Been wanting to try this place after coworkers said how good it was. Took my wife for her birthday dinner, and we weren't disappointed at all. We ordered off menu instead of all you can eat. we will do that next time. Ordered coconut shrimp and calamari for appetizers. Both were awesome, except I don't care much for marinara sauce to dip calamari in. Our main courses were amazing, except I didn't expect my meal to come in an inflated bag. But, that said after the chuckle about personal floatation device we enjoyed it. Now what we didn't expect was a robot to deliver food. Highly recommend this place

The food is always good. But I only get a seafood boil. . . This time we just went out for drinks and decided to get an appetizer. . . The service isn't always the best. Takes forever for someone to check on you, even when there not busy. And the place is really dark. . . Most of the time the waitresses are super friendly but this last time we went we thought they where going to fight over who was serving the table. Had us a little nervous. But over all this is a good place to eat.

We drove a little over and hour to try Hook & Reel and it was definitely worth it. We did the all you can eat. The seafood was very fresh and cooked perfectly. We tried the seasoned garlic butter mild at first but was not spice, so the next platter I ordered spicy and it was perfect. It’s honestly hard to find good crawfish and this is the place hit the spot. Service is quick to take your order and the food comes right out. Highly recommend Hook & Reel if you’re craving seafood! The only thing I believe could use some tlc is the restrooms.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to this location. The food was great but the service was greater! I would like to put the spotlight on our server Aubrey. She was amazing, polite, knowledgeable and really made it an experience. The food, the service and the atmosphere 10/10.

We recently landed at Hook & Real Cajun as the result of a Google search while visiting friends in the nearby vicinity.
The building appeared to be well maintained and in full working order, free of noticable defects. A obvious sense of pride is on full display.
Even though the place was noticably busy, Aubrey made immediate instantaneous contact with our table and introduced herself as our server and took our drink orders. The interior of the building was warm and inviting, but it was Aubrey's interaction that really made us immediately feel welcomed and valued as guest. The ladies in the party commented on the restrooms being properly maintained and well stocked. Our beverages of choice pleasantly arrived as requested in short order.
Everyone elected to try the Cajun boil and it certainly didn't disappoint. There may be a reported crawfish shortage, but not at our table, our meals were loaded with crayfish and all the fixings.
We experienced hot, fresh and delicious food and impeccable service and were were extremely pleased with all aspects of our visit. Aubrey wasn't just doing her job delivering food to the table, her efforts should be commended. Aubrey demonstrated that she really cared about us and our entire dining experience, a trait seldom seen in the past pandemic world. Dining out isn't about stuffing your face, it's about the entire experience and through Aubrey's dedication and genuine sincere efforts, we truly felt warmly welcomed and valued as guest. Outside of bigger stomachs we never needed or wanted a thing.

This was my first time trying Hook and Reel and it was sooooooo good. Our waiter Collin was absolutely incredible, his attention to detail was just top tier. No need to commute to surrounding areas when this gem is right in Greenville. Plus they have all you can eat seafood….just wow!!!

Colin was our server he did a great job we had a large party with a one year old and a baby and was super patient with us. We were all very exhausted and unsure of what we wanted and he helped us through the all you can eat menu. We will definitely be requesting him for our future visits which there will be! This was our first visit to this establishment, we were very pleased with our visit today. It was not very busy and we had no wait to be seated for a table. Our server Jaida was EXCELLENT, she was very accommodating and made excellent recommendations since it was our first visit. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the prices were very reasonable for the portions that are served. We ordered a Cajun Boil w/Crawfish, Black Mussels and Heads off Shrimp (corn and potatoes) and a Combo Boil of Heads off Shrimp and Scallops (corn and potatoes) with the addition of noodles to this dish with a small upcharge. The food was served in a timely manner and was hot, fresh and delicious, I found the addition of noodles to my dish a wonderful treat to utilize all the yummy extra sauce that the food was prepared with. We both chose the Hook & Reel Signature Seasoning Medium Spicy, the flavors incorporated were amazing! All the food was cooked to perfection, not soggy, rubbery or bland. The manager stopped at our table to check on us which we found incredibly impressive and Jaida never let our beverages run dry and provided extra napkins and condiments as we needed them. I have attached pictures of our meals, the restaurant is very dimly lit, so I have pictures with and without flash so you can get a true appreciation for the flavors and textures of this meal. This is a true "hands on" eating experience, they graciously provide gloves and a snazzy bib to catch a the extra bits from getting your top messy. They have a hand sink located at the rear of the establishment to wash up after your meal as well. We had a wonderful experience and we will be returning in the future!

We just dined here for the first time tonight - we had the waitress Tye. She made the experience that much more amazing. We did the all you can eat and she walked us through how that worked. You can go 8 rounds people, that's crazy! She was kind, friendly and honest! Again, it was such a great experience! Thank you Tye!

We got to the restaurant early for dinner. We sat at the bar which is nice. I had the Cajun boil combo. Crawfish, black mussels, and shrimp. It comes with an ear of corn and some red skin potatoes. Everything tasted great. Spicy to me was flavorful but not much heat, maybe a light medium, so if you are looking for heat, I'd go with the hot. Be was good and cold.

Enjoyed the service and food. We had the All You can Eat deal. Jada was a great server and the Playlist was 🔥.

Our server was Collin and we had a large party with a 1 year old. Collin did an amazing job serving us, keeping up on our drinks and our platters he was very kind and made conversation!!!!

Autumn was my server tonight and everything was so amazing. She’s so sweet and pretty! Beautiful smile. If you do get her as a server you will be more than happy ! Someone give this girl a raise

They offer an all you can eat special for $39.99 for the seafood boils in a bag. You can select different sides and appetizers. The food was hot, well seasoned, and delicious. I walked out very full and satisfied. With a sweet tea, taxes, and a tip, I spent $56 and got shrimp, clams, 5 clusters of crab legs, sausage, potatoes, corn, eggs, and fried calamari. Amazing deal.

Amazing food, and our server Collin did a great job making sure we had an amazing experience and were satisfied with our dinner.

Our server was lovely young lady named Aubrey who bent over backwards to make it a wonderful dinner with cocktails. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to drink so she asked me what flavor profiles I liked and then whipped up a wonderful cocktail. I have no idea what was in it, but I’ll be back to have another with her soon.

Went last week All you can eat is a really good deal they got going on over here crab and shrimp for $39.99 can’t beat it plus servers are always smiling and helpful I will come back

The food was very good. Atmosphere was great with music playing in the back ground. It wasn't crowded when I went which was great.

This was a fun place to eat. I loved everything about it. I'm a New Englander, Massachusetts. This place had the closest tasting seafood I've had to there. Staff were fun.My drinks were good. Nice and clean atmosphere. I cant wait to go again!
