Singing River Gulfport

I was presented at Singing River Hospital-Gulfport location with an unexpected emergency. The wait wasn’t long and the ER staff, led by Dr. Justice, were pleasant and very professional. Dr. Justice patiently listened to my concerns and quickly went into action. This doctor and staff efficiently handled my situation with confidence and ease. Kudos to Dr. Justice, the nurses and support staff for being there for me. Because of their dedication, I was stabilized and released without being admitted! Kudos to all who attended to my care. I received five star treatment from everyone that dealt with me, the reception staff, the lovely lady who took my details, triage, the gentleman that x rayed my foot, the nursing assistant and the NP that dealt with me were all highly skilled, professional, helpful, courteous and caring. The treatment was excellent and the wait was negligible. I left feeling considerably better than when I arrived. Thank you everyone.

We had to go to the ER while visiting the area from out of town. With the exception of the front desk ER attendant everyone was incredibly friendly and we received excellent care. Highly recommend.

I have not been to my apt yet BUT I just spoke with Sheila and she was soooo beyond polite and accommodating. Much better than my bad experience with a different surgical office !

If I could give 10 stars I would after going to another local hospital where they did not care I came here to the Emergency Room. First it was very clean and the staff was caring and Professional from start to finish. The entire staff in the Emergency Room acted concerned and caring. My Dr/NP Michael checked on me throughout my visit and the nurse Laura was very attentive. I hope these people are recognized for the excellence in the care they give to others. Thank You.

Absolutely the best emergency room staff. I've never been shown such amazing care and compassionate help anywhere I've ever been. I never leave reviews but I was just so blown away by the whole experience and felt like I needed to do this. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. ❤

I received very fast and excellent service in the ER!!! I did not wait longer than 5 mins to get to the back. From the time i walked in to check in the lady at the front desk was nice and quick. The staff that took my vitals were great. When I made it to the ER room my nurses were there as soon as I walked in. Several staff came to bring me water for my ultrasound and the Ultrasound tech even came in to speak to me. The lady that verified my insurance was pleasant. I felt very special and cared for. The ER day shift was awesome!! Thanks to everyone. I hope these individuals are recognized some how because businesses don't do enough of that these days. Thanks Singing River!

I happened to take my daughter here for an issue just this week that ended up requiring emergency surgery to fix. All of the staff we encountered were kind and treated my daughter with respect, from start to finish. From the time we walked in the door, to getting her labs drawn, ct scan done and read, getting her into surgery, and leaving to go home that day, ultimately took a total of 5.5 hours. I’ve waited in waiting rooms for that long! I am so impressed and glad we choose this ER. Dr. Scheller and her team were so efficient when it came to everything and still managed to answer all of our questions and put us at ease (this being my daughters first surgery, and an urgent one at that, had really scared her. They were so patient and made sure to keep everything positive and upbeat). Everything went well, and my daughter is currently recovering and doing well. They made what could have been a terrible and devastating situation into a much smoother and simpler issue that was taken care of quickly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Both staff and procedures were excellent. I was very impressed with the attitude of the attendants in preparation for my operation and afterward also. However, apparently there were problems with scheduling. I arrived as directed at 8:15 and was promptly bedded and given an IV. Then I lay there for nearly 5 hours until I was taken into surgery at 1:00 PM. I am 86 and typically short of patience, but because I assumed there was good reason for the delay, I waited quietly. My blood pressure did, however, rise by the hour. Again, your facility and staff were excellent. Thank the attendants for me, please. Charles Gray

My boyfriend was in there for 6 days this week. Mostly great service. Tyler on the 2nd floor, perfect!! The cleaning lady Erica on the 2nd floor, excellent job!!!! Thank you for saving his life!!!!

I saw my primary doctor today for severe back and stomach pain..he thought i might have a kidney stone so he sent me directly to.the ER. I was in extreme pain when i arrived. Everyone was so nolice and helful. Jeffrey who got me set up in my room, Kailkyn my nurse, Kyler the ER tech and Dr Funk. After lab work and numerous tests and IV meds my pain went.from a 8-9 down yo a.4. Thank you to all of them for helping me, keeping me informed constantly about what tests were being run and for the eplaining in detail.my diagnosia. Highly recomend thia ER.

These people honestly saved my life when I couldn't breathe at all, AMR rushed to me and the nurses and doctors here were kind, compassionate and incredibly caring. They've helped restore my faith in the medical system. Thank yall for everything 🙏❤

I had the most amazing birth experience at Garden Park! I can not say enough great things about the amazing nurses who took care of me during my stay. Each one respected my wishes and went by my birth plan. The lactation specialists were amazing as well, I learned so much. I am so grateful for the delivery team that helped bring my baby girl to the world! HIGHLY recommend having your baby here!

I found myself with a gash in my arm from a nail in our privacy pence last Saturday, and I couldn’t stop the bleeding with pressure. I drove myself to the Garden Park ER to get checked out. They explained the license scan check in, and got me back in 10 minutes for triage/vitals. The nurse was sweet and we had a good chat for a few minutes. Then I was taken to the back for my tetanus booster (which that nurse administered like a champ - didn’t even feel her give it). Dr. Rehor numbed my arm, cleaned it thoroughly, and put 3 stitches in. He was also very personable and friendly. It’s always nice to feel that medical folks taking care of you care about you, and that was my experience at Garden Park. Go back to have the stitches taken out tomorrow!

I’ve had two separate interactions with Garden Park and each experience was better than expected.

Last summer, I was involved in an auto accident; I was at a completed stop at a red light and the. come one rear-ended me going about 20mph. My mom took me immediately to the emergency department of Garden Park. Every single nurse or doctor we interacted with we so friendly and genuinely cared. I had to have a series of scans done. Absolutely no wait in between tests.

This year I was involved in yet another auto accident. Another vehicle pulled out in front of me, causing me to t-bone them. The ambulance took us to the nearest ER, which wasn’t Garden Park. This injury was more serious than the first injury. The staff at this ER was shorthanded and rude. After evaluation, I scheduled an MRI at Garden Park. We visit was great! It was my first time having an MRI. All the staff and volunteers were so kind and helpful. I even got a little goodie bag from the doctor after my MRI.

I had both a follow-up mammogram and ultrasound. Both Esther and Jeannie were professional and gentle. My previous mammogram with Ashley went well also. From the receptionist greeting to the scheduling check-in and wait times, I was completely satisfied. Nice staff at Garden Park!

My first trip to the hospital was amazing. I had a mammogram and a bone density test. Esther was professional and caring. She made my exam both comfortable and pain free. I will definitely come back for my other exams and also let my friends know.

It was a very nice visit. I was the only patient at the time. I was treated very well from the initial stage through the surgery. The surgery team were outstanding. They made me feel so comfortable. The
outpatient nurse was very professional and nice. I couldn’t have been treated nicer. Thank you for
taking such good care of me. My surgery went well thanks to Dr Thriffiley and his team.
