Campbell County Public Library: Newport Branch

We absolutely love our local library! It's clean and quite! The childrens section is wonderful and the murals painted are beautiful! Absolutely recommend!

Friendly and peaceful environment, great deals on books and games during sales. I've been going to this library since it was built, I don't remember the year, but I remember the Newport library was on 4th or 5th street before this one was built. It's been a great place since day 1. I loved going almost every day and now my kids love going even more. I have to pick them up from the library instead of the school. Haven't had a bad experience yet.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Attractive and clean facility. Plenty of parking. They provide alot of extra curricular activities for children and adults.

The Newport Public Library is a hidden gem tucked away in the historic district of Newport. The atmosphere of this cozy library is warm and inviting, making it a great place to spend a quiet afternoon. The library boasts an impressive collection of books and movies, as well as a decent number of computers available for public use. The staff is always friendly and eager to assist, and their level of professionalism only adds to the overall positive experience of visiting this library. One of the highlights of the Newport Public Library for me was attending a monthly meeting with my tabletop gaming group. We would gather to play social-deduction games like Werewolf, and the library provided us with a perfect space for our group. Although I am no longer a part of the group, I still visit the library from time to time for its serene atmosphere and the convenience of having books and movies readily available.

I am So grateful for these women that work here! Not only are these ladies very helpful and friendly but thank God there are still honest people in this world! They found my wallet and called me and when i went to pick it up, everything was in place! Even my $200 i had in there. Thank you So much!! God bless all of you ❤

I visit this library regularly and I've never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only "complaint" that I have is that sometimes it is quite loud. But this seems to be normal for ALL of the libraries nowadays. Overall I give Campbell County Public Library 5 out of 5 stats!!

I love this library. The librarians are super helpful and I often ask for inter library loans etc. always get a very good vibe there. I check out books 2-3 times a month and they help me keep my little library stocked. So grateful to have this library close to home.

I love all the things for children!!! I also love how they have so many movies you van rent! Since all the movie rental places went out, its really nice!

Staff is great and even help with online things that doesn’t pertain to them when you ask for help and they have gone above and beyond. Great place for kids and they by far have the cheapest printing

There is only curbside service but they do their best to accommodate you. I needed something printed and they were able to get it done! Very impressed with the effort they put forth.

Great basic library. Not like an academic library but has ok resources.
