I received the much needed help I required. The stay was a lot better than imagined and easier. Most were very caring and concerned for my well being. It didn't seem like just a job for most staff but a call or giving back. It felt safe. As with anywhere howhere some staff are better than others! (Sabrina. Brent. There's a male nurse I liked and a short female nurse) Loved all of them! The out patient therapy if you happen to go, I cannot speak highly enough of. Kejsha and Beth are amazing! Keisha has helped me immensely! I cannot thank their staff enough. All of them that have played a role in helping me from the Dr, the nurses, the staff,all the way to the cafeteria staff and the janitorial. They all played a part in my stay and helped. Thank you.

I have been fortunate to have utilized Gulfport Behavioral for my mental health needs. I not only achieved the outcome of what I was looking for, I was blessed to have the staff that genuinely wanted to help me. Mr. Richard is the military coordinator and he's goes above an beyond to keep you in the loop with your command. He will always stop what he's doing to listen to a member's needs and concerns. I can't thank him enough. Next, I would like to make a shout out to the Techs and the Nursing staff. Mr. Brent has always been a great tech he's not overbearing and expresses daily that he still works because he wants to help people become better. Lastly Ms. Shelly is a nurse whom always takes the time to explain your medicines and watches out for you physical health 24-7. She has a calming effect that every patient would say. So to wrap this up, I believe almost every staff member is an angel sent to help those in need and going through tough times. Thank you again.

Gulfport Behavioral Health saved me. An NA friend refferred me to Dean Doty. Mr. Doty worked with me one on one to insure that my detox (130mg methadone) was possible. He guided me every step of the way.

I can't express enough, in words, my gratitude towards Dean and his staff!

During my stay certain staff members shone like the sun and deserved to be recognized.

Colleen Hughes - extraordinary woman, highly intelligent and highly compassionate and absolutely professional. Her bedside manner is unparalleled.

To Lesia G. - Brent, a tech from hall 1. He goes above and beyond his duties and is an absolute workhorse. He made my stay so much easier. He's loved by the patients and always manages to get a smile from them.

Allen from Rec. Therapy - True Gem. The man has so much spirit and positivity that it flows from him and into the patients.

Alasha "Lay" Exemplary service, absolute professional. Heart of gold that brightens the facility. During my stay she went above and beyond in her duties. Lay is sharp as a tack and extremely efficient and capable.

Last but not least,
Harmony S. - Extremely efficient nurse and supervisor. Highly intelligent and a huge heart. Thank you Harmony.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Gulfport Behavioral Health, they have essentially saved my life.

Just got home today and decided to write a review of the place well I was terrified at first till I realized that everybody there was pretty nice my fave techs were Mrs.T and Mrs.J they are the best the food is the best they really do treat us very well I got the help I needed my real name is Jami Mosley and I'm telling you guys all these bad reviews are not true everyone is kind and care about the patients a lot I would definitely recommend this place to everyone the only thing i did not like was quiet time it drove me crazy some people like it because all it is is 2 hours in your room with your roommate and its not that bad if you have a roommate because you two can talk but if you don't and you can't fall asleep then you are stuck staring at the ceiling for two hours while the techs change shifts and do reports to the next shift techs but other than that this place is great i was in the adolescent unit and my fave things were TR which is fun when we have a free day and when we do art yoga etc. they also offer pet therapy which sadly i missed because the people who own the dogs are on vacation. In summary this place offers a great support system they offer great therapy and they really helped me a lot I feel like things in life will start looking up for me a lot. Anybody who sees this review if you ever go and you see Mrs.T tell her Jami Mosley says hi and I miss her smile.

As someone who spent almost a week here I have to say it was extremely helpful I absolutely loved ms.harmeny as a nurse and the 3 techs who deserve much kudos r Elizabeth, Brent, and Juan they were honestly I believe sent by the gods and r amazing ppl to have as techs on the adult side I'm hoping I don't have to go back but if I do ik I won't be judged by Elizabeth Brent or harmony

Thank you for being a great staff my wife is here in this center and so far it's been great I Just want to think y'all for all you guys or doing I just feeling down never spend time apart from my wife it's hard to sleep I just cry myself to sleep overnight baby stay strong you got this just remember I'm here 100% love you until death do us apart can wait to hold you and look in yo beautiful eyes. Come home baby and once again than you guys for everyone I appreciate your helping out!!!!!

This place is amazing. Absolutely life changing for our foster child. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Really great experience and you can tell the staff truely cares. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing ms Morgan there for years. I've never had a problem with anyone there. Everyone has always been very kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

The staff here are so helpful and I really enjoyed the food so much . Ms.kristin and ms.stina were my favorite in out patient care. Stina is amazing!!!

I felt really depressed I just left there and it was not it I was trying to kill myself and they didnot care but only the staff members i was literally crying in the car cause this is not right but I have the right to speak for myself I love yall..

The staff was amazing and helped me every step of the way.
