At Bob's you can always get a great deal and a little extra.
The bait is sized properly and priced a little lower than other shops.
If in need of a pit stop, their restroom is in clean working order unlike most others.
They will also take your reservation so you do not have to be in line at the crack of dawn.

Truly my favorite store. Love this place!! Such a wonderful experience every visit! They make you feel at home while educating all about fishing! Best damn shrimp I’ve ever seen! Captain Joe and his lovely wife truly care about the shrimps health. Making them the friskiest shrimp around! I came in to visit and get information for visitors coming to my area. Rob was absolutely wonderful and full of great answers!!! Customer arrive with buckets for live shrimp and proceed to Honeymoon island or the causway. They have all your needs for the water!!

Being from out of town and freshwater people we appreciated Joe's expertise in Salt and his employees help the following day. With their suggestions, tips and rig help my daughter and I were able to get on some great fish....a couple that broke the line...I highly suggest this bait shop for newbies and salty dogs

When I am heading out to do some fishing, this is my one-stop bait shop. The guy working is always friendly and great to talk with while I am waiting for him to get shrimp. Great service, great facility, easy access. As long as you are in business, you will always have my business.

Came across this place somewhat randomly and I’m so glad I did - Captain Joe, Elaine, Liz - they’re all so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with any fishing-related necessities or questions. Captain Joe has extensive knowledge in Florida angling and is more than happy to point you in the right places!

100% percent recommended to stop at this bait shop if you are planning a day of fishing. The woman working there is great yall got my business just an all around good experience to start with a good mood.

came in last week forgot to give my review this man blessed me on a handreal i ran out of my fiddler crabs put a shrimp on there that also he gave me for free! got 1 huge sheeps head and a nice sized seatrout dinner was nice that night!

Great customer service from these guys, my father and boyfriend went fishing the day before on Honeymoon Beach and didn't catch a thing. Next day went into Barracuda Bob's for tackle suggestions and live bait, caught some keeper sheepshead, 5 or 6 Gulf Whiting and a few others on the rigs they suggested for us! They also had great deals on clothing and hats in the store as well, will definitely be coming back !

Alf and the store team are extremely helpful from visitors planning a day at Honeymoon Island or those that are just getting started with fishing. Alf was very patient and helpful with me and my young son, teaching us how to select a rod and tackle. He even showed me how to make proper fishing knots. If you are looking for great customer service and products, head to Barracuda Bob's on the Dunedin Causeway just east of the draw bridge on the right!

The five times I've been there have been nothing but great! Good music playing. Nice guys who will point you in the direction of where the fishing are biting and what they're biting on. I have had nothing but great experiences with the crew there and will continue to use them for all my bait needs. You guys rock!!!

Barracuda bobs is the only bait shop I go to. Always friendly and helpful tips. I go out of my way to swing by this shop no matter where I'm going fishing. In fact I'm sitting in front of the store as we speak, waiting for them to open. C'mon guys, I need some shrimp. Lol

Use to go-to Angler 360 next door...Crap bait and crap service @ Angler 360. Barracuda Bob's has amazing and very knowledgeable staff. Thanks to one of their employees techniques​ on baiting a hook I was catching a fish on almost EVERY cast. Highly recommend Barracuda Bob's to all the other fishermen I meet on the Causeway...Plus Deuce is ADORABLE and so gentle with my nephew. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Fish Guy taught me how to hold a shrimp we bought a Bait bucket and for buying a Bait Bucket and shrimp we got one free dozen of shrimp and he was so so so nice. And we had 24 instead of 12 shrimp because one dozen was free... Capt joe you and your company deserve An A++++ including Capt Joe thank you Capt joe and this is why I gave it five Stars.. come here people

Awesome place has the best collection of whatever you need honestly. Hooked me up on the liveliest shrimp I have seen in the bay area in a long time. This is highly recommended to go to for bait and accessories.

The staff was very helpful and even gave me some free rope to tie onto my bait bucket. That small gesture and courtesy they showed me was enough to have me come back again. I highly recommend.
