Mayor's Cafe Miami Lakes

Mayors Cafe was a last minute decision after our trip to the area for the dolphins game. Not only was the food so, so good the service was awesome. Erica was our server and by the looks of it she was taking care of the majority of the full restaurant. Super busy and still displayed a friendly demeanor. Highly recommend this place!

Super cozy and modern cafe in the heart of Miami Lakes! It was our first visit and the breakfast was phenomenal. We’ll be back to try their lunch for sure!

Our server Jade made us our delicious Cappuccinos, was very welcoming and treated us like VIPs! Overall, the food was fresh, the atmosphere was great and the service top notch.

Mayor’s Cafe was so good! The interior is very cute and warm. The service was excellent. Our waitress was at our table immediately after we sat down and she was very friendly and prompt with her service. I had an omelette with bacon and cheese. They did not skimp on the fillings! It was delicious. Highly recommend!

AWESOME BREAKFAST! FRESH! HOT! PRICED RIGHT! The food was amazing, large portions. We could have split a meal and still had leftovers. The french toast was the best. This was absolutely the best part of my week in Miami on my workcation-birthday trip. The owners Manny Cid(the actual Mayor of Miami Lakes) and retired baseball pitcher Danny Delgado made the stop worthwhile with their hospitality. I will be back, definitely on a first Tuesday of the month.

This was the best breakfast I’ve had in a looooong time! I had the bacon egg bagel sandwich with an order of Nutella French toast and I almost passed out it was so good. 🤤 The service was prompt and the waitress was so sweet and helpful. I’m only upset that I hadn’t gone to mayors cafe sooner! Go there tomorrow morning. Seriously.

Located just off The Palmetto in Miami Lakes, this cafe serves the goods! Serving breakfast all day, I decided to try out the seasonal Pumpkin Pancakes. All I gotta say is, it was worth the hype and I'll definitely be back before they're gone. I also tried out the Salmon Cheese Spread on a poppy seed bagel, which wasn't too bad either, but to be honest, I was there for the pancakes ;) the customer service was VERY good and patient as well. I didn't realize they closed at a certain time, and I was one of those customers that came in just before closing time. Hats for the zen like patience. All in all, I look forward to returning for their breakfast foods and especially their (you guessed it) pancakes!

In the area for work and found this gem while looking for a breakfast place. Seems to be a locals favorite. The service was awesome and the French toast was amazing. I wish this was a local place for me!

This was the best cafe I’ve ever been to in my 45 years of life. The tall blonde boy was very kind and nice and helpful. Also the server named grechum was extremely nice 10/10 would recommend to anybody.

I'm in love with Mayor's Cafe in Miami Lakes! Everything from this place is simply amazing: the layout, the family pics on the wall, the service, and especially the food. The last time I was there I went to try The Cid and I think I found my go-to item because it was beyond delicious! Photos don't do it justice. My husband had the angus burger and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. And the portions are super generous. There's no way you will leave this place hungry. I also think it's pretty cool you have the mayor of the town walking around serving and talking to customers. It's funny to see the actual mayor in Mayor's Cafe - Love it!
Can't wait to go back and try the Nutella french toast everyone keeps talking about.

Stopped into Mayor’s Cafe to grab breakfast. This place has great service and food. Everyone working there is friendly. Food came out fast and delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Mayor’s cafe is one of the best breakfast spots in Miami Lakes. There’s is a variety of delicious made to order food options. After several visits and trying different menu items I have to say that the steak Benedict is definitely the best item I’ve had. The runner up (not pictured) is the breakfast skillet. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

The wait is a little long, but definitely worth it. Great spot for tasty breakfast/lunch, with big portions. I had the turkey club sandwich and couldn't finish the whole thing. Trying the breakfast next time.

Excellent costumer service. Owner himself was in the kitchen watching orders come out on time. Highly recommended!

Our first visit and it didn't disappoint!! Great little place! I ordered the eggs Benedict and hubby ordered the burrito and both delicious. Visited Mayor’s Cafe today for the first time. The food was delicious, the service was great and the cafe con leche and cafecito were out of this world. I’m a Northeast girl and Cuban coffee is a must when I’m in Miami.

I had the spinach & feta omelet and shared the Nutella French Toast. OMG!

You also get healthy portion sizes. Totally a value for your money establishment. I’ll be back!

Great place, kinda tight space, but you won't care once you taste the food. We had pancakes and they were awesome!
Very clean, the bus people actually cleaned the tables everywhere, not just the dirty part.
The wait staff is very chatty and friendly, the act like they have know you forever.
It was really nice to be so welcomed when we are so far from home. (Pensacola is home)
