Everything about the business that Brian is operating is great. My phone screen broke, so after calling multiple places around the Jacksonville area I found EC wireless and its very affordable pricing. Took the phone to him and he got it fixed in a few days, faster than most of the other businesses I called. Furthermore, Brian's shop's atmosphere is relaxing, and you can talk to him with ease and he can explain the issue with your device(s). He gave me some great life advice outside of just electronics as well. All in all, the prices are affordable, Mr. Hoy is friendly, social, and honest, and you can trust that your device(s) is/are in good hands.

Yesterday my daughter was having a crisis after dropping her phone at her grandma's house, so I started Googling & found EC Wireless. I called and he was very understanding. Today they took in the phone & it came out like brand-new saved me alot of money by replacing the screen rather than having to buy a new one. Thank you!

I woke up this morning and my phone was dead. Could not turn it on. After panicking and going to another store that said it would take 2 weeks to fix my phone, I finally found EC Wireless. The owner, Brian, is the coolest guy in Hubert with funny jokes and a world of knowledge about fixing computers, iPads and phones. He tinkered around with my phone and in less than 15 minutes, he fixed it! I am so grateful and happy to find Brian’s shop and will definitely highly recommend his services to everyone!!

I had a non cell phone issue. Specifically a pool robot cleaner that was having issues. The cleaner was $800 new, and the shop helped me decide on repair or replacement. In the end, I replaced the pool cleaner, but it was based on the electronic troubleshooting of my current robot. Really helpful and knowledgeable shop.

This business is 100% reliable, honest, and affordable. I'll be taking all my electronic device problems his way and tell everyone I know to go here to get their devices fixed. from start to finish I couldn't have had a better experience or service than I received from this repair store EC Wireless. They refuse to rip a customer off (me) and are honest with the answers to the questions you ask even if they know they are going to miss out on making money.

My story:

While I was at work a coworker knocked my phone out of my hand and completely busted the screen on my brand new phone which made me extremely upset for lack of a better word. This same coworker told me about this small little mom and pop repair store that is located out where we lived. I went to ec wireless on Friday July 29 2022 and explained what had happened and if he could help me. My phones flashlight would come if I shook it back and forth like it was turned on however the screen would stay black ( not light up or show a single thing. It was like I never turned it on). The man behind the counter, Brian ( the owner/operator) explained to me that the phone itself was fine (worked) but the screen was completely broken aka a lost cause. After he did some searching online he told me flat out that it would be cheaper for me to go back to my provider and get a new phone ( I had insurance on it) instead of just doing the work and charging me an arm and a leg for him to do it himself. He did mention that if I did get a new phone and it was the same make and model he could go in and swap the motherboard over so that my new phone would be just like my old phone and be as if nothing ever happened. So I went to my provider and got the exact same phone just like he said to do and took it to him so he could change the boards over. It only took this man about 30mins max to go thru and swap the boards over and to be sure it was like nothing had ever happened to my phone all the apps were there pictures everything. A lifesaver to say the least. On top of being honest with me he only charged me 60 bucks to swap the boards over.

The nutshell:

If you want fast and reliable service from a place that is honest with you about how you should go about fixing your phone/computer/tablet/whatever this is the place to go to. He could have easily told me "yes I can fix your phone no problem" and charge me a price that was more expensive than going to my provider but he didn't he gave me an honest answer knowing he just talked himself out of money. What he didn't know was that he just made a customer for life. being honest is a thing that is lacking in this area but this company nailed it. If you have an issue with you electronic device I strongly suggest you go by EC Wireless and see what they have to say.

My phone screen shattered and it had to be replaced. I took it to EC Wireless and had the owner, Brian take a look at it. He was so honest and provided amazing customer service. Not only did he make my phone look brand new, his prices are extremely reasonable. He is a family owned business and I will recommend his services to everyone I meet. We’re on vacation in Emerald Isle, and I shattered my IPhone screen. Found EC Wireless on Google Maps, gave him a call. He said he’d need to get a screen since I have an older phone (IPhone 6). We dropped the phone off, he had it ready early the next day, and was very reasonably priced (about half what Best Buy charges). He’s very personable, professional and polite.
I highly recommend this place.

The charging port on my wife's phone broke. EC Wireless was able to repair it without ordering new parts. His sodder job looked much better than the factory. The owner is personable and the atmosphere is positive. Oh, and the phone was ready the next day. This guy is one of those rare people who is good at his job and enjoys it. Now, my phone needs to have the camera module replaced. I am almost glad to take this guy a bit more business.

I was going out of town and my laptop froze up. I am not a computer geek so I went into panic mode. I contacted EC Wireless and described what had happened. I went to his shop and he looked at it for about 3 minutes and found my problem. It was operator error but as I said before I am not tech savvy and he could have easily told me anything and I would have believed him. His honesty was outstanding and he told me what I had done wrong. I was happy when he told me that there was no charge and my computer worked fine. He could have lied and charged me for something I didn't need but his honesty and integrity made me a potential customer for a long time. Honesty goes a long way with me and I would recommend him to anyone.

When I first brought my computer to his shop, he instantly knew what to do with fixing it. It took a bit of time getting it back, but rushing to get it back might have caused further issues, so I patiently waited for my computer to be done. He fixed the issues by cleaning out my fans (which I will go to him every 6 months for a quick clean), and had also helped the issues my laptop was having. Now it works with no noise from the fans. Thanks, Brian! A very professional individual and it definitely saved me tons of money instead of taking it somewhere else like the Geek Squad at Best Buy. He also helped me on the spot over the phone on how to show my SSD again on my computer. He's definitely helpful and doesn't mind me calling if I have any further questions about my computer.

Fantastic shop. The waiting area feels more like your neighborhood bar or library ... comfortable furniture, nice flooring, cozy atmosphere. Oh yeah, and the repair work is excellent. My repair was done quickly, but I was there for over 2 hrs enjoying the conversations. Most customers sat down to chat after discussing their issue with the owner. It was like spending Saturday afternoon at the local barber shop.

Friendly and Helpful! i have been doing business with EC wireless for quite some time now. I have never been disappointed with any service they have provided. His prices are very fair and I have never found anyone who can compare to his willingness to make the customer happy. He is about establishing relationships not just a onetime customer. His business is built largely upon word of mouth , friend telling friend. I dont hesitate to send my friends and family to EC WIRELESS for repairs or used "tech stuff".

I needed to get My iPad screen replaced. I was referred to EC Wireless by a friend who had used their services several times before. Even though the owner was on vacation when I called, he ordered the part and quickly got the iPad repaired when he returned. It was a pleasant experience at a very fair price. I would highly recommend EC Wireless for any type of electronics repair!

I went in to have a screen repair on a cell phone. Owner was courteous and welcoming. I received a quote and a date of completion, it was above my expectations, phone looked great and it was completed before time he had given me. I will go back and recommend.

Dropped off my very expensive laptop for a new screen. Was given an amazing quote so I didn't think twice. Dropped off on monday, was told it would be done as soon as the screen arrived which is very reasonable. I dont know what magic he worked, but I got a call less than 48 hours later saying it was ready. He was very personable, polite, and patient. My laptop is like brand new. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Thank you so much!!!

I spilled water on my laptop last week, so I took it to EC wireless to see if there was any way to save it. Sure enough, Brian had my laptop ready to go and good as new on Monday evening. $90 beats $400+ for a new laptop any day! Go here for great customer service and a very knowledgeable staff!!

Definitely a great man with great customer service! Can handle picky customers (like me) perfectly. He is great with solving problems and definitely helped me and is still helping me with my phone problems!! I would 100% recommended his services and amazing prices!!
