I visit Penland’s ever time I’m in North Georgia! A great family feel, and great selection of Apple products and gifts! The best cider anywhere!

We stopped at Penland's Apple House after a short road trip. They have a large selection of jams, preserves, jellies, relish and pickled products. They also sell shirts, toys and games. The store is well organized and spacious. They also have vegetables and of course a great variety of apples.

We visited both locations on our Ellijay apple tour. Love the unique features of each one. Special shout-out to the Hwy 282 location. The cashier made a special point of having my kids pick out a free apple from the display and then she cut it and put it in a bag for easy snacking. We’ll be back next year!

We always stop in at Penland's Apple House while on vacation in the area! Our most recent visit exceeded our expectations. The staff were so sweet to us and gave special attention to our daughter. As we were leaving we were greeted by Doug who was taking down the corn stalks out front. He stopped and shared with our 5 year old about the dried corn and ways it could be used. Before we knew it we were not leaving. We spent quite a bit longer visiting and allowing our daughter time to have hands-on learning. We bought boiled peanuts and sat on their porch eating them. It's so nice to meet good people and see that taking an interest in children still exists. You never know the impression one can make and how that interaction can continue to ripple through their next days and even be shared with someone else. Thank you and God bless your business!

Found this hidden gem in Ellijay, Georgia. Apples galore🍏🍎. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. Fried apple pies — fritters, apple cider, canned goods, etc. Friendly staff.

Haven't been here since the late 90s to early 2000s, brought the family here on a whim. The staff were friendly, the products were fresh and the wife and I discovered a love of apple slushie! We'll definitely be back once they put out the pumpkins for the Autumn. I'm going to go eat my apple fritter now...

Penland's is one of the last true apple barns.

They focus on their fabulous apples, amazing pies and baked goods, their seasonal produce, and also feature local farm products.

Thankfully , one does not have to endure a carnival show or suffer through a crowd of thirty minute agri tourists seeking cheap entertainment stunts and activities.

Awesome staff, very welcoming. They have a huge selection of jams and jellys and fruit butter, despite the name they have more than apples. I was able to find some peach jam, Vidalia onion steak sauce, fresh peaches, and they have an array of ciders. The strawberry cider is very delicious.

First time stopping at this awesome little spot. I think we caught them at an odd time (late on a Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving) so it wasn’t really hopping. But in so glad we stopped.

Everything we got was delicious! The apple pie, pork skins, boiled peanuts, and apple donuts. 😋

Wish we would have gotten some apples now. Even if it didn’t sound good as a snack in the road it’s always worth taking some home.

Can’t wait to stop here again.

Of all the apple barns we visited this is the ONLY one where the staff was pleasant, helpful and kind. The made every effort to accommodate us while looking around. They opened a box of apple cider doughnuts so we could try them…everyplace else wanted you to buy before you try. Lastly, they had the ability to buy a few apples and not a big bag full. This place may be smaller but the customer service was big!

Great little stop near Elijay! They have everything from apples to peaches to boiled peanuts! We stop here nearly every fall because it’s such a great place for a quick snack pick-me-up on road trips and family get-a-ways. Highly recommend you stop in and grab some pies!

Inviting store with delicious pies, cider, boiled peanuts, preserves and sauces, and tremendous values on apples of many varieties. A garden with picnic tables and lawn games out back. This will be a regular stop for us.
