Silver Creek Golf Club

This ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating is for the overall golfing experience. The course is challenging especially for someone who is use to flatter terrain. The views are fantastic, this course is pleasing to the eyes. The service from everyone I encountered was friendly and accommodating. This is owned by two lovely couples and they love the game, it shows every where. Papa's grill was great, good local brews on tap and the food was good. Not to mention that the owners were tending bar on both visits. The hospitality and service were outstanding. Come and play this course and experience the hospitality and great golf for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I will be back!!

Played here today for the first time 54$(Friday) for a beautiful course in great condition super quick greens and very challenging we did notice several cups that were raised around the edges preventing several putts that would normally drop but nothing major we will definitely be back to this gem

Today was my first visit to this excellent facility. Although I didn't have the opportunity to play the golf course, several of my dear friends (ex State Troopers) and I met to fellowship with each other in the club house. The food, service and welcoming hospitality was terrific and exceeded our expectations. Several of us are planning to return to play the course and once again enjoy the great food and service.

Nice course with great views. It was cloudy today, but still great views. Course seemed to be in good to great shape. The staff was friendly. There are a lot of bunkers on the course. Only a handful of them hand sand in them. If you land in one with sand, you better know how to play out of it. I thought I did but I struggled getting out of the sand trap. I would recommend this course if you've never played it. It could use some work but still I'm great shape. Well worth the money playing thru the week.

An absolutely beautiful course. Scenic views on every hole and challenging par 3s with little left to be desired. All around service was amazing from the club house and snack bar to the grounds keepers. The practice was in great condition and really allowed for the honing of a swing. The greens where as soft as a memory foam mattress when attacking the green and offered a lot of spin on the ball, and the greens ram true to their lines. My only problem was a few players forgetting to pick divots but that’s not the courses fault. All around great place to play a Saturday round. Will be coming back again soon

Had a last minute change and was lucky to get a tee time for our first day of playing this course. What a great trak with greens that are lightning fast and quite challenging. Do yourself a favor and give it a day to remember .Great views of the valley and mountains.

Beautiful course! I traveled from Charlotte with co-workers for a golf outing. We enjoyed the views of the mountains in the background for the majority of the course. Very good course layout that makes it challenging. Plenty of fun holes, including a look down Par 3, that gives the course character. It will definitely make you think one shot ahead. The course was in good condition, just needs some work on the bunkers, but it looks like their in the process of making those changes. Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. If I lived closer I would consider membership.

What a nice golf course! If you are travelling via I40 through Morganton to the mountains from the Raleigh or Charlotte area, you owe it to yourself to stop and play Silver Creek Plantation. Be prepared for a good bit of elevation changes, nice scenery and very reasonable prices!

Played in Member / Guest with a good friend. One of the best and most organized tournaments I have been a part of. Top notch and the course was in great condition. Very nice and fun greens.

Always a fun and challenging round. The staff has done a great job of bringing this course back and it's only a matter of time before it's in pristine condition. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Views are magnificent, some of the best in Burke County.

Out here on a vacation from Arizona and got to play a round with my brother in law. Course and scenery were beautiful, some sand traps under construction. It's not a big deal at all. All personnel we encountered were nice and helpful with any questions. From the pro shop, snack shop, grounds keepers, and fellow golfers. If I lived closer, I would definitely come back and play again.

Great golf course, great food and restaurant. The sub sandwiches are excellent. The friendly people that work there are always the best too.

Pretty nice golf course. My son and I really enjoyed ourselves it's in good shape and reasonably priced. Update.....I truly meant to give this 5 stars from the beginning and accidentally hit 4. There was nothing that could have been any better as it was absolutely awesome.

First time at Silver Creek yesterday. Beautiful facilities, courses, friendly staff, very good food, great views, and just a very fun day. Spent two hours here longer than I initially meant to just because of how much fun we were having.
