Local Coffee of East Ridge

I didn't have the time to try any of the coffees here because of a short visit with other friends. This building was a thrift store in the past but now is not only a coffee shop but it's also a church named True Life Church with lots of space for worship singers and a worship service plus meeting rooms and a children's room. Lots of God's love is shared here in this wonderful place in East Ridge, TN!

This is a delightful locally owned coffee shop with friendly owners willing to share local East Ridge history, and their appreciation for art.

This great for a meeting with a colleague, catching up with an old friend, taking gramma out to lunch, or getting work done.

The atmosphere is comfortable, unpretentious and is reminiscent of the friend's house that you always loved to visit because it felt like home.

Finding Local Coffe can be a bit tricky, the sign isn't on the building yet.

This place is great, it’s a huge space with plenty of areas to cozy up with a book or scroll TikTok. The Chai latte is delicious!

Their raspberry syrup mixed with mocha in a latte was super good! Cinnamon rolls were sooo yummy! Loved the local area they sold on the walls. It was a very spacious coffee shop. It is connected to a church I think. They have some other good looking pastries that are local too. They didn’t have brown or raw sugar available or latte designs. Really nice people that helped us. Loved the decorations and atmosphere. Great local option to the area! 💛

I had driven in from Nashville to purchase something and ended up here with the seller for a coffee/tea this past Saturday.
I was amazed by the size of it, the Church and also the kindness and friendly nature of the owner, who told me he is a guitarist as well. There is a lot of space here for reasonably sized group meets too. I plan to bring my family back on our next visit to Chattanooga.

We received a very warm welcome, excellent coffee and cinnamon rolls, smooth jazz, and a lovely, fresh, open atmosphere. Everything was pristine including the amazing restroom. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Came in on a Saturday morning with our 2 year old grandson. What a great spot for coffee and breakfast. We had several choices for food and enjoyed a delicious cinnamon roll! The coffee was great and, they have almond and oat milk available, as well as stevia. Free refills on coffee. Lots of comfortable places to sit. More folks should venture in. BTW, yes, a church meets in this space, but there is no sense of anyone with an agenda…this is a great coffee shop. Come on in and visit. We will be back!

Fantastic coffee joint. Huge space but hard to find based on limited signage. The building looks like an old Fred’s or the early 80’s Walmart building. The coffee is great here - even the cold brew, which I rarely like unless it’s Starbucks cold brew. The most amazing thing at Local Coffee, however, is the cinnamon roll. Lots of pics in the reviews and for good reason - the proper level of goeyness and butter topped when they warm it to serve. A top cinnamon roll!

Great place! Friendly, welcoming, wonderful atmosphere. Food and coffee, tea and soft drinks are great.

I absolutely love this place. Me and my boyfriend come here every Saturday and any other day he isn't working. The staff is fantastic. We met Nate the first time we came here and now he is a really good friend. The coffee here is the best. The atmosphere here is the best. The people are the best. Its really just the best.

Owners are very welcoming and they have the best chai lattes.

Great coffee! Local Coffee has a cozy place to drink coffee with Wi-Fi. Also, if you’re a local business, they have lots of room for meeting space to use, so be sure to check out what they have.

Went for a game day. A lot of fun. Best chai latte I've had. Nice event space. Clean place, well kept up.

If you really wanna try coffee. This place is the place 🙌 tried a v60 for the first time and I enjoyed it. Good atmosphere and I live near by so makes it better. Awesome and friendly service. I will definitely come again :)

Tried this place out tonight with our small group meeting! I love supporting local businesses and this coffee shop did not disappoint! It is adorable inside and the staff is very friendly. Reasonably priced. The muffins and coffee were all delicious, and there was plenty of space, lots of tables for a small meeting! There's also a couch and comfy chairs, plus the WiFi was great. Plenty of parking out front.
