Camden Park was the first ever amusment park I ever went to, and now I an an adult and went again at the end of summer; I forgot how amazing it feels to smell the funnel cakes, and fly down the big dipper so fast your whole body leaves the seats.

Honestly, its not a fancy theme park. It's a dinky old family fun place. If your old fashioned fun, you will love it. Plus, there rarely are any lines except at 1 or 2 food stands. Most of the time you can walk up to a ride and be on and ready to ride quicker than it takes to walk through the ropes for possible lines.

•Nifty Little Fact: The Big Dipper is one of the last all wooden roller coasters that is still up and running, and honestly, that alone is super cool, I think.

Great little amusement park. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. Don't expect anything fancy here, but the customer service was great. All the rides were operating with a fast turnaround time. We had lunch there and the food was really tasty. Prices were a lot cheaper then all the other larger amusement park chains. It's a little run down but the atmosphere is awesome. I'm sure you will enjoy it for the price.

Our family loves coming here each summer. It’s super affordable. We pack our cooler and go eat lunch at the truck. They stamp your hand and you can leave and come back as often as you want. Water is free in the park. But food cost really isn’t that bad on our trips we want to splurge we never spend more than 50 for 4 to eat what they want. We only do Snow cones and water on these days because of the heat and how active we are when there. They have some amazing snow cones. Didn’t grab a picture last time forgot! Lol

Worth every penny. Had an awesome time. The water log roller-coaster was my favorite thing there. (Tip ride in back if you don't want to get wet) with that being said my wife definitely rode up front 😂.

You can spend 2-3 hours at this park and get everything done you want….we usually go in the evenings for starlight pricing (discounted), but if we go during the daytime, we print a coupon ahead of time off the website. $5 off per person - one coupon good for 4 people. Camden Park is per my family “a national treasure”. It’s a small park without all the pomp and circumstance but it is charming for that reason too. The Haunted House is classic and has had a wonderful revamp - it looks so good now! I’m so thankful and happy they were able to put the time and money into giving it the facelift it needed! They are repairing The Big Dipper now too - so we didn’t get to ride it, but we are excited to see the improvements being made on it too. These two rides alone are truly national treasures as they are some of the most historical rides in the country. Be sure to get a pronto pup (corn dog) while you’re there and don’t count out their milkshakes (some of the best we have ever had)!!
Small crowds and short wait times
We closed the park down last night so we were able to get some great photos of the Haunted House!

Rides, for all ages. We always have a great time at Camden park. Been going since a young child. Wish they would rebuild a new roller coaster! It's time!

Great family owned amusement park. It may not be the newest or shiniest, but it certainly is classic. Great classic rides. Roller coasters for kids of all ages. Pronto Pups are amazing! Ride Big Dipper in the back seat for one of the wildest rides around.

Had a great time with the family. Even Camden Park is experiencing a shortage of employees due to all the free government money. Some rides were not running and there were workers running two rides at once. It was still fun and all of the major rides were open. The Big Dipper is a classic Coaster and still provides quite a thrill for it's size. Great air time in a couple of the drops. The Haunted house is no slouch either for a classic Pretzel Ride. The Log Flume tends to have the longest lines, but has a pretty impressive drop on it and you are guaranteed to get wet as it splashes hard at the bottom of the drop. The park also has all the classic county fair rides as well. The center aisle games were not all open and it likely has something to do with lack of employees available to work. There was one employee running three games. The bathrooms definitely need some repairs though. Mini gulf was running, but not the paddle boats. The train is nice but not longer has the cowboy and Indian theme it used to have. They should bring back another theme to make it more interesting. Definitely worth price of admission and you can definitely spend a whole day of family fun here.

Still a good time for small children. The haunted house got a nice new paint job inside and out.

Very old park. It's like going back in time. Opened in 1903. It was really fun to ride attractions that are so old, yet still operating safely. I recommend the after 4 pm pass. 2 people get in for $25. The park can be done in about 2 hours. The Whip was great!

Omg I LOVE this place! I could take my babies here everyday! My baby had a blast. My other two took off and enjoyed their time as well!Definitely a kid friendly environment and you’re guaranteed to have a blast! Please do something with that diner it could be a beautiful place to sit and relax. The view was amazing, however the diner was filthy. I couldn’t allow my kids to eat in there! It’s a shame because Camden Park is definitely on my top favorite list!

Visited for the entire day. Grandson's 10th birthday. 20 family members and friends gathered for hot dogs, drinks and Park rides. Very reasonable admission fees and friendly and knowledgeable staff, always helping and assisting small riders.

A great step back to my childhood. Even though it's a small park you can't find rides like this in the bigger amusement parks. I absolutely love this place. I have to admit I was a little sad to find out they are talking out some of the old ride to replace them with newer ones. This is a historic park. And it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Camden park was a fun experience and highly recommend if you are in the area. It is fairly cheap and alot of fun for the price. Each rides wait time was no more than 6 minutes on a Sunday. Each ride felt like a step above normal carnival rides with alot of them being really old.

A family tradition for many around this area and an amazing time with family this holiday weekend.
Needs a facelift but the fun and joy on the kids face is timeless!!!

Camden Park is a small, family oriented theme park. If you are looking for giant giga-coasters and thrill rides, this place isn't for you. If you are looking to have a fun and relaxed afternoon with your family, THIS IS THE SPOT! The park is affordable even for a large family. There are plenty of things to do and rides to enjoy. Park is as clean as any other amusement park, and the restrooms are acceptable. Food served in the park is decent and not too expensive. Lines are short and move quickly.

Eventually there's going to be a front page Gazette headline containing both "tragedy" and "The Big Dipper" but until that day we will delight in the genuine fear that comes with riding it. 😁 Love The Slingshot and the carnival rides. Pronto Pups are the best unhealthy fair food ever. Halloween at Camden is a blast, thanks for more memories. 🥰
