Des Peres Park

My favorite park in St. Louis. Always clean and kept up. Large enough to maintain social distancing and still enjoy getting a brisk walk and some photographs.

Des Peres Park is a great place for kids to play. It features two playgrounds for different ages as well as picnic benches for families to eat. There are walking paths that go through the park and around the lake. The park is clean and isn't too crowded. The bridges allow you to observe fish and fowl on the lake. The scenery is gorgeous.

We especially enjoy visiting this park It has a lot to offer and is very well maintained.

This 42-acre park has: bicycling, jogging, walking trails with 1 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1/4 mile tracks; the trail goes around the 2-acre fishing lake stocked with blue gill, bass, and catfish, but catch-and-release only; 3 Baseball / Softball Fields (open April - July); Reservable Gazebo; Pavilion with Grill (Reservable April - November) for celebrations/parties; Reservable Picnic Sites; 3 lighted Tennis Courts; 6 lighted Pickleball Courts; Multi-purpose Court; Nature Area; Parcourse Fitness Trail; Play Fountain (Memorial Day-Labor Day, controls by bathroom entrance); 2 Playgrounds (tot playground and 5-12 year old playground); Year Round Rest Rooms;
Shuffleboard Courts; and 2 Soccer Fields (Second week in August - Second week in November)

This park has it all. Beautiful lake with fountains. Many picnic areas and covered pavilions for rent. Picnic areas have drinking water and bbq setups. Two playgrounds with many trees around, creating natural shade. Good hiking trails. Plenty of parking.

Beautiful park. It's under construction right now but you can tell it's well maintained and plenty to do for everyone.

Des Peres Park is really a nice, quiet spot to walk or let your kids get their energy out on the playground! The bridge next to the small lake is a great spot for photography too. Highly recommend spending a portion of your day here if you get the chance!

Something fun to do during the pandemic nice playground for the kids, walking trails, picnic tables, bridge ove the lake with a fountain in it. Families with kids of all ages, grandparents, moms and dads, even friends were all out enjoying the weather and respecting each other's social distances. Very clean park, huge parking lot, amazing place I never knew was there.

Fantastic park right at 270 and Manchester. They have nice walking paths around a pond, several baseball and soccer fields, playgrounds for different age levels, tennis/pickleball courts, and more.

Great park for the family complete with pickleball and tennis courts; picnic tables, a great playground, and very nice trails.

This is a really nicely maintained park with a bunch of different things to do -- playground, lake (with fishing), softball/baseball fields, pickleball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard, walking trails, picnic shelter, restrooms, gazebo, basketball court, City Hall, etc. I even often see wild turkeys in the park.

VERY CUTE park! Two fountains, a bridge ti cross the water, nice walking trail, and kids playground!

It’s a nice park to walk around. It has a lake and some workout stations.

Des Peres Park is a local gem! The beautiful scenery makes it easy to enjoy a walk or run on paved trails. The park is also calisthenic-friendly, yielding olympic rings and a multi-height pull-up rig. I would not recommend riding your bike or walking your aggressive dog because the park is usually crowded. Kids will have a blast on the playground and fishing decks.

Great Park! Lots of places to rest and enjoy the scenery, great for Pokemon, nice paths and quiet spaces.

Such a great park to walk at! Has a beautiful lake where you can fish. There are also baseball fields and a basketball court.

In the middle of all this mud - I find my refugee in the park - this one will always be special in my heart - bridges, mallards, half frozen pond & just ME! Highly recommend special 2 hour tour!

This is very nice park. The playgrounds are in good condition, it is clean. The spaces for kids to play are plentiful. We enjoy sitting near the pond some days and others, we enjoy watching the soccer games happening. We have met several pleasant people here. We will add this to our occasional park trips in the future. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well.
