Another success story for Thousand Trails. I say that to say this. Whispering Pines Mgt. and staff were already kind and helpful humans long before T.T. came around . Thank you so much Whispering Pines for a wonderful stay and I'm sure many more to come in the near future. Great place to stay or live the dream life as we do.

We were very happy with our stay at Whispering Pines. The transient sites were a little tight, but we had plenty of room to sit outside. Staff were very inviting and friendly. The pool was still open and very nice.

We absolutely love this little campground. It’s the only place we stay when camping near Atlantic beach. We love the pool. It has nice clean bath houses as well. It’s part of our Thousand Trail membership too which is awesome! I wanted to give a shout out to the nice lady who came on her day off to take care of the pool when we were there last week.

Nice little park in Broad Creek. This park has a combination of traditional manufactured homes, tiny homes, and campers. The park has been here for quite some time and have residents who have been around for a while. There are a few stray cats but these cats roam an area much larger than the park. The roads are mostly well maintained and they have a nice fenced dog park. If you crave quiet, this seems to be a great park.

It is a somewhat small and quiet campground which is very nice for quiet getaways. The pool is just big enough to have fun in. The pond is full of bluegills that love hotdogs. The bathrooms are individual stalls which is great for privacy and they are quite clean.
The pine trees scattered around make for nice shade; something that can be hard to find in RV campgrounds.
We stayed for 4 nights and were very happy with our stay.

Very nice RV campground! It has Power, Water, Sewage, and Cable TV! It's just a quick drive away from the nearest beach. And has a surprisingly good pool within the campground itself, no driving needed. The neighbors and staff we're incredibly nice and helpful. We did have a few hiccups getting the power setup and working correctly on our first night but thankfully our next door neighbors helped us out and got it working again! Overall I had a very enjoyable experience here. 5/5 Would visit again.

Thoroughly loved the time that we spent here! Had intended to stay for 4 days but it turned into a week and a 1/2. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The park itself is beautiful with a pond behind the office. Our dog loved the dog park and had a chance to run every day!! We had firewood delivered to our fire pit for $10. Will definitely be back again!!

We have stayed several months at whispering pines this year. I can’t say enough good things. The staff is friendly and available everyday which is so nice. We are on a long term rental with them. We wanted to try this instead of taking a big vacation for one week like we normally do. I’m so happy we did. Having our camper at the coast is such a treat. Instead of one week of vacation we can go for a year anytime. The pond is stocked full of fish, turtles and resident Mallards. I’ve enjoyed seeing them raise their ducklings. The campground has so many trees that it’s full of beautiful song birds. I love waking up and going outside with my coffee and listening to them singing. The grounds are well maintained. The grounds crew is also very friendly and accommodating. There aren’t too many golf carts like some other campgrounds. They have a beautiful dock and boat ramp on the sound. Its a block from rear of campground. It’s Devine at sunset so make sure you stop by at that time. The sound is also great for kayaking and paddle board. Bring your roller skates and bikes as the paved roads are perfect for exercising. In all we LOVE it and will likely make several years of it.

This park has definite potential. Transient spots are a little tight but overall a nice park. 50amp with water and sewer, nice access to OBX and other great outdoor activities. Also quiet the interesting no contact arrival process. Still don't know what the remote is for 😂

Great family oriented place. The office staff is so kind and informative. We called after the website glitched and wouldnt allow us to book our spot online, we called and they put us in a regular camping spot, but told us they would watch the rest of the day to see if the pull through opened up and sure enough they called us around lunch the next day, and we got our pull through we wanted. We love this place! The pull through stops are wonderful and have alot of space. The pool is super nice but does get a bit crowded around lunch. They have a fenced in dog park, kids play ground, clean bath houses, and laundry room. Over all it is a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it.

Nice campground with great staff, and great customer service. Sites could use some updates/upgrades. We had a 30amp outlet pedestal issue, and could not get in touch with the staff due to their phone having an issue. We did get hooked up using a 50amp to 30amp dogbone though. The next day, Brenda, the campground manager corrected the issue. Thanks Larry for the electric pedestal power repair for 30amp power, you are a great asset to the campground .

5 star because of the great staff they have here more so than most places I've been. This is an older campground with its share of mechanical problems , problems are AWAYS addressed immediatly . We were in the process of a road trip ,looking for where we wanted to resettle, coming from CT , when my husband retires from the military next month, and we really just landed here, do to problems with our truck breaking down. We went seasonal do to the high cost of weekly or monthly. I really don't think we could have landed in a better place. Brenda the current property Manger is always on top of everything. you couldn't meet a more caring , helpful person that goes out of her way, often after office hours, and well beyond what her duties as an employee require. Being I am currently here with my 12 year old daughter with my husband back up in CT . I was nervous about being left for a few months, until his retirement date, living in a camper in an unknown area. However with the attentive , caring staff and the over all welcoming , friendliness of the annual residents here, those feelings have been put to rest. In a very short time period my daughter and I now feel we are at home here , because of all the wonderful people we are surrounded by

Very nice campground. Most residents live here full time. Nice bathrooms although the showerheads are a bit odd. Has a dog park, children's park, a nice pool, etc. Highly recommend.

Always a great place!! Im a year round resident for a reason!! We only come 5-6 times a year and it would cost less to pay each time we come but I decided to place my $100K camper here fulltime....its a home away from home.

This and Bogue Pines are awesome. Nice quiet beach life with good amenities. The new units coming in have really changed the whole community for the better.
