Albany Welcome Center

I had a fabulous visit today with Ms Sandy, Ms Audry and Brett. I’m telling you the southern hospitality, and their charm is so delightful. Ms Sandy even took the time to talk to me about a children’s book that promotes literacy, he is a local. Malcolm Mitchell. There is a lot to do around there like seeing the turtle park, and Ray Charles statue that was fabulous. Onto the civil rights movement. Even learning about how they are gathering native American spear heads from the river. When you stop, please tell the ladies that Cindy said hi.

Great playground and river front. The ladies working are very nice and friendly.

Deborah and her grandson visited Turtle Grove park as part of their virtual classroom field trip on Monday morning. We had fun while learning and playing at the same time.

The employees are very friendly, and willing to help you find different places around Albany to visit. They also have bikes that you can rent for the day.

I had a number of trips discovering the plaza while in Albany lately. It is a beautiful place. Its like a haven of relaxed atmosphere in the insanity of life.2 lakes are surrounded by office blocks on one side and The Egg on the other side At the back a stage area was being set up for a concert. On the 1st occasion I was there the place was deserted. last occasion there I enjoyed a free concert with lots of stalls selling food This Center is a great facility for family enjoyment.

The woman at the front desk was very welcoming, polite, professional, & friendly. I was given numerous pamphlets showing me attractions around Albany. I was also given a nice Albany Ga bag for my pamphlets. The Visitor's Center is very nice. Make sure you stop by and sign the Visitors log.

Bike rentals $10. Trail for walking or biking. Please be careful of snakes and stay hydrated.

We always appreciate the outdoor sitting any season.They are set up much like cafes in Albany,Ga. The foods is always excellent here and the workers seems very passionate about creating sure you are pleased. The assistance is excellent.The weekend evening with Element’s Coffee Company make for a relaxing day.

I suppose I want to become a regular member who is at this location.As a "road warrior" I appreciate the location. It is located at best place easy to reach their. The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable. They will give the idea about every place which one is to visit next by you.Albany is quickly becoming my "home away from home" on business trips. I really enjoyed every time I visit this town. Also recommend you to visit place once.

Love the waterfront bike trails.

This is a very nice place to visit if you want to know where to go and what to do in Albany. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and there are several interesting exhibits in the building. When you're there, make sure to walk down to the Flint River.

It's not big but enough to inform and enjoy. Also has display space used for changing exhibits. Staff is very nice and very helpful! Pretty place to enjoy old Albany.

Parking is difficult, but the people inside are very friendly It seems very clean and a good place to stop on a road trip with young kids... My children love run around outside.

The restored Keenan Autoparts store is great! It's clean, with lots of info on the local area, plus restrooms and snacks for sale while visiting nearby Turtle Park.

The place is beautiful, the people extremely helpful and friendly with all the time in the world to help and answer any questions we had. Easy to find, lots of street parking available.

I came here for a meeting last week. The place is quaint. The staff is cordial, helpful and seem to like working there. That's important; to like the place you work.

Better And Cleaner than most rest stops. A little bit of everything, and the costs were not too bad. There is a excellent wide range here; something for everyone.

They had free lemonade for me to drink! There is a good bunch of information available to the public about events and things to do!

I enjoyed looking around. The women was a delight to talk to and very helpful.
