We bought there a massage chair Luraco robotics 7. Great chair with many options of different kind of massage. It works quietly. We choose this model because my son is a tall guy 6'6". And te most chairs made for people up to 6'3".Thanks Tom for helping us to find a right one. He is a great salesman. Knowable and helpful.

For more than three weeks I shopped online trying to buy a Lift Chair for My Mother. After spending countless hours going from site to site and unable to trust the pictures and reviews of the hundreds of chairs I saw, I realized the only way I could make a good decision was to actually sit in the chair. I found the modern back in Boynton Beach, a locally owned store, with a showroom that has a wide variety of chairs that range in quality and price. After less than 30 minutes, and testing seven or eight chairs, I made a decision on a chair which I was completely confident would be a perfect solution for my mother. The salesman was knowledgeable and candid, and empathetic to my mother's condition. And I paid the same price as I would have paid for the chair if I had purchased on Amazon.
I can't say enough about how happy I am that I chose to visit the modern back in person to buy a lift chair. I am certain that I would have not have selected the chair that I did if I purchased online. Just as important, it made me feel good that I supported a locally owned small business, which we all need to maintain the stability of our community.

I did months of research before making such a big purchase. I couldn't find many businesses that actually had a storefront and in south Florida. The Modern Back was one of them. I scheduled a appointment with Tom, one of the owners and had a great time with him. I was surprised and impressed. Usually it would be like going to the used car lot but that was not the case at all. He was very helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. My "1st" visit lasted 3+hrs.
I'm very happy with my purchase, it is so nice to be able to get a massage any time I need to. I suffer from severe muscle spasms and this chair has been a huge blessing. After shopping for a new massage chair for the past few months, I visited The Modern Back to check out their massage chair showroom in Boynton Beach. I was pretty amazed at their selection of massage chairs. Fred Weiss was very helpful & patient as we tested out 6 different massage chairs. The decision was difficult but we decided on the Infinity Genesis Max massage chair. I have lower back pain from a boating accident a few years ago & after owning this chair for just a few short weeks I'm already feeling much better after every use. Deciding on the right massage chair was a challenging decision. Tom from The Modern Back store did a great job reviewing the functions of each chair. We also had the opportunity to comfortably try the various models. Once we decided on our chair, the chair was delivered and set-up by a friendly and competent "White Glove" team. So far, all good with my Osaki Paragon.

found the Modern Back online as I was "surfing" for massage chairs. I came super close to ordering one on Amazon for $995.00 which I thought was a price I could handle. Add to that Amazon delivery within 10 days, I was almost there! Then the Modern Back ad came up about visiting their show room In Boynton Beach. About 40 mins from me. I called and Tom suggested I come down and try out several different chairs! I had never been in a massage chair really and didn't know what to expect.
Tom and Tonya were wonderful educating me on a totally new world for me. I am so glad I didn't get the one from Amazon...I have since read reviews about just curb side delivery, I had to put stuff together MYSELF and lots of those chairs break quickly and repairs are a nightmare!
The chair I selected at Modern Back was the PERFECT ONE FOR ME!  I was able to finance for only $169.00 per month and the WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY was sooo worth it! Those guys were a Kick, very professional but human and funny. Strong and very skilled at putting this beautifully complicated massage chair.together just where I wanted it. I couldn't be happier with the WHOLE EXPERIENCE of purchasing my best friend, (I named my chair Micky). I am a professional massage therapist and always 'give' massage. I did a lot of research to find the best Massage Chair. I found it in the Lauraco i9 Custom Medical Massage Chair. Then I looked at as many retailers I could and picked "The Modern Back", in Boynton Beach, FL. I got the best price there. Customer Service was excellent. I was told I wouldn't receive my chair until early February. I purchased in November, 2021. I received the chair on February, 8th. I could not be more satisfied how this purchase went. I watched every video I could find on the Lauraco i9 chair and many other high-end Massage Chairs. It took a couple of months to research as many Massage chairs as possible. I am certain I made the right purchase. I have had the chair for three days now. WOW, what a massage chair. If you are in the market for the best Massage Chair made, watch as many Lauraco i9 Massage Chair videos you can to see how these chairs are made and what materials are used.

We purchased an Osaki massage chair over a month ago. Customer service was excellent throughout the process. Have let several of my friends try it out and they have purchased one as well. Me and my wife use it daily and love it!! Should of bought one years ago.

I made two trips to the Modern Back, driving from West Palm Beach to Boynton. It was well worth the trip.
The first time I dealt with Tom, the owner.
He's extraordinarily knowledgeable and knows the Pros and Cons of all of the major massage chair brands.
There was no pressure, no pre-qualification (what's your budget?), just a genuine desire to help me find the right massage chair.
The second time I went back to the store I was helped by Tanya.
Again, no pressure, just a genuine desire to help me find the right massage chair.
I did a lot of research and tried massage chairs at Relax the Back, Eldorado, Costco, and several furniture stores.
I was surprised that the only store with dedicated, knowledgeable salespeople was The Modern Back.
The sales staff at Relax the Back knew their inventory in the store, but their inventory was much smaller than the Modern Back.
For 72 years I have carried around this notion that if it's more expensive it must be better. That wasn't the case with the massage chairs. I started at the most expensive chair, and ended up with the least expensive, not based on budget, but rather based on comfort. The more expensive massage chairs had rollers that deeply penetrated my back. It hurt. It was akin to Rolfing, a form of massage where the therapist tries to dissolve the knots in your muscles with deep penetrations using elbows and the full body weight. I can't handle that kind of massage by a human or a mechanical massage chair.
Another curious notion I had was that the chair that had the most airbags would give the most comfortable massage. Wrong on that score. And finally, I had thought that the chair that had the highest number, e.g., 2-D, 3-D, etc., gave a better "high-tech" massage. Wrong on that score too.
The best chair by far in terms of comfort was the first chair by the front door. I bought two of them.
I recommend that everyone looking for a massage chair start and finish at the Modern Back. First, because you will get an education that will inform your choices at the other stores, and lastly, the Modern back has more inventory than Relax the Back, Eldorado, or any other store you will visit.
So there you have it.
Go to the Modern Back to get your consumer education.
Sit on every chair they have.
Go sit on every other chair within fifty miles.
I bought two chairs based on ergonomics and the most relaxing and rejuvenating massage.
If budget is a major factor, you will find that the Modern Back is price competitive.
They also have a budget for your delivery.
Their "curbside" is actually delivered to your front door, and their "threshold delivery" is delivered to a room inside your house with assembly. A delivery plan for every budget.

This chair has been amazing. Every function that we've used has brought us an additional level of comfort. The material is well made and looks great. My one regret is not pulling the trigger to buy this sooner. Customer service gave me great help in help in giving me suggestions for choices in my desired price range as well. Tom and everyone at the Modern Back were awesome to work with , they took time to show me the different models and I chose the Daiwa Supreme hybrid massage chair . I was only in town a short while visiting my mother and ir was more than evident my mom needed a new chair. She sleeps in her chair as well so getting her a good one was a challenge. I went to 3 stores without luck and went to online stores to see if that was an option. I was lucky to get Tanya and she was crucial in getting me a chair, getting the chair to the facility, and then arranging for disposal of the old chair. Speaking of the delivery, Tim was excellent!! I did my entire shopping and purchasing experience from 1200 miles away and never visited their showroom/store. Dan was able to talk to me with their online Chat function and answer a lot of questions and find out my needs and recommend the best chair based on those needs. Dan was very responsive to any questions I had along the way. The delivery was setup and the chair arrived in a timely manner. The whole family is enjoying the chair.

I spied this chair on website and had my mind made up. Tanya reinforced my preliminary decision. Red is my color. The delivery was flawless, installation quick. The chair has given the both of us hours of massages. The End.
