I am shocked that this place isn't packed on Sunday afternoon when church has let out. They are open from 7 a.m. till 2 p.m. and have a great breakfast and lunch menu at reasonable prices. I go just about every Sunday after mass and get there around noon for a wonderful late breakfast. The half order biscuits and Cajun gravy w/ two eggs is one of my favorites but I like others just as well. Stop in. I promise you won't be disappointed.😎

This place was excellent! My mother, brother and I came here after dropping the family dog off at the vet, and we had seen pictures and reviews on maps and it looked amazing, and boy did not disappoint! The beignet balls were incredible, The omelette was sensational and the service was exemplary! If you're ever in town check this place out!!!

Great food, friendly services and awesome location in Tavares. Indoor and outdoor seating available as well as live entertainment on select nights. Whether looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner, give them a try!

This place is awesome! The hubby and I passed by about a week ago and couldn't help but salivate over the smell of potatoes coming from the restaurant. We agreed to give it a try on our next day off. We ordered the Bayou Smasher and the French Toast Sandwich - both of which were INCREDIBLE!! Our collective favorite was the Bayou Smasher. Even the coffee was good and not watered down. Ashley was our server and she was super friendly and down to Earth. Will definitely return to try some of their fancy alcoholic beverages! (Bayou Smasher pictured)

Excellent customer service + delicious food= full belly. Buster Tubbs is the go to place for breakfast and lunch. They have great outdoor seating with views of the water. Walking inside is like walking into mommy’s kitchen. If you‘re looking for that hometown feeling you’ve found it.

OMG the best Beignets with Rum glaze. Better than New Orleans. The fluffiest, lightest pancakes I've ever eaten. New Orleans comfort food at it's best. Cajun gravy and biscuits, yum. Remoulade sauce over crab cakes. Entertainment on Friday and Saturday. Happy Hour 4-6

Had a great breakfast with wife on mother's day. Veggie omelette was perfectly done. Wife also loved the chocolate dipped strawberries.

What a hidden little gem this place is! Unique American style food that is delicious (even if just a little salty sometimes;) We'll be back!

Great tiny breakfast restaurant a block from the water. Cajun sausage and biscuits were great. My spicy bloody mary was one of the best i had in a long time - topped off with a thick crunchy bacon strip plus a lime, pickle, and olive skewer.

The staff and owners r so friendly and fun. We had BBQ shrimp and some Cajun fries. The shrimp was amazing. Cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to try more food. Authentic NOLA style! Big outdoor patio area and good music and TVs.

I've only had breakfast here but it's so amazing! Great food and atmosphere! These guys know the authentic Louisiana cuisine and can cook so well! I could tell it was made with lots of love. Thank you for the great time!

Awesome little local spot! Took my kids here for brunch this week. The food was delicious, the service very attentive, weather was perfect for sitting outside!! The waitress even brought water for our dogs! The owner even came to the table to check on us and offer to re-cook anything we didn't like. Our favorites were the lobster roll and fried green tomatoes. Will definitely go back!

It was my first time, but the lovely young lady who served me was fantastic, when back in Tavares, I will stop in again.

Amazing place great food awesome people

Had the shrimp Po boy, American burger, wings and fries. Po boy was overflowing with fresh fried shrimp that were perfectly cooked. Burger was big and juicy and delicious. Wings were very good and fries were thick cut but 5/5 for taste and texture. Server was super nice.

We went for breakfast this morning! Everything was PHENOMENAL! There were 6 of us, every one loved their food and it all came out super fast. We all had something different and it was all just amazing. Between the 6 of us we had the lobster omelet, French toast, home fries bowl, Cajun biscuits and gravy, and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich! Stacy waited on us and she was SO sweet and provided excellent service! We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is amazing. We had a great time. Great outdoor area with live music. Very clean place. Drinks are Great and the food is seasoned beyond perfection. You have to try the Shrimp and Lobster Rice Bowl Amazing!!!! Will definitely be returning😊

AMAZING ! Under new management, amazing new flavors of new orleans 😋, best gumbo soup we have had yet with so many flavors. be sure to try the tender breaded catfish poboy, dirty rice , and red beans an rice! Now open till 8pm! not to mention the nicest people we have met and great service!

My wife and I had an excellent time here after an event we were at ended- Darion and Fefe took great care of us, the live music we heard all night during the event down the road was even better up close, and we can't wait to go back. We were recommended the cheesecake and there were plenty of authentic Louisiana options for food that we are looking forward to!
