LVX painted the exterior of our older home in Fort Thomas. Their communication, professionalism, and quality of work was amazing. The workers always showed up on time, worked all day, and completed the job in the timeframe that was provided in the beginning of the project. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with all aspects of the project. I highly recommend LVX to anyone looking to have their home painted!

Randall and his team were absolutely great every step of the way, from estimate, to color choice, to execution, and follow up. Randall did a great job of suggesting certain accents to help our 131-year-old home shine again. Once his team started the job, they went above and beyond in helping facilitate our indecisiveness until we found a color scheme that was perfect. I would absolutely recommend LVX if you have a historic home and want its former glory to come out again.

My wife and I would highly recommend LVX to anyone looking for a painter who stays on-schedule and on-budget, with great results. The LVX crew was thorough and professional from the start. The estimate process was very straightforward, and they worked with us to understand what we needed and made suggestions, while not pressuring us to do more than we needed. In the end, they were great about allowing us to add to the work scope, as we couldn't resist doing a little more.

We have a home in the East Row neighborhood in Newport, and had seen LVX signs several times in front of other job sites. We saw they did a great job historic, external painting and we weren't disappointed. They were able to get to our job very quickly, completed the work on-time and came in right at the number they quoted. Additionally, the crew that did the job were great. They were very courteous and professional. We have a very young child and they were very respectful.

If I could encapsulate LVX Painting in one word, it would be “professionalism.” We recently hired LVX to paint the exterior of our Victorian-era home. From estimation through completion, every aspect of the relationship was exceptional. They repaired rotten and damaged trim to like-new condition. They used highest-quality paint and materials. They worked quietly and constantly, and cleaned up daily. Their attention to detail was outstanding. The crew was unfailingly polite. They did more than asked, such as painting the mailbox and basement door.

I would highly recommend LVX painting! My experience with the owner and all the people working for him was a wonderful one. Randall and his team of painters are very honest, hard working and obviously proud of their craft. They had a large job to do, in painting the whole inside of my home, which is a church that was restored 20 or so years ago. They paid attention to the small and important details of the job which included painting the original ceiling, painting around original stain glass windows and around other historical aspects of the home. They carefully and professionally prepared all the surfaces they were to apply paint on before bringing out a brush, having to fix plaster cracks and drywall. They removed wallpaper in several of the rooms and were able to restore the walls so that there was no recognizable sign that any of them had ever been wallpapered. They were responsive to all my requests and went above and beyond reaching into areas of the home to paint that were extremely difficult to access. Any time I asked if something could be done they were willing to do their best to make that happen. I never heard the word, we can't do that... just we will try and see if that is possible. They always found a way to make it work out! I can't say enough about their meticulous attention to all aspects of the job and their desire to make sure I was pleased with the outcome!!

LVX painted our duplex apartment building in the Old Seminary Square historic neighborhood in Covington. The transformation has been outstanding, and we are very happy with LVX's work. The painters were prompt, professional, personable, and fun to talk to each day as we saw their progress and exchanged thoughts about colors, trim, etc. The owner Randall is also pleasant and knowledgeable, and easily reached by phone and email. He is happy to go over an estimate in detail, and I recommend doing so at the job site so that both parties share an understanding about the terminology and scope of work. When we had small adjustments to the project, Randall was very fair and accommodating. I certainly recommend them, and anticipate hiring LVX again in the future.

Randall and his team were wonderful. They took care of our historic Newport home and made its natural beauty shine! His painters were incredibly thoughtful and paid attention to the smallest details. They even took time to explain how they were painting to our young children. We look forward to working with LVX again!

Very pleased with Randall, his crew and the job they did on our house. We had some unusual issues that required special solutions and Randall had no difficulty figuring out how to accomplish what we wanted. His crew was polite, efficient, and very neat. This was the type of experience you would hope to have with a painting company.

Lvx painting if you need a house payment the inside or out I recommend you calling this company they are well very trained painters they do the job right on time the first time you don't have to get them to come back to second the owner and Randall Reese is very friendly and I recommend it if you need your house painted inside or out you call them they painted mine and oh my God it is beautiful

Unfortunately, our experience is not quite positive. We were satisfied with the workmanship, but have big issues with interior paint LVX applied.
We initially wanted to use Behr's Zero VOC in eggshell sheen (due to prior positive experience with this paint) but were told by LVX's sales person Eric that they use only Sherwin Williams products.
He strongly suggested using flat finishes although, having kids, we really wanted a more durable finish. We knew nothing of Sherwin Williams' paints. Eric said great things about paint they use - Pro Mar 200, and we agreed. You gotta trust the paint guy about paint, right?
Well, that was wrong! A few weeks after the painting was done, we realized that every single time we touch the walls, our hands would leave marks. Our hands are not dirty or greasy but that doesn't matter with Pro Mar 200. The hands leave marks that are impossible to remove. In fact, the attempt to remove the marks creates even bigger mess.
After this, we went to a local Sherwin Williams store to see what the problem was. We were told by one of their associates that Pro Mar 200 should never be used by homeowners since it's only recommended for apartment buildings and other low cost projects! News to us...
We tried to discuss this with Eric from LVX and his solution was for us to now use eggshell finish (after strongly suggesting we use flatter finishes) and spend another $800 (after already spending thousands) to have our walls repainted. Only this time, he said, we could use a paint of our choice. Wow! We wish he was this accommodating when we were discussing the project.
After our awful experience we refused to give LVX any more of our money. They promised to deliver a quality product and they failed. It was their responsibility to keep their word. We trusted them once, and this will certainly not happen again!
