St. Charles City-County Library, Kathryn Linnemann Branch

The library has always been an important part of my life. As a kid I went and checked out books regularly and participated in the Summer reading program. These days I still check out books, use their computers, print tax forms, and emails as needed. The staff is wonderfully helpful. I was sad when it was closed due to Coronavirus. I like all the renovation they did. It looks great. It's a nice cool quiet place to relax. I miss checking out books with librarians. It was fun to chat with them. Now you use a scanner and computer to check out items, etc. It's nice that you can eat inside the library. I enjoy taking free classes there. The return books inside is now by the information desk and not by the entrance exit.
I hope they make a stress relief adult pet dogs hour free class.

Lovely St. Charles County Library Branch with friendly staff and self-checkout stations. The section by the fireplace is and awesome place to sit and read. It has a large children's section and helpful librarians stationed specifically in that area to help you find new books and movies for the kiddos.

A great place to take a toddler. They have a kids section with fun toys to play with. Obviously they also have a great book selection!

Friendly, helpful staff, Clean, tons of information and resources regularly displayed. Drive through window! Way more than just a library! A safe space for teens, a quiet place to work, an interactive place for kids and toddlers to learn while having fun! Has it all! It's crazy how useful and resourceful the library has become and the selection of items you can borrow (FOR FREE!!) BEYOND books! Im so very appreciative of all who thought of the creative, outside-the-box ideas and the ones that worked to make it all happen!

The women were very helpful, wouldn't know how to print sheets at my age, but they graciously helped me.

I've been coming to this branch almost as long as it's been at this location, and it's just wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of room to relax and check out the offerings. Ample computer resources. I also like that they have snack and drink vending, including a coffee and hot chocolate machine. It's easy to lose hours here.

It was my first time! The staff were excellent in helping me. The library was beautiful and they had a wide variety of books. I hope to come back here because I enjoy reading and watching movies. I'd definitely hang out at this particular library while catching up on a good book to read something I truly miss from childhood lol

What a welcoming, well thought-through and well laid out library! I visited the children's section and it was so inviting for my granddaughter. We stayed and read and played for nearly two hours.

March 24 2021 the Kathryn Linneman is open again for in- branch patrons! It is dramatically reconfigured, especially the area where visitors use the desktop computers. Computer stations have been spaces apart for social distance, 10 max guests. More self service check out. Any staff member now sits enclosed in plexiglass on three sides. Children section and fiction remain where they have always been. Audio books are now up by the check out/ main desk.

After the remodel a few years ago, this is a beautiful library. Plenty of comfortable chairs and places to relax and read or study. There are many computers available to use plus free WiFi

They were a big help. With faxing stuff. Everyone was very helpful and very cheerful!!

The children's programs here are top notch. My daughter has learned so much.

This place is excellent. Along with having an endless variety of bounded books, they also offer seating for the one to a group of visitors. The staff are so quick and courteous.

This library is so neat ! So many things to do during the summer and everyone who works there is very friendly. Highly recommend.

I was so excited to see the library open again! Its changed a little, but the staff was GREAT! Love this library!!

A very nice staff and wide selection, combined with a clean and beautiful place, all come together to make one of the best libraries in the area.
