Veskolini Cafe

Really cool coffee shop with delicious baked goods. Feels like it's in the middle of residential. I had a double espresso that was perfect and my wife had some sort of lavender latte concoction made with oat milk and made extra hot. We also had a couple of bite sized pistachio baklava that were delicious but I wished they were heated up instead of cold.

It's a gem that is hard to find anywhere. It's roomy, so you have that social distance you need, but the atmosphere is very relaxing with nice, quiet music and the stuff is super friendly and welcoming. Food variety is big, all kinds of different choices and the deserts were not huge, but just the right size to not make you feel guilty.

Pulled up hear for a morning boost. Really formal and calm place at 9:00am during the week. The service was great and the presentation on everything was excellent

It was a little hard to find at first but worth the trip. I love the decor and chill vibes. Dog friendly. Great choices in coffee and the food were great as well! It's definitely my new favorite coffee shop!

Upon entering the cafe, it is spacious and welcoming. A Mediterranean atmosphere entices you forward to the counter where a smile greets you. The menu has good readability and the bakery items are in full view.

A wide assortment of coffee, tea and other beverages (including wine) are easily viewed with bottled water and sodas as grab and go. Service is excellent 👍There is a private event room available that has a large table for 8-10 people.

Other popular menu items include paninis and cakes or baklava.
Personally, I ordered an iced coffee and coffee cake muffin to eat outdoors on the picnic table. The muffin was warmed and the day delightful.

This building is accessible ♿ and has a paved parking lot (small).

Suggestions: Even though cold brew coffee is Japanese in origin, it's a value added to any cafe menu. Please also install a bike rack. ☺

Such a cute place. Great place to work at if you're a hybrid or remote worker. Good for board game or card groups. Lots of the goodies are made in house, like the croissants. The lattes have a thick foam at the top and you can clearly see the layers. You can tell she loves her work! This place is immaculate.

Decided to try Veskolini Cafe today for an afternooncoffee and snack. The iced caramel brulee coffee and iced brown sugar cinnamon latte were exceptional, and the Belgian Chocolate cake slice was a delightful treat. The cafe's surprisingly spacious yet cozy interior added to the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Veskolini Cafe for a delightful coffee and cake indulgence.

I forgot to take pictures, but this was a wonderful little coffee shop. We had scrambled eggs with red peppers and feta, and delicious coffee. We'll definitely return to try the amazing looking desserts.

First time at Veskolini Cafe and it did not disappoint! Tasteful, beautiful, and very clean. It's close to the heart of downtown Dunedin but on a quiet street, perfect place to relax and enjoy your coffee or dessert. Nice furnishings, has an upscale feel to it. The Cafe is actually pretty big, they even had a gathering room where a group of ladies were doing some sort of wine and paint (check out the photo below, lol). We received a very friendly service from Lena, we already had some drinks and she was so nice, humorous, and patient with us. Their coffee was absolutely delicious, almond Danish flavorful, chocolate cake very rich without being too overwhelmingly sweet. Usually I'm not a fan of baklava but theirs was delicious, very fresh and moist. I can't wait to return to Veskolini Cafe.

Very lovely Italian cafe. They have a nice selection of bakery stuff and desserts. The coffee was delicious. I also loved the decor and the ambiance overall. Highly recommend checking it out. I will surely come back whenever I am on the area.
Parking: I found parking on the street however there is some limited parking by the cafe as well.

First time visiting Clear water beach, and wanted to try small, local, not pretentious place.
Didn't expect much, but man was I surprised.
Owner personally came to my table to make sure everything is my satisfaction. Staff was very attentive as well. Food was amazing (I tried European cheese pastry and a croissant), served promptly. Also I had an absurdly good late, perfectly roasted in the European tradition. Can't recommend more, Veskolini Cafe. Place is a must try!

The bacon, egg & cheese on an everything bagel was the best I’ve ever had!! It had cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, bacon & egg. We also got an iced mocha that was delicious. The atmosphere is awesome and it was bigger than I thought. We plan to go back again & again. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. I typically get the Brown Cinnamon Sugar Hot Latte and it's absolutely the best. . The breakfast sandwiches are made fresh and are delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and the shop is tastefully decorated. Warren D

Such a quaint and quiet little coffee house. Very comfortable environment to park ourselves for a few hours while "wfh" before heading out to explore the rest of Dunedin after hours. I enjoyed my lattes, bagel sandwich and pastry throughout the afternoon. Service is excellent. Wifi strong. Bathroom clean.

I've been to Veskolini dozens of times this year. My experiences are always been excellent: this is why I return so often. Whether for a coffee, tea or a meal, it is always a pleasure. The drinks and food are quite good, the atmosphere is pleasant, the service prompt and alert. I typically work while I am there, sometimes for several hours, so it is good that I can have a good meal when I'm hungry. One thing of note is the temperature is always comfortable, something I do not necessarily find to be true at many coffee-type restaurants. The place is clean, well-maintained and nicely appointed. There are several spaces for parking in the front but more in the back of the building.

Prices, I think, at ~10-15% above average. But, food was very tasty!

Delicious macchiato and espresso ☕ We came in 15 minutes before closing and still we were treated to good service and great coffee in a fabulous environment. Highly recommend!
