Villa Gargano Italian Restaurant

Just found our new Friday night pizza spot. I can eat certain pizza from certain places. Being from New York I'm a for hard thin crust ny pie guy. This place hit the spot, and took me to Brooklyn first class.. Cheesesteak was really good too. Reminds me of fair cheesesteaks. Can't go wrong with this spot. Chef Gram approved

Went with my family and had a great night! Great selection of Italian food. Not that big of a menu but what the menu lacks in quantity, it makes up for quality! Service we received was impressive. Waiter was friendly and personable. We went here because one of their former staff members suggested it to us and we were not disappointed. Okay, I'm a bit disappointed that they said they haven't been serving pizza since the plannedemic but that's minor. They had impressive Italian wine selection and server knows good recommendations. If you're going to get salad, try their in-house blue cheese dressing. Veal piccata was really tender and the Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy but not over-the-top.

Ps. We also enjoyed the murals inside the restaurant.

I've traveled most of the states and a fair amount of Europe, including Italy, and I have to say this restaurant has outstanding food. Service may SEEM slow but that's part of the ambiance. The timing allows time for conversation and laughter, if you want food being shoveled at you one course after the other buy a conveyor belt and go to a fast food joint. I saw two reviews in particular that made me laugh and caused an irresistible urge to clown on them. For example, one had the nerve to say small portion sizes. First of all you're a human and not a horse. Their portions are plentiful there buddy. And another called her salad "uninspired." Really? Lmao, calm down there Chef Karen Ramsay. Just reading your review made my drink taste like truffle oil.
Friendly, casual, intimate location with well crafted food made from quality ingredients. I was impressed and will definitely be back.

First time there. Food is amazing. Ordered mozzarella sticks and onion straws for appetizers. Cooked perfect. Then had the veal and chicken parmesan. Both cooked perfect they melted in your mouth. Chandler our server just started there. No problems. Will be going back with and without our friends.

What more could I say than what has already been said.

The baked macaroni is amazing! Servings are generous. My plate could have probably fed two people.

If you haven't visited Villa Gargano you're missing out!

I have been going to Garganoes on Slappy since it was a walk up and order.We sit in the car and eat.Much to my delight as a child Baskins 31 flavors ice cream was right next door. Recently had my first pizza from there since Covid.100% wonderful.I live in Moultrie about 40miles one way but always worth the trip.

Great Italian food. Family came from Italy many years ago. Mama and Papa Gargano began the business and the recipes are still hers. Best pizza and lasagna around. Atmosphere is great.

The server was great in answering questions and keeping us satisfied during an increasingly busy time. Food is served fresh and was delicious. We will be back to try the many choices of good food.

Our waiter was very helpful and prompt. Our food was out in a reasonable amount of time and as always very delicious! I had the baked macoroni and my husband had pizza. I would recommend both!

My sister would not eat any other pizza except Villa Garganos pizza! It is well worth every dime .! The sandwiches are exceptional too. Johnny keeps the place SPOTLESS! Its just a great old resturaunt

Although it will never be able to replace the original Gargano's in East Albany, this is a pretty good place. The staff is nice, not outgoing, but nice and the food is good. I love the Gargano's special salad with salami

Always love going to Villa! Sergio is excellent! If you haven't tried a small pizza for an appetizer to share the table, you should, excellent addition to your meal! Tiramisu is excellent, daughter loves the cannoli!

Best Italian restaurant in South GA they use the finest quality italian ingredients. Definitely not frozen premade like an Olive G--- or other chains. A place to bring someone for Valentine's day

Top choice for Italian in Albany,GA and surrounding area. Wish they would re-open, even if it was limited days/hours and delivery only. I'm seriously jonsen for one of their loaded chicken cheesesteaks!
