Despite the reviews posted here, Michelle was very professional and very understanding when my flights got cancelled. Nifty Car people are getting not deserved bad press on here!

Friendly and helpful staff, worked out fine for my TDY. Try to land before 4pm and they can shuttle you to the pickup location with a phone call.

Good people, easy in and out while there for TDY. Very helpful getting me to and from the airport, as well as accommodating my unique luggage needs

Customer service was great! Car was great! Really enjoyed working with this company while I was on Orders.

Independently owned! Staff was friendly and understanding. Booked via Priceline, stated unlimited mileage... this is false. Please read their (ACE) terms. Unlimited local mileage for round trip airline ticket holders... not me, use rental to drive to other states on business. Non ticket holders, 150 miles and the $.25 per mile afterwards, still all local. Also, location is not in Airport, just down the street. You have to call and they pick you up. This was fast, withing 5 mins after getting to their central line. Very understanding that I had to cancel my reservation, and gave me a ride back to the airport. ACE, as an entity needs to market themselves correctly, change reservation to show not at airport, call for pickup and list mileage appropriately. Do not put it hidden in terms and agreements. Staff was still very friendly and understanding. It's a mom & pops style business, stop holding them to an executive level business standard.

first vehicle given had a lot of mechanical and cosmetics issues/damages. Got the vehicle almost empty. Went to a gas station to filled it up and the car didn’t want to start. Tried to start it again and the car started shaking and eventually turned call. Called the office and was told they can replace it for a small car but I said I’ll keep it and it does the same thing again, I would get the smaller one. The vehicle old and dirty. The next day, while driving the Engine light came one and called the office immediately. They came with the smaller car and took the full side car that I paid for. The smaller and replacement car given had a lot of dirty and brown/red spots on the roof and by the passenger holder handler (roof). My dad joke my said that somebody probably got shot or cut in the car. Thanked god I didn’t have any issues with the smaller car for the remaining 2 days.

At end of rental, we change the rate from a full size to a compact size, got refunded the difference. The lady was very friendly and helpful.

Overall, I’m glad things work out but I would rent from another place that have newer, clean, and working cars, even if you have to pay a little extra for it. Too cheap isn’t always good.

Not NO BUT HECK NO!!!!! If Google had a negative (-) 5 STAR rating these guys would get it. The most worthless and UNPROFESSIONAL business I have EVER dealt with. Like I always tell my adult kids "if its too good to be true it AIN'T". I should have known better! Horrible customer service and the guy I called lied to me all day and then HUNG UP on me at an hour before they close...are you kidding me!!!!!! NOT worth saving an extra $5.00 or $10.00 a day. P.S.Thier offsite lot and rental center is a dump and should be condemned. Hope this helps folks! NEXT PLEASE

This is not the place to rent a car if you are traveling on the government's dime. The lady is nice. But I think I was given someone's personal old vehicle. It smelled, it was dirty, and it had a broken seat. I did not feel safe or comfortable. Even the location of the business looks suspect. I promptly voided reservations and was able to get a rental from airport.

I had a reservation last week at Gulfport with Ace (Nifty) Car rental. Their service was terrible . They gave us the ugly, dirty, broken, old car that I never seen in my life. Definitely I won’t come back to this place. Actually NO MORE business with this rental company.
Are they suppose to give customer a nice car so customer can come back to give them more business?
I don’t understand why they did that to us.

Worst rental place ever!! Booked online, and when I got there the next morning, they were suppose to open at 9am and at 935am, I was still waiting. Canceled and went with Enterprise instead

DO NOT RENT HERE! The worst rental car experience we’ve ever had. They are not actually located at the Gulfport airport and you have to be picked up. It took over an hour to complete the rental agreement. Michelle advised not eating in the car (ridiculous) to avoid cleaning charges, but the car wasn’t clean to begin with. We returned the car on the 7th and did not get the deposit returned until the 24th!! I’ve rented plenty of other times and always receive my deposit immediately. When I called to check on the status of the deposit a week after returning the vehicle Michelle stated 7-10 business days and that our deposit was “in the stack to be processed”. Not to mention they are open on the weekends so Saturdays and Sundays should technically count as business days. The only positive experience was with the guy who picked us up from the airport otherwise this place is a nightmare.

Do not use this place. They advertise a low price online; however, when you arrive they nickel & dime you and you'll end up paying even MORE than reputable rental car agencies. They don't tell you, but ti rent a car from this location you must already have full coverage insurance on your personal car and they don't offer insurance to purchase. Arrived at the airport and was told to call Ace for a courtesy shuttle to Ace's lot, they never answer the phone and I ended up having to use Lyft to get there. Told I'd get my deposit back on my credit card 8-10 days after returning the vehicle; day 13 and they still haven't returned my deposit. Again, do mot use this place.

The worst..... 1.30 pm pick up... ace car rental has me stranded at gpt airport ... they pull up at 3.00pm with a dirty , dented. Pet hair piece of sh car ... its 👎 now 4 pm I'm still strande.. d,, need problems in your life...call ACE car rental Gulfport Mississippi
