how hard their day is..

I highly recommend this school. Because here your opinion matters and your kids matter to all of them. They all put their heart in all they do. The rest is up to us parents to support our kids so they can achieve success.

My boys recently started at this school after a fellow WBA parent and teacher told me about it. I enrolled and after a month, 2 spots opened up for my boys. I attended a Zoom meeting to meet the Principal (they have one periodically), and I was just SO IMPRESSED with the professionalism and how organized this meeting was. Besides it being so very informative, it was just a meeting filled with great energy and all around good vibe. I am SO happy that I chose this school. From the registrar, Ms. Bosque, to everyone at the front office, including Ms. Alabastro, who helped me tour the school (beautiful campus), they are all so helpful and just SO NICE. Extremely communicative and responsive from the beginning. Makes this experience of transferring my kiddos mid-year an absolute walk in the park. Ms. Alvarado, 1st grade teacher, has been an absolute pleasure so far and my 1st grader RAVES about her. Even though my kids and I are new to the WBA community, I can tell how much Mr. Hugue and his staff cares about the students and the parents/guardians. There are so many events in December that I have had to calendar them all! They really give back to the school, the students and the community and I am honored to be a part of this school. I encourage for you to apply for your kids and get involved. You won't regret it!

My kids and I love this school. The staff, the building, everything they offer academically and extracurricular. They’re true to their class sizes. I’ve had no problem with communication from teachers or staff. Just a great school.

My kids love love this school. Every day they come home saying I had a perfect day. The front office staff is amazing always smiling and in good spirits. They always engage in conversation with the parents. They know the kids names and it’s a wonderful feeling when your kids have no complaints from school. Great job west broward academy

I encourage families to join West Broward Academy for a rigorous and engaging education for your children. The school hosts family activities (when there isn’t a pandemic) and welcomes families to the school and to be involved in their child’s education. The school holds parent nights, school book fairs, special events, and has great teachers! Ignore negative reviews, call or visit the school and make an informed decision.

This is our 4th year with WBA. We have been with WBA since the beginning. They have made significant improvements. They truly care about their students. They are welcoming to the families and always organize events and activities for the kids both during and after school. Front desk staff is also amazing. Ms. Dobbins treats all the students like family. My daughters both have amazing teachers this year. The Principal and Assistant Principal are very involved with the students as well as school events.

New principal with great ideas, involved with kids and parents! PTSO president and members doing amazing things for the children and teachers. My daughter loves her school, her teacher, and so do we! I highly recommend this school The teachers are fantastic! She already enrolled for next year.

West Broward Academy was the best choice for my kids. The school hours are convenient and the front office staff always greets with a warm smile. I love the fast car line, too. It works beautifully! Thank you to all of you that make sure my kids go in and out of my car with safety.

Additionally, Principals Mr. Pickens and Mr. Huggie always respond promptly to any concern or questions. They are friendly and professional. They care about their students academic progress and provide fun learning school activities. Furthermore, they keep the parents engaged in the child's learning process.

My sons have enjoyed their teachers which are amazing caring superstars like Ms. Lubbers, Ms. Logan, Ms. Miranda, Ms. Davila, Ms. R, Ms. Pierre, and Ms. Rudin. Especially, my 5 year old's kindergarten teacher, Ms. Henry. My son is always smiling when he talks about his school day. She is caring and makes the class lessons fun. She provides a warm and positive learning environment. Thank you all for an amazing job u all do.

My name is Taylor and I really like this school. I am currently a fourth grader and thanks to Ms. Gayle and Mr. Witherspoon i am ready for the FSA’s and 5th grade. The staff is amazing and they are always saying hi and smiling at you. I definitely recommend your daughter/son going to this school. Also huge thanks to Mr. Pickens and Mr. Hugue.

My grandson attends and loves his school. He has had great teachers for his 3 years of attending and enjoys all of the activities offered.

Do your own research parents, please do not believe the hype... I do my research, pop up, n educate my self to what its happening at this wonderful, amazing, awesome, by far one of the best of the best school out here in Broward County. FYI... Ms. Baggs, Mr. Huggie and your amazing team you all have chosen...OMG 🙏 GOD bless you all, and I am so looking forward for the next 8-9 years to be part of your family...thank u, thank u, thank u so much for all you all do for our babies, n taking GREAT, strict, safety measure care n providing great educators including after care crew... I’m Swindyahna and I use to go to that school but I only lasted a year :( in that school but it was so fun I even met my best friend there but sadly lost her my favorite teacher use to work there but one of the old students told me she doesn’t work there anymore I am now in the fifth grade doing good the students and staff are so cool but some fights use to happen but I had such a fun time there but here are some problems with the school me and my ex best friends got bullied by the sixth graders and it was so bad that I had a mental break down and the school did nothing about it I also had a heat stroke and they didn’t do anything about it ether I will soon be going to the sixth grade but will not me but it’s was ok school is okay

I am a student here and when i first got here i told my self i am not gonna like this school ever i dont like it i dont wanna make friends here im not gonna make fav teachers here but after going there for like a month i actually started to love it it was hard not to like it because this school comforts kids this school makes you feel at home ❤,Giselle Portillo A.

This school is the worst the teachers don’t care about their students and in makerspace the table I was in wasn’t talking and the teacher thought we were talking 😐
