Absolutely phenomenal. Beyond expectations. Never judge a book by its cover. The outside is not the prettiest but their food is great!!! So so good I got the honey chicken combo and my girlfriend and her mother loveeeeed the orange chicken. 9/10 would recommend!

Drive from Bardstown to get their food! Food is always fresh and hot. I pick up at the drive-thru, and my order is always correct!

I had beef w/ Chinese veggies... so frigging good.. steamed dumpling was perfect...wonton soup was best ever had..I'm ordering again today

Excellent food!!! I didn't expect much , but I was highly impressed! It is a very plain looking restaurant with delicious food!

Ignore the outside! It looks off-putting on the outside, but don't let that get in the way. I had to do a double take and check reviews when I pulled up, but the inside and food are great. I tried out the General Tso's and the crab rangoon - and I feel good about the odds of everything on that menue being great!

Great food and wonderful people. Wontons are the best, and our go-to is the sweet and sour shrimp and garlic chicken…but, honestly, everything has been awesome!

Absolutely amazing food and the service is top notch as well. It took us a long time to try China Cafe because we already had a restaurant in town we enjoyed. However, I found out they would deliver and we have been eating there regularly ever since. The food is truly amazing. At first glance it appears to be the same type of cuisine as any other Chinese diner, but it definitely doesn’t taste like it. If you haven’t tried it my family highly recommends you do.

The sweet and sour chicken can be a bit big sometimes. But it's always good - and usually has enough nuggets sized peices to satisfy a picky child.

Just ate there for the first time. I ordered several of the lunch specials: hunan chicken, chicken with broccoli and mixed vegetable extra spicy. Everything was fantastic. This will be my new go-to for Chinese.

I love Chinese food and eat at many different restaurants. China Cafe in Mt. Washington is my favorite by far. The food always is full of flavor, great egg rolls, my favorite Kung Pao Chicken has just the right level of heat and the white rice is always cooked just right. The staff is always extremely friendly and courteous.

I have been a costumer of China Cafe since 2014. They always have great food and have given great service. You can order online and pick it up at the drive thru... I do miss the delivery service.

Always had great food! Comes hot and fairly quick. Staff is friendly and owners are great! Place is clean and welcoming. Been eating here for years and highly recommend it!

The food and service was excellent! Besides being a bit busy when I came, the employees were apologetic and attempted to give me the best service they could offer despite being short handed. The food was high quality and hot. I will definitely return.

We are new to the area and tried China Cafe (carry-out) for the first time today. Food was very good, piping hot, and included a complimentary order of Crab Rangoon. We will definitely be back!

I placed an order over the phone today and asked the sweet lady if I could just pick it up in the drive-thru (since I have a lil guy with me and it's a pain to just get him out and strapped back in to get food inside). She told me that would be fine,and it would be ready in ten minutes. We arrived in the drive-thru within ten minutes, and the food was ready. She was the nicest lady, (excellent customer service) already had utensils, napkins, and sauces ready to go in the bag too.

When we got home, I checked it all, and every bit of our order was accurate (including my son's "no onion" in his chicken fried rice). I asked for the sesame chicken to be made non-spicy (it shows it as spicy on their menu), and she had no problem fulfilling that request either! All of our food was accurate, hot, and fresh!

The crab rangoon was SOOO good. Let me just tell you, I'm very picky with crab rangoon too. They were smaller in size, and full of a sweeter cream cheese/crab mixture. They reminded me a lot of the crab rangoon at Max Orient in the Jefferson Mall - very delicious! They are the crab rangoon style where the mixture is placed in the direct center/bottom, and the rest of the wrapper gets pinched up at the top (my fave style). I've been to others where the rangoon was a triangular shape, and I'm not a big fan of those. They were super light and crispy too. Cannot say enough about how good they were, and I wish I had bought more!

The sesame chicken was wonderful It was the standard breaded chicken pieces covered with a sweet sauce and topped with sesame seeds. Yum! There were several broccoli pieces to accommodate the chicken as well as fried rice, a standard cabbage egg roll, and a fortune cookie. My son loved his chicken fried rice. He got seconds. He was also a fan of the wonton soup and wanted more when he was finished with his. They had placed 3 pork (I believe) dumplings in the bottom of his wonton soup, and he isn't a fan of noodles, so he refused to even try those, but I'm sure they were wonderful too.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience - excellent customer service, convenient, fast, accurate, affordable, and delicious. Cannot wait to go back! Just in case anyone is wondering, they do dine-in, carry-out, drive-thru, and even delivery for local orders. you can even order online too should you not feel like calling it in.
