This place is a hidden gem, don’t let its location deter you. Atmosphere was relaxing, the place was very clean. Good selection of beers, I was intrigued by the South African one (see picture). Service was great. Daily lunch specials are $7.

I was looking for an elegant restaurant in Brooksville/Spring Hill area with great food and I am so glad I found this place! It’s definitely one of my new favorites.

We ordered the rib-eye stake with mushroom and potatoes au gratin and the Tuscan lobster pasta. 🤤 Let me tell you, it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The food arrives HOT and full of flavor. The chef came by to check to make sure we were enjoying every bite! That was really so sweet.

It is so nice to have a place like this in the area that is not a chain restaurant. Definitely recommend everyone to try it out. The ambiance is so elegant and the staff is friendly! Shoutout to the manager and old friend of mine Chanel Christiana for giving us top quality experience.

Enjoyed a really nice birthday dinner for two, I am no photographer but wanted to share a picture of the Crab Lobster & Shrimp that was truly amazing. Chanel our waitress was wonderful. FYI no liquor license, beer & wine only.

This place is great. I looked it up and liked what I saw, so I asked a couple of locals who said that it was good food. So, I ordered takeout... Grilled Bourbon Chicken with rice, broccoli, and a small side salad. Everything was cooked perfectly. The girl who took my order got it in quickly and it was ready when I arrived about 20 minutes later. Glad I saw it!

I had salmon, broccoli, and the house salad. It was fresh and delicious! Service was attentive without being intrusive. Very comfortable atmosphere, and we all like the artwork on the walls.

Our server, Chanel, was amazing. Her recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious. We had the steak, burger, and Monterey Jack Chicken. Everything was so good! We will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Very amazing hidden gem of a place! The food is fantastic! Service as well. I love the atmosphere at this restaurant. It's not like walking into a typical restaurant with lots of different chatter and conversation flooding the whole area. You can hear yourself think and actually enjoy the relaxing music they have. My husband and I went for his birthday. We both enjoyed the food! The crab cake and lobster linguine was AMAZING! Definitely recommend making a reservation and checking the place out if you want a romantic or peace place to get some fantastic food.

Ate dinner here for my fiancé’s and I 2 year 1 month anniversary. Absolutely amazing food ! Was worried at first because when we showed up but do not judge a book by its cover. The service was amazing and the food was the best I’ve had in ages ! Our waitress (can’t remember her name) was so nice and took a photo of us ! Definitely recommend here. And the prices are good too ! Will be coming again.

I thought the food was really good. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was cooked perfectly . The bread sticks were very soft and coated with garlic butter, they were so yummy. Also got the grilled chicken with the coconut rice, and the rice was very good and you could actually taste the coconut, it had a lot of flavor. The sangria was delicious as well. The food takes a little time to come out because it is definitely all cook to order, but it’s worth the wait. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back. Also , from looking at the menu , it looked like they had some good lunch specials on the days they’re open for lunch.

We found this hidden gem, to us, by chance! Be prepared for a fine dining experience and gourmet food! Our server was amazing, she explained the menu, the wines, and expected wait as our main course was prepared! We started with appetizers of coconut shrimp and Cuban egg rolls! Both are large portions for two and truly amazing! I wish I would have taken a picture of them! Then we had the clam chowder and Cesar salads. The chowder will satisfy anyone from the northeast! Thick base, with lots of clams and excellent flavor! The salads were great with large peices of thinly sliced cheese and plenty of dressing! For the main course we had Mahi Mahi and the Bourguignon Pork. We were both beyond satisfied with the large portions and amazing flavor! The pork was cooked to perfection and the fish was seasoned perfectly! The owner/chef (Eric) personally came out to check on us during the meal! If you want fine dining at a reasonable price, try this place! Reservations are highly recommended, but we were seated immediately as walk-ins! We were dressed very casual!

To sum up in a single word, that word would have to be...PHENOMENAL!! From start to finish, Chop Block is truly a fantastic restaurant. Our server Heath, was wonderful, and the food amazing. French Onion is one of the BEST I've ever had and the Lobster Tails were cooked perfectly. DEFINITELY recommend.

A group of 8 of us visited this afternoon. Awesome food and service! I had the twin Maine lobsters and they were fantastic! Prepared perfectly! So tender you could cut them with your fork! The sweet potato fries were great as well! We will be coming back soon!

Was it worth $70+ for 2 people? In my opinion, yes! Absolutely! My fiancé and had a great time here at this restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. The menu is small, as it should be. They offer a variety of meats and have vegan and vegetarian options as well. The food is absolutely fresh! I had a 10oz NY steak and that steak was without a doubt, the best steak I have ever had! My fiancé got the shrimp Alfredo and that pasta dish was excellent! Far better than any Italian joint near Brooksville or Spring Hill.
I believe this place was created and is owned by high standard chef or chefs. The quality of atmosphere and food is what we should be receiving when going out for a meal.
Our waiter was great and received a solid tip.
Though our meals were out shortly after ordering, It’s important to acknowledge that these are fresh, made to order meals, because of that it’s typically going to take time to cook such meals.
I am definitely looking forward to coming back.

I was graciously treated, by very dear friends, at a moments notice. I was never here. Delicious! Pictured are 2 ribeyes and 1 NY strip. Each were served as ordered- Flavor wonderful and melt in your mouth delightfulness! Excellent asparagus, too! No belly room for dessert 😁. Kirt, our server, was awesome. He knew it was my 1st time and went over the key points of what I needed to know, such as the meats are fresh, cut and prepared to the individuals order. Everything is Fresh. Thank you, Chop Block for a wonderful experience and Thank you to my dear friends. 🌹🌹I will be visiting again!

Well Sis was starving, so out we went. This time to the Chop Block Grill in Brooksville, A hidden gem.
We started off with the Cuban egg rolls, basically a Cuban sandwich in a egg roll wrapper with a Dijon mustard & Mayonese dipping sauce. Oh they were so good, great Cuban flavor.
Next were the salads and garlic bread sticks which were nicely made. The Mandarin salad dressing was quite tasty.
The mains were Honey Merlot Pork with Au Gratin potatoes for me. Patty had Beef au poivre with a baked potato.
The dinners were excellent, the meats were nicely cooked and tender, with flavorful sauces.
Service was great and with a smile, with several stopping by to check on us.
They prepare from fresh, so it takes a little longer but it's worth it. Prices for Dinner $$-$$$, Lunch prices are quite reasonable though! Reservations are recommended for Friday and Saturday nights, they seem to get booked up pretty fast.

Absolutely amazing food! Waitress was great and very attentive. Chef came out to check on us. Cuban egg rolls were delicious. The salmon crab roulede was out of this world! My favorite seafood entrée by far! We loved it so much we went back the next week. My husband’s steak was perfectly cooked. Love this place!

Absolutely delicious! We went on a Friday, and were lucky that we got there early enough to get a table. We were advised that they were reservation preferred. I got the fresh Mahi with pina colada rice and asparagus. It was delicious! My boyfriend got the Cajun chicken alfredo which was also a great choice. We took the waitresses recommendation in finishing it off with a shared lemoncello cake which was light and refreshing. Definitely look forward to our next meal here!

We had a group of 5 of us for an early dinner, and a mix of surf or turf was ordered. I had the prime sirloin I believe it was called, with garlic butter, sautéed crimini mushrooms, and their slightly sweet seasoned sweet potato fries...Wow! It was delish! They cut every steak off the larger piece to order, and all food is prepared fresh, so we were informed of a slightly longer wait time may be possible, but I didn't think it was any longer than usual. I ordered my steak rare-ish, and it was perfect. Juicy, tender, and well seasoned. The rest of my group had a mix of pork chops, scampi, and another fish dish and everybody else raved over their plates! I was the only drinker, and I had 2 glasses of very good Pino Noir that went very well with my steak.
Our lovely waitress was on top of everything and very attentive. We were in to eat early, but additional staff were present for the evening rush.
Great atmosphere, comfortable inside with lots of great art to look at and enjoy. "Urban casual dining", right on the money. Will be back!

Given it's location I didn't expect it to be as nice and I felt a bit underdressed. My waiter Heath was friendly, professional and attentive. I had time to kill before a meeting so was dining alone, the interior is very nice comparative to the exterior. I ordered the French onion soup and backyard burger, I would have preferred my burger more pink in the middle but it was juicy and tasteful. The rosemary fries were not overly salted but saltier than I care for, they are thin sliced and were served fresh. I was too full to try dessert.
