Best Chinese food in the area. Get past the decor and realize it's the food that matters. I've never had a disappointing dish from No.1. Everything is fresh and prepared well. Personally, I've never had a bad customer service experience here.

No 1 Chinese Restaurant is an absolute gem when it comes to affordable eats! When it's the two of us, we usually drop around $20 to $30, and sometimes even more if we're thinking leftovers for the next day. But let me tell you, it's worth every penny.

Now, their fried chicken wings? Legendary. Seriously, they've got the best in all of Pitt County [Step aside Bojangles and KFC]! And our go-to order, without fail, is the sesame chicken combo, house lo mein, and a variety of their sides. The best part? They're lightning fast, always ready in just 10-15 minutes, no matter how much we order. Talk about impressive!

They have excellent food that I have loved eating for the past 18 years.

My husband and I have been ordering from here for about five years now. We order the general tso chicken combo with lo mein and crab rangoons. We have never had any issues and they are inexpensive and FAST! Very convenient when ordering last minute take out.

The wings were very good tonight! Very good not greasy or cooked to fast! I left a tip. The lady that answered the phone was very patient as I was trying to figure out my order even over the language barrier.

Please cook the wings and rice the same way as tonight. Crispy and fresh tasting! Did not taste like they were pre cooked. Looked light brown not dark and greasy. I ordered wings rice and a large egg drop soup! Please dont change I will be there once or twice a week. Thank you!

Love at first site and taste. Me and my husband enjoyed our food. We are from Baltimore and this is our first back home reminder of Chinese food (Wow taste remind us of back home) we will be visiting y'all more often. Thanks for the great experience. Friendly staff.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. We had the local favorite of fried chicken wings, chicken and mushrooms (only), won ton soup and the chicken and pork fried rice. Looks like I'll be driving to Winterville more often.
