I’ve been on the hunt for furniture for some time now, and every salesperson I’ve encountered simply won’t just let me shop…. But John Hobbs at Jillian’s is warm and friendly but lets you know upfront that you’ve got room to shop at your leisure, to provide you with a hassle free experience. He is the most informative and honest I’ve encountered during this endeavor and I can honestly say, if I shop locally for furniture I will only purchase from him. He has your best interest in mind and the honesty he brings to the table is unmatched for this reason alone is why Jillian’s will get my continued business.

If I can possibly put a hundred stars on this review, I would mostly definitely highlight them all. Our last experience at Jilian's a few years ago was great but this past Monday was exceptionally amazing and extremely comfortable and inviting. This would not have been possible without the expertise, knowledge, hard work, help and stellar customer care from Mr. John Hobbs. We were definitely able to get everything that we have been looking for a few weeks now. Just a few days ago we had some unexpected things come up and we needed to reschedule a delivery date and I was fortunate to get in contact with Mr. John and explain what was going on. He continue to be amazing, understanding, kind, professional, patient and help us change a new delivery date. Thank you so much Mr. John for creating the BEST and stress free experience for our family. Blessings!

For my wife and I, the search for our new sectional sofa concluded at Jillian’s. After perusing a number of other stores before we arrived there, we were immediately impressed with the layout and staging of the store. The staff was warm and inviting yet perfectly low-key, letting us browse the sofas and talk things through before approaching us about making a purchase. John was immensely helpful once we had made a decision. He explained all the possible options for the couch we chose to ensure we were buying exactly what we intended. We are impressed with the staff and service of Jillian’s and will certainly return for more of our furniture needs.

John is amazing! He was kind and attentive. He was there to help me find THE couch and NOT just sell me anything just to say he made a sale. He made furniture shopping much more enjoyable. Hands down the guy to go to for ALL your furniture needs! 1 million/10 would recommend to anyone! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I felt I had a lot of questions and John was extremely patient with me. When I couldn’t come into the store because of my schedule, he made sure when I was available that someone was there to help me when I was able to swing by and check out furniture. I ended up getting an entire bedroom suite and a sofa (I absolutely LOVE both). He also was very honest about a few bedroom suites that I had selected and gave me his honest opinion about the quality of the furniture instead of just trying to make a sale. He was even available after work hours to answer any questions I had and even on his days off. It is obvious that he really cares about the customer and he’s also funny to follow on Facebook. If you ever have the chance, I recommend adding him as he’s a funny guy 😂👍🏻 But seriously, ask for John…he was awesome !

Great store with an exceptional salesman in John Hobbs. He wants to make you happy. He wants you to want him, but it's no cheap trick. It's a genuine need to make his shoppers into a most loyal army of repeat customers.

Stopped by this furniture a couple weeks ago looking for a new couch. I was greeted by John Hobbs. I myself have been in the furniture business for years and let me tell you. John’s customer service is outstanding! He doesnt push you into buying and gives you time to actually look around and get familiar with the store and product. He gives great advice on what would look well in the room and knows the product well. He had earned our business!

Stopped in the other day just to look ,and happened to meet with John Hobbs. He is awesome! Very down to earth , hilarious, and super professional! We were looking at getting some furniture for our nursery as well as potentially some bedroom furniture. He was there every step of the way to help with our tight budget(just had a baby) as well as trying to find things that fit our style. Highly recommend working with John if you need ANYTHING!

Finding the right piece of furniture has always been a difficult task, made even more difficult by the COVID pandemic. Now you have to worry about finding the piece you like and ensuring it’s in your price range AND is available in a reasonable amount of time. However, John Hobbs at Jillian’s made shopping much less stressful! My husband and I walked in looking for a sectional (we had just moved and were on a tight budget) and had just had the hardest time finding a reasonably priced piece that we actually liked. When we were greeted by John, he immediately listened to our needs/wants without trying to push any sort of deal. He genuinely understood our concerns and assured us that he could help us find what we were looking for. He was professional, kind, genuine, and really worked hard to to find us what we were looking for (whether it was there on the floor or not). I truly appreciated him taking the time to understand us as people first. I felt zero pressure to commit to anything I wasn’t completely sure about and he made sure I didn’t compromise on my wants/needs. John is the best!

John Hobbs is by far a fantastic experience! When we were looking for a chair we had several specific requirements. He wasn't overbearing and trying to sell us more or less than what we needed. He worked with us and helped get the financing secured. We will always keep him in mind for future purchases... actually scratch that! We will buy our furniture only from John now! Best furniture buying experience we have ever had!

John H. is the most amazing salesman I’ve ever been in contact with! He made me feel super comfortable with my purchases and he is hands down the most knowledgeable man when it comes to selling furniture. He makes sure you feel comfortable with your decisions before purchasing and he was all-around the BEST guy with the nicest manners and hilarious personality! To say I enjoyed my experience is an understatement, Mr. John Hobbs made it one I’ll never forget. I don’t usually enjoy shopping for anything, let alone furniture, but that may have changed after this experience. John approached me, was easy to talk with, and genuinely cared about my wants and needs. This process was smooth and as mentioned, quite enjoyable. I wish there was a John Hobbs at all retail stores, but unfortunately life can’t be that easy. I will definitely shop here again, assuming Mr. Hobbs will be helping me. A+ effort, personality, knowledge and looks.

The only person I’ve ever worked with is John Hobbs but that is because he is amazing at what he does. I had first spoken to him about my furniture needs when he worked at a different place, but I can get furniture anywhere. What I can’t get anywhere is the quality customer service that John provides. He is honest and upfront about product availability and has always kept me informed. He knows his stuff but most of all he takes the time to understand what his customers need so that he can help them make the best choices. If you are planning to shop at Jillians make sure you ask for John!

Had the wonderful opportunity of having John Hobbs as my sales manager. John took the time to establish a professional and friendly connection between him and I. Jillian's large selection of product and good inventory coupled with an excellent sales consultant was a pleasure to work with in my search for new living room furniture. I did internet research, visited 7 local stores and was quickly getting frustrated because I felt I would end up in a compromise in what I needed. Jillian's staff provided me with honest information and patient assistance to make the best selection for our needs. I highly recommend Jillian's for a fair and professional experience.
