Big spacious sites with electric. Site 10, 11 and 12 seem particularly private for smaller RV’s. Bathrooms clean and host friendly. Booms and jets from nearby military base. Great tidal walk down road

Nice camping spot close to the beach that won't break the bank. Hot showers and heated bathrooms. Everything is clean and well kept.

Quietest and most peaceful campground we've ever stayed in. Host friendly and keep everything in good order. Caught fish in the sound and cooked them by the picnic table.

This was our first experience with Cedar Point Campground and we must say not disappointed. Sites were spaced out nicely. Clean bathrooms. Easy access to hiking and boat ramp area. Also, not far away from Swansboro, and beaches.

My husband and I stayed at Cedar Point for the first time and we had a wonderful long weekend here. We meet the very nice host Diana and she was very friendly and was very helpful with our questions since we told her we are brand new to the camping lifestyle.
We love the convenience of the park so we went to the Mullet Festival on Sunday and pier fishing in the evening, we enjoyed the campsite that we have already booked for the Thanksgiving weekend.
Come watch the sunsets and listen to the owls!!

Lovely USPS campground. Big rig friendly, paved sites, 50 amp elec at site, water & dump available. Nice clean RR & hot showers. Our site was 32. Very quiet during our off season 2 wk stay end of April. Several camp host on site. Great walking trail left of cg. Kayaking right there off boat ramp (just check tide times). Driving range 5 min from here. Easy access to Emerald Isle. There are several no pay parking areas further down the coast line to walk the beaches. If you drive all the way to Fort Macon SP (which is VERY nice), you'll find them. Walmart and Lowe's close by.
Saturday Farmer's Market on main road.
FOOD: We enjoyed Bogue House Restaurant for seafood. Casual dining for lunch or dinner. Big servings. Our fav was splitting the regular plate of flounder and shrimp w/ 2 sides for $24.99. Great sides but our choice was collards and fried okra. Ordered an addl dozen hushpuppies b/c they were so delicious!! Everything there is good.

The hosts are helpful and friendly. The sites are very spacious….wood fires are allowed too! We hiked the trails and love how beautiful they were! Boardwalks over the marshes and winding paths through the woods. Absolutely loved this experience!

Extremely nice and well maintained camp ground. Iv seen negative posts about the camp host but she was very respectful with me and my family. My car was half on the grass. She politely came and asked me to move and gave me options on where I could put it.” I thought maybe I should move it anyway.” All campgrounds have rules you have to follow.

Had an amazing time here! The host, Tony, was great, really helpful and informative and made sure to answer any and all questions. We were from out of state and he gave us recommendations on where to go and where to eat which was really helpful. The sites are beautiful and well spaced out. Lots of hiking to do in the forest and marsh, and the beach is only 10 minutes away by car. Will definitely return soon!

This is a very interesting park. Very nice paved and level sites with 50/30 amp hookup. However, there was no water at the sites. Potable water and dump stations are available. Beautiful park and close to the beaches.

Beautiful! I've never camped at a campground before and I did not expect to have access to electricity and showers. The bathrooms and showers are clean and warm. It's winter so it's quiet and empty at the campground, which I love. We hiked the trails and love how beautiful they were! Boardwalks over the marshes and winding paths through the woods. The host is friendly and accommodating! Absolutely loved this experience!

We didn't get to stay here because all the spots were full. They had a few first come first serve spots that were already taken when we got there around 1. So if you want a spot at this place, try and get there early.

Small, well-maintained, nice campground tucked in off N.C. 49, just north of Cape Carteret. Very convenient to Emerald Isle and the rest of Bogue Banks. The campground itself is low key. There's a bathhouse (kept clean and stocked), electric at each site and water along the road each 4th or 5th site for filling jugs. There's also a dump station, a potable water hose for filling tanks, and a dumpster. Each site has a picnic table and one of the best designed firepits I've ever encountered in a campground. The showers are in a separate part of the building from the toilets. The rooms with the toilets are heated but the shower rooms are not (but the water is hot). The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We were there in February, and there were probably only a dozen trailers and one or two tents, so only at about 25% capacity I would guess. The campground is part of a Forest Service area that also has a boat ramp and a short but enjoyable trail across marshes, etc. Bookable through recreation.gov.

Nice quite, cool, and peaceful campground... we stayed for one night and it was one of the best nights we had on our NC trip. The park mostly has RVs/campers, so it’s mostly quite, the host was polite and gave us the rules and regulations when we arrived. The showers were well maintained, and the restrooms didn’t seem out of the ordinary. I wouldn’t mind to stop here again when passing through.

The campsite was immaculate, and so well kept by the campground host. He was friendly, attentive, and vigilant. One of the best hosts I’ve met! The location was a good proximity to a variety of activities and close to necessities (gas, groceries, etc.) Went in late May and wasn’t too bothered by bugs, even when the wind died down.

This has been 1 of the nicest State park campgrounds I have been to. The grass is well kept the roads are all paved with large private sites . They have trails for walking and biking over or around the marsh .
