The Flint

Heard the raves in the area by locals. There was no wait. Our server was Jasmin, she was on top of everything we needed and very nice. We started with the fire lemonhead drink, your choice of liquor. Jasmin set the lemon and sugar on fire at the table. A fun way to start your meal! After ordering our food, it did not take too long for the food to make it to the table. The lamb chops looked gorgeous and tasted even better. The grilled chicken sandwich was amazing too, great flavor and a flavorful sauce to dip chicken in. I changed out my cheddar cheese for parmesan on my loaded baked potatoe, delicious! The Flint is worth every bit of their raves; the service, food and atmosphere are 5 out of 5.

This was an amazing high end southern cooking! What a treat!
The fried green tomatoes were so good, we ordered extra to go, and were delicious cold as well.
My husband had the oxtail, he said best he ever ate! The catfish very southern, with nice choices for sides. I will definitely try the lamb next time.
We were greeted at the table with lovely southern charm. This is how a restaurant should be run!

Delicious food, great looking restaurant, upscale dining, and full bar. Chef is doing it right in downtown Albany. If you haven't been there, you should! I had the whole red snapper fried to perfection 👌

The food and service was exceptional. The owners were very friendly and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu.

What a lovely and unexpected experience! From Montana, and traveling through Georgia by car when we decided to stay in Albany. Oxtail and the lamb were spectacular… Sat at the bar and the company of both the staff and management was the highlight of the evening

A dining experience of epic proportions. I had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the oxtail and it is highly recommended. The second night we did apps and listened to jazz. The Baltimore crab claws and friend green tomatoes were awesome!

We have eaten in fine restaurants all over the world. My wife and I would rate this restaurant at the very top of all of them. To find such a great restaurant in Albany, Georgia is truly amazing. If you are anywhere near Albany, you definitely want to eat there. Can’t say enough good things about the owner who also happens to be the chef. He puts his heart and soul into each meal.

Me and my wife went there tonight and it was a great experience, the waitress was very good and helpful, the restaurant was very great, the experience was excellent 👌, we will be be real soon... we went back and the food was great...the service was on point...

I can't say enough positive comments about this establishment. The Flint....oh so appealing and comforting. Beautiful art is displayed in various areas for viewing. Just beautiful. A family owned and ran restaurant with great ambiance, music and professional staff. The food is dynamite! The gator bites, catfish, Mac n cheese and broccoli were full of flavor and fresh. The bartender was great, the Chocolate Martini was by far the best I have tasted. There is live music on Friday evenings. I will definitely return on my next visit to Albany, GA.

Honestly the most impressive part of my experience was the service. The waitress was so attentive and nice. Every employee that even walked by in passing would greet the table and ask how we are doing. I’m from Atlanta area where service is nonexistent so this was very refreshing. I just had the E Wings and Paradise drink. The wings were perfectly cooked and had a unique flavor. The drinks were great but a little expensive although $15 cocktails seem to be the new normal so I suppose it is on par with most. If you’re in the area you should come here.

The Flint restaurant was Highly recommended by every person asked where to get a good meal in Albany followed by they are expensive for this area but it is worth it. I personally will pay for an amazing food experience and this place did not disappoint. From the second we were seated until we left we had a great time. Food,Drinks,People,and the vibe/atmosphere were second to none. We order the Cigar sticks and they were not just called that but handmade to resemble Cigars with an amazing crust and fried perfectly. We ordered the Stuffed Flounder, Lamb Chops, and the Ribeye steak. Flavor,temp and presentation were on point. Even the drinks were nice and tasty...... If you are looking for and upscale place with a welcoming vibe this is the spot for you. My Team and I Highly recommend this place and Shout out to Chef G keep up the outstanding work.

Everything was excellent. This was our first time and it won’t be our last. We are from Florida and we bought my mother in law here for her birthday. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. They had a live singer that sung her happy birthday. We could not eat all of our food because it was so much.Well worth the price for the amount of food that you get. I highly recommend this place. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The owners came out and welcomed us and made us feel at home.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Staff is super nice and friendly. Will be coming here all the time when I move to Albany. Had alligator bites for the first time ever and they were so good. I had the rotisserie chicken with mac n s cheese and my friend had the lamb chops and greens. Both super tasty. The complimentary corn bread was delicious too. My friend and I were stuffed!

The Flint has to be one of the best restaurants we have ever dined at! Wonderful service and the food was amazing! If you are near Albany, Georgia, we would highly recommend The Flint restaurant! Loved every dish we ordered!

First restaurant I’ve eaten at in Albany and it was amazing! Quay(server) had exceptional customer service and you can trust him with any recommendations. My partner and I had the catfish and oxtail entree with four different sides and none of them disappointed. The mature vibe with a hint of southern soul with a live singer made it a perfect date night.

Highly recommend!! Had a private dinner party/ toy drive & everything was great. The vegan burger was one of the best vegan burger I even had! The restaurant itself is a beauty. The owners were great and professional. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

We were treated like royalty at the flint! The owners chatted with us. The chef came out to say hello. The whole staff is the picture of customer service. THE FOOD AND DRINKS WERE SO DELICIOUS. Everything our table ordered was delicious. Happy to see a business like this in Downtown Albany. I will be back!!!!

The food is always delectable. Everything I've tried on the menu has exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere/vibe is pleasant. Wonderful place to visit for upscale dining.
