Alamo Inn

Stopped on business. Very pleased with the cleanliness and accommodations of the room. Easy check in. The bed and pillows were pretty soft but all else was exceptional. Room 112

Excellent place to stay, extremely clean and updated rooms.
Fast friendly service and very nice owners.

An experience I've never had before. To check in we called a number that's on the door. A Very friendly person answered. The room had mini refrigerator, microwave,an the room was clean.
Liked it there so much,on our way back home,we went back (out of our way) and stayed another night!

This Inn is NOTHING like it was years ago!! They have really fixed it up. The rooms are very clean, smelled nice and they had the room comfortably warm in both rooms I rented. The doors have codes instead of keys so you don't have to keep track of a key or only have 2 copies so that was nice. The phone is answered promptly and the gentleman I spoke with each time was very polite, personable and professional. Super impressed with it, especially for such a small town as Unionville, MO! Pricing was right on point I think it was $180ish after taxes and fee's. For 2 double rooms. Definitely recommend!! Also there was a hair dryer, ironing board and iron in each room which I miss a lot of hotel's doing. I NEVER remember to travel with an iron and routinely forget my blow dryer lol. Definitely pleasantly surprised 🙂

We recently spent two nights at the Alamo Inn and were pleased to discover it was one of our best experiences away from home. Our room was freshly redone, very spacious and clean. Kelly went out of his way to find us a room during a very busy season for him.

We were so pleasantly surprised with this little gem! Completely renovated, clean, quiet, and cozy! Communicated with the owners several times too before our stay and they were super friendly and helpful. When in town visiting family at Lake Thunderhead, we will absolutely stay here again!

I was born and raised about 40 miles from Unionville. This motel was built I'm guessing in the late 50's/early 60's when I was a kid. We have family all around NEMO area, this was the first time to stay here. When we opened the door we were amazed with the room, we have never stayed in such a clean room. Check-in and check-out so easy, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The only draw back is Unionville rolls up the sidewalks at dark ( lol ), but the room was very quite, no road noise from the highway, bed very comfortable, not as comfortable as my own, but we got a very good 2 nights sleep. If you are traveling through NEMO on Highway 136/5 and need a clean motel this is the one. Again, my hats off to the staff of Alamo Inn, we really enjoyed our stay with you.

I’m a road warrior and needed a clean place for the night in Unionville. Reviews were not wrong on this little gem. Loved the check in as they coded the room door for my arrival and texted me an e-receipt for my stay. Completely non contact. While small, the room was very clean and updated nicely with a comfortable king bed. Nice find in this small town with no large franchise hotels anywhere near. I’m a top tier rewards member with a well known hotel chain and would choose this over that brand if there was one around having stayed here. Family owned and felt like I was supporting their business. Other occupants at the Inn were quiet and respectful as well. Loved the history of the Inn posted on the wall with old family photos. Will stay again if in the area. Thank you for the experience.

Second time staying here. Rooms are very clean and updated. Everything was convenient from making the reservation to check-in. The owners are very friendly and responsive! This will be my go-to whenever we visit Unionville!!👍👍

The newly renovated room is really nice with all new fixtures in the bathroom, and modern decor. The linens are top notch, none of that scratchy stuff. WiFi and Satellite TV work great. Heating/cooling system worked well. Check in was simple. Will stay here again.

I loved that they texted me my room code so I could get right in. The room was beautiful and very clean. Loved having a ceiling fan in my room! Bed was very comfortable. I have not one complaint - all was wonderful!

We were in Unionville for a family reunion and stayed at the Alamo. We knew they had recently renovated the rooms so we were anxious to see the results. We were so impressed. From the quality finishes and fixtures to the heater in the bathroom and the switch labels, these folks didn’t miss a thing. Would definitely recommend.

I Love this place. It's Very clean, Cozy and Comphy bed. Love the updated cell phone / tablet outlets on Both sides of the bed. Don't see that much on my travels. The owner is very professional and plei to talk to 👍

Just as advertised! We only stayed one night here and if we were ever in the area we would definitely stay again. Place was clean and tidy. Check in process was simple. If anyone needs a place to stay on a road trip this place is perfect.

Clean & well maintained - the room was very clean and the bed was fantastic. The room I had didn't have a phone didn't have HBO or Cinamax but did have Dish tv and basic tv. Just a very good place to get some sleep.
