Holiday Inn Cincinnati-Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

The front desk staff are phenomenal. We came in with an unplanned stop with an ill member of our party and Jennifer specifically was helpful and informative and accommodating. Our rooms were cleaned excellently with an attention to detail (I inquired and it was Alejandra who made sure of that.) The breakfast was an additional charge which one would expect at a traditional Holiday Inn vs others in the IHG family. We did not partake of the evening meal but it did smell nice in the lobby.
There are no microwaves in the rooms but there is one for use on each floor. There are mini fridges in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious.
There was everything we needed nearby as well. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great experience here. We checked in very late and Phyllis was there to help us. Super friendly and helpful. We used this as our free anniversary stay with our IHG credit - I will say, I’m not sure it’s worth the $300 price tag I saw for some nights but if you can get a deal, it’s a great place to stay.

Nice and affordable hotel in Cincinnati. The staff were very friendly on arrival and my room was clean and spacious. The property feels a bit outdated, but the bathroom was impressive and newly renovated. I would recommend staying here!

Stayed here over the weekend. Great price for the area, everything was clean. Room service was great. Will definitely come back again!

I stayed here for four nights this past weekend for my little sister’s 21st bday. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a suite due to the fact that there were no king beds available. This was very nice of them! I cannot remember the name of the front desk employee but she was working at around 930pm on Wednesday 9/27. The room was very nice and clean. Nothing too fancy or modern. There was a lot of room and the bed was very comfy! The bathroom was updated, nothing fancy but clean. The WiFi & AC worked well. We had a nice stay overall.

The most amazing human running the front desk at night, Anthony! The hotel appeared clean and in a convenient location to the varying highways. Many places to eat nearby as well.

Anthony greeted me, as an exhausted traveler around 130 am unfortunately they didn't have any rooms left. I was weary because I had been looking for a room for about and 1.5 hours at this point. As a compassionate human, Anthony volunteered to call some of the nearby IHG hotels to no avail. Then he suggested maybe if I could drive 20 minutes outside the city, there is one that will have rooms. He called them to make sure. On my way I went. Thank you Anthony, you are a very compassionate person and you make the world a much better place.
I am not sure why when I used Google, I could not see how close hotels were or if they had any vacancies but I had already stopped at multiple places and was rejected. The world definitely needs more Anthony's, he is going places.

The lady at front desk was very nice. We came in late and she offered us a later checkout. Room was ok. There was no coffee offered after 10am, which we found to be unusual, since any other hotel we visited had coffee 24/7.

I got a disability room in the bathroom was superior. The shower was superior in particular, and the water pressure was amazing. A room had a view of the swimming pool and a nearby, tall hotel, and a beautiful Cincinnati sky.
The staff was helpful and friendly. I loved the room we rented, 115. The pool was great also.

I chose the Holiday Inn Cincinnati Riverfront because it looked like it was conveniently located in Kentucky right across the river from Cincinnati and all the major attractions. When I first exited the freeway, I stopped at the other Holiday Inn (that apparently used to be a Best Western) probably located .2 mile from the Holiday Inn Cincinnati- Riverfront. I quickly realized my error and was redirected to the correct Holiday Inn. At the correct hotel, I found out that parking was $7 a day per vehicle. The room was reasonably priced and the rooms were nicely appointed and clean. Overall, the hotel was clean. The beds were so comfortable. I can’t emphasize this enough. Breakfast was good and was included in the overall price. Upon check-in, I met the nicest employee - I believe her name is Jennifer and she made me feel so welcomed. The outdoor pool is nice as well as there is a very nice gym located on the property. You need to use your key card to access the gym and the pool which makes me feel there must be outside guests that try to access the amenities at the hotel property. Walking distance to the bridge seems a bit far from this property, but it is a doable walk. You can take the bus for a $1 and quickly navigate the area. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel again and will probably visit here again in the future. Special shout to Jennifer especially at the front desk, Marjory was also so very kind and lastly, but not really last is David Allen, Executive Chef deserves a special accolade. David was personable, professional and thoughtful. He provided us with recommendations on history events to see in the city while waiting on an entire room of guests. This was one of the best places I’ve stayed in a very long time. Thank you! Bravo to your staff and team!

One last note: I also had the chance to meet Makayla (spelling) chef at the restaurant who knew the next day that I drank cranberry juice - she was so observant, helpful and conscientious. I also met Tasha at the front desk who helped assist me with coffee in the early morning hours. She stopped what she was doing to happily make me a fresh cup of coffee. The whole front of house team fully embraces the key core values of Holiday Inn and the whole staff deserves a huge raise. People like this group of people are the reason I will return to stay at Holiday Inns.

Me and My girlfriend were locked out of our house and needed a place to stay for the night and had to book a room at 4am. The overnight manager Tasha was absolutely fantastic. She was a beacon of hope for us and went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute booking. Absolutely fantastic service. The hotel itself wasn't anything to write home about and was very average but Tasha's attitude and customer service made our stay worth it!

Out of all the hotels I've stayed in for work, this Holiday Inn has been one of the best.

The staff is very professional and friendly. I believe I spoke to all levels of staff except maintenance and they all were eager to help and with a smile. It was very busy during my stay and the entire staff made sure everyone was in good hands. I also believe I spoke with one of the managers during my visit and you can see in his personality that he is passionate about running his business.

The continental breakfast is the best out of all hotels I have stayed. They had a selection of fresh fruit, eggs from a chicken, high quality breakfast meats and it was all fresh.

The hotel rooms looked great. Very neat and tidy. Fresh and so clean clean.

I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back at some point.

Staff was very courteous, helpful, kind, and professional. Our stay of 3 nights was VERY, VERY comfortable. We had a King size bed which was SUPER COMFORTABLE. Everything was kept nice and clean. I can't really complain! Thank you Holiday Inn for making our first family vacation a safe and relaxing stay!

Location was perfect. Rooms,Lobby and pool was clean. Breakfast was AWESOME! But the highlight of this stay was this man (see photo) He was very short staffed for a couple of days. He was by himself, he was taking orders getting drinks, cleaning tables, bringing food to tables! THIS GUY WAS A BEAST AND HE DID IT WITH A SMILE! At one point more employees jumped in to help him out, which he was thankful. Holiday Inn Cincinnati-Riverfront in Covington, you have a unique associate with this man and a special staff. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE of these employees you dont find this kind of loyalty or work ethic everyday! We really enjoyed our 3 night stay and will be back when the time comes! Thanks again!

My stay here has been very pleasant. The staff is very courteous at every interaction. When entering you immediately notice the stylish yet comfortable lobby and restaurant area. The in house restaurant is called Burgers and Crafts and features moderately priced food. Offering of course burgers and craft beers the menu also includes fries, shakes, salads, appetizers, and desserts. My hotel room was spacious and very clean. There were the usual toiletries in the bathroom and a large walk-in shower. The room also had a mini refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, coffee pods, an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. The bed was super comfortable with clean, soft linens.

Very nice clean rooms. Very quiet and the beds are very comfortable. They did make a mistake on my bill but they did correct it in a reasonable time period. I will be staying there again, and I would recommend this hotel.

Because of the staff and cleanliness of our room. COVID certainly has changed hotel stays but the wonderful, caring staff made our 4 day stay seamless. Our breakfasts were hot with daily changes and the Chef had a fantastic sense of hospitality. Keep up the good work during these trying times💕

Very professional hotel with friendly staff and surprisingly well behaved guests. Jade at the front desk was very helpful. I loved the little details like the keurig machine in our room, the blackout curtains, and the fancily folded towel. The fitness room is clean with volume control for the radio, AC control, and complementary towels and headphones! The pool is outdoors and wasn't crowded. All in all I had a lovely stay here. P.S. Make sure you try the restaurant food as well!

Tasha at the front desk was an absolute delight!! My boyfriend and I had a rough night out and she was very gracious, understanding, personable, and able to book our room quickly and efficiently. You rock, Tasha!!

This is my 4 week back at this hotel. I can’t say good enough things about the staff here. First thing as I walk out of my room I am greeted by the house keeper. In small talk she decided to go ahead and clean my room while I went to breakfast. At breakfast greeted with another happy face Angle. She was so polite and welcoming. As I walk back up to my room Quinn says hello and tells me how beautiful I look. Which of course was very flattering. I walk back into my room and it smells so clean, bed is made nicely! Thanks you staff for making my experience so pleasant!

I stayed at this location this past weekend for a concert at Riverbend. Check in was awesome, the desk clerk was so incredibly friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were able to hit the outdoor pool area for a bit to pre-game before the concert and met some really great people. I love staying in Covington when visiting Cincy and this is by far the most fun hotel in town in the summer.
