I had an outstanding experience at The Chimneys on Friday night.

Making a reservation online was easy and I opted to sit on the patio. Morgan was an excellent server. Her service was welcoming, pleasant, knowledgeable, cheerful and she made the whole experience very comfortable.

I had the snapper that was featured for the evening. It was absolute perfection. Served piping hot, very flavorful, and tasted very fresh. The Mississippi Mud Cake was decadent and a great treat.

Morgan was thoughtful and considerate of pacing for my meal, ensuring that each course came out at the perfect time.

The view, surrounded by trees and being able to see the water, made this a great way to enjoy a peaceful Friday night out on my own. Towards the end of my meal I was greeted by the restaurant’s (very polite, well-behaved and not intrusive) outdoor cat who lazily made his rounds on the floor.

Overall, a lovely experience. I would highly recommend this as a great place for a romantic date night or a special occasion.

Arrived at Chimneys and found out it was reservation only. The host did her best to get us a table regardless. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was Lexy and was a 5 star server in our book. Food was a 5 star meal. I recommend this restaurant to anyone local or visiting.

Food always good and nice presentation. The service Tuesday night was great. Our group of four decided to sit on the porch and enjoy the gorgeous view.

Exceeded expectations! A truly wonderful dining experience that won't disappoint.

Reservations are not required, but highly recommended as this restaurant gets very busy and for good reason.

Every dish has a "wow" factor and is absolutely delicious.

Service is top notch.

Upscale atmosphere that is warm and inviting.

View of the ocean can be seen through the front windows (from a majority of the tables), or from the front porch dining area.

Parking is limited. If the parking lot is full, then the restaurant will probably be also.

I wish we had discovered this place on our first day of vacation instead of our last. Otherwise, we would have eaten here multiple times during our visit. We will return on our next visit to this area.

Family members had a wonderful meal on the evening of February 6 at The Chimneys. The food and atmosphere was excellent, but maybe the best experience we had was the service provided by our server, Ruth. Her service could not have been better and her suggestions, when we asked for her advice was spot on. She made a wonderful evening even better. Thanks Ruth!

We sat on the porch, looking out over the gulf. It was beautiful! It was a bit chilly, but the server ensured that I had not only one heater but 2 to keep me warm! The food was fabulous....seafood eggplant and the seafood omelet with mimosas!!!! Fine dining at its best....

Arrival to this restaurant was pretty difficult. If you don't know where restaurant is located GPS will take you pass the restaurant by one turn. We're ended up in Salute parking lot. We had to ask for directions from people. Found it!
Restaurant is a beautiful big old house with large porch that you can dining in. Walked in to a hostess asking if we had a reservation. We did not but it was still plenty of tables available. No wait time. After we got seated our waitress was with us within minutes.
They serve you a warm French bread with butter while you wait for you're food. Food didn't take long to cook. Everything tastes amazing! You can tell all of the seafood was fresh! Great experience!
Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately when you Google "Gourmet Breakfast" in Mississippi Waffle House and McDonalds comes up.

Thankfully I looked deeper and found this place to have brunch. I ordered the crab cakes and fried eggs, a side of bacon, and a side of cheese grits. Everything was tasty beyond expectations. And I say that because locally there aren't a lot of options for a decent breakfast. This place is definitely worth a visit for sure.

Our server Bryan was attentive, informative, and our food arrived promptly and with complimentary mimosas!

Go here.

Fine dining in a historic setting with many seafood options. Spanish artichoke dip was delicious but the steak and trout was exemplary. Mary Francis was outstanding with her service, especially helpful with recommendations for our kids. Great views too.

Always a great meal and cozy comfortable location. The fireplace adds warmth and ambiance in the winter.
The surf and turf, photo attached, is always cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Superb meal. They are smart casual but had no problem letting us in dressed casually as we had spent the day on the beach.

The staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. As to the meal all I can say is it was better than good. I even had my first Mississippi Mud Cake in Mississippi

We have eaten at the Chimneys at least 10 times, including having our wedding with 35 guests.

EVERY VISIT HAS BEEN SUPERB in terms of service, quality of food, cocktails, and fair prices.

Best dishes are their fried crab claws, trout almadine, and wonderful French bread!

Has a cozy, and warm feel making you feel welcomed and taken care of. This may be the best restaurant on the gulf coast.

We chose this based on reviews, our initial start when we got seated was horrible. Upon asking for a new server our visit turned around immediately. Our waitress was very attentive, and gave recommendations. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. We definitely will visit again when back in the area.

We went for Sunday brunch and loved everything they had to offer. The location and restaurant are upscale and beautiful. The food was upscale, very well prepared and delicious. Our server was friendly, professional and attentive. Everything I would expect from a higher end restaurant. Very well done! Looking forward to our next visit.

We have eaten dinner here twice while on the coast and both times the food and service was excellent. We made reservations and have never had a wait. The location is beautiful, right across from the beach. Would highly recommend dining outside if it isn’t too hot. The menu has lots of fresh seafood options. We had the seared tuna appetizer and sautéed crab claws, both delicious. My husband got the special, which I think was stuffed redfish. I had the crabmeat Chimneys and it was great! We had 2 creme brûlée for dessert because it was so good we didn’t want to share. We will definitely be back again.

Atmosphere is a bit posh but perfect for a romantic date or someone specials birthday.
Everything I had was absolutely divine. From my water to the dessert.
I had mint water which was a new experience for me was a light refreshing experience with great quality water.
I had the spinach and artichoke dip to start was creamy with so much flavor, splash of lemon enhanced it to another layer of flavor, the bread you spread it on is flavorful as well adding another step to the dish.
The gumbo was flavorful and rich with seafood.
Have crab claws, shrimp, and to my knowledge crawfish. The rice served was overcooked or too sticky so it blended well to the gumbo.
Keylime pie with strawberries was a light and refreshing dessert. Was nice to end with something light after alot of heavy creamy entrées. Was honestly the best key lime pie had in a long time. Wasnt to sour and was some how creamy. Would definitely go back again. Lovely servers as well.

AMAZING BRUNCH! Their brunch entree options are great. The Crab Cakes are some of the best I’ve had. And the BEST bread! One of the best Sunday Brunch experiences on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!

Brenda was our awesome server. She was very informative and interesting when we questioned her about the building, she even shared pictures. The food was delicious especially the seafood Gumbo omg, fried shrimp. My husband had an oyster poboy and the French bread was crunchy. We will definitely be going bach there soon .
