Courtyard by Marriott Gulfport Beachfront

Here for the NRP leadership conference staying at the Marriott and Thomas at the front desk, is very kind. He addressed me each time I was leaving and coming back. He always has a smile on his face, and is just so personable. You don’t find people like him anymore. Thomas has made my stay so welcome. Marriott is very lucky to have such a kind, and gentle soul.
I had the king size room and it’s nice and clean with a desk and office chair (very important for my stay). Pool looks awesome although I didn’t get to use it because we stayed in February.
Cannot recommend this place enough!

In general it was a nice place to stay for a few nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A few of the light fixtures in the room were showing some age, but they work just fine. The bed was pretty comfortable, but the pillow wasn't great.

The bartender is a sweet lady who had over the top service. She made our stay super enjoyable.

Easy in/out plus awesome staff makes this a 5 star spot for us. The pool looked fun although we didn’t end us swimming. Lobby is a great place to hang with friends. Everyone looked happy at this spot!

Bonus: can you find the high water line for Hurricane Katrina in the lobby? Just unreal.

Great experience mostly because of a wonderful person named Sheena. Book for the location and book again for this good soul that runs the bar and more.

The hotel is a little older from what I could see, but they are remodeling the common areas and I am guessing rooms next. The rooms were a little worn, but adequate and the pricing was phenomenal to be across from the beaches. The staff was on point and the bar area was nice and the food was limited, but good. The trees out front were a great to look at as they reminded me of the beaches across the south. One side note is the rooms were spacious and if you are bringing a family for a beach trip you should have ample room for the kids.

Ms Sheena in the bistro treated us like family! The rooms are nice, the food is great, but NOTHING compares to the service! I've never felt more at home in a hotel! Thank you to the entire team!

Great location, great view, & great rooms. Staff was awesome considering they were swamped with Memorial Day crowd!

Room was clean and has everything needed. As with all Courtyards I stayed at, breakfast isn’t included, and never was. Only mentioned that cause someone put in a review earlier that they didn’t have complimentary Continental breakfast….. eye roll.

Food for breakfast was quick and tasty. If you don’t want hotel food there are several places close for breakfast lunch and dinner.

I would highly recommend staying here. Especially being literally across the street from the beach.

Great experience! The first thing that got me was waking in it smelt so good & clean, & it was that way all through the hotel. The room was very nice & clean, abs their amenities: pool, gym, lobby bar, etc. were just terrific bonuses. From the greeting at the door, to the thank you, come back soon, as I was leaving; the whole experience was fantastic! This is the place you want to stay at in this area!! Its close to everything & has a great view of the beach. Highly recommended!!👍👍

This location is pretty much close to everything you would want to do. Right down the street from The Mississippi Aquarium, ports, and great restaurants. The beach is right across the street. Beautiful morning views on the ocean side.

A great experience at this hotel. Very attentive by front desk staff at check in. What made the great experience was Nicole who was working the breakfast bistro. Her attention to detail and her desire to make sure we were satisfied with our meal was above what I have experienced at other hotels. Amazing employee.

We stayed for 13 days and the staff was very nice and helpful. We had a beach side view. The pool was nice to swim in.

Great Hotel in a Great location. The hotel is right across from the beach. The lobby is big and spacious. Lots of parking and only a few minutes walk from Shaggy's Grill which is wonderful. Rooms were clean and the air conditioner worked great. The Staff was very helful and nice which is welcoming after a long drive.

Super helpful staff. They gave me extra coffee pods and pillows without question. Very sweet staff.

We stay there every year during Crusin the Coast. The staff is ALWAYS so very helpful and courteous.

Happy with my stay! I visited for a business trip, but the hotel is right across from the beach, where there looked to be umbrella/chair rentals. It was close to several restaurants and less than 5 minutes from downtown. The lobby is beautiful, and the bistro/bar looked nice as well. There were a few minor cosmetic things in the room like a cracked tile in the shower but nothing that really impacts the experience. One elevator was out of order, but they were forthcoming with telling us and were apologetic. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful — great dinner recommendations too. I would definitely stay again for business or leisure!

The staff here has been amazing! They have helped us with getting all of room requests handled as quickly as possible. This is our second stay at this property. We will return.

All staff from the sales team to the front desk is awesome and always willing to help or answer questions.

The beach across the street is excellent, hundreds of feet of shallow perfect for toddlers or just sitting in. There's a jet ski and umbrella/chair rental place right across the street as well. Only negative is it would be nice if there was even a marked off crosswalk for crossing to the beach. The hotel pool and other amenities are also great.

We stayed 3 days. It is right on the beach. Gorgeous views!! The staff here is exceptional! From the front desk to the housekeeping. We slept in a couple mornings and never even heard the housekeeping staff cleaning other rooms. There were so quiet and kind. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The beds were super comfortable. This will be our go to from now on when we visit the gulf coast!!
