This place was excellent!
The fried mushrooms- wow!
The brisket- exquisite! We bought an extra order to take home with us (it was extremely good when reheated on the stove top)
My wife got the burger which was juicy, thick and delicious!
We also got I think the buffalo fries- which were unique and excellent!
This is a great, small town restaurant. I love the vibe and decorations and highly recommend you give it a try!

Took a while to get our food because it was made fresh. The burgers were delicious and worth the wait

What a super find while traveling through this charming town! Sat at the bar. They don't have spirits but have good wine and beer selection. Bartenders are friendly and fun. This place was packed during lunch and I quickly found out why. Food was amazing! Juicy burger and delicious pulled pork sandwich. Enjoyable conversation with others at the bar passing through town. Just an all around great experience - one of those unplanned nice surprises while traveling. Definitely stop in. You won't be disappointed!

We enjoyed fried pickles (very good) with ranch dressing. Then split a #11 thick burger (6oz) with seasoned french fries and we added a side salad.

Desk attendant recommended Stackhouse for dinner. Definitely no disappointment! I really enjoyed a pulled-pork sandwich with red cabbage, pineapple slices, and a habanero salsa. Sweet potato fries and some unsweetened iced tea. The salsa is made in house and really flavorful. Recommend this restaurant and will return again. Can't go wrong here.

So we stopped in on our way home to Unicoi, and were blown away! The food was incredible and the portions outstanding. We’ll be making the trip to Mars Hill from Unicoi just to get our Stackhouse fix from now on!

Still great, we were here a few years back for our anniversary and know we had to stop in again sconce we were in the area. It has grown in the years, and while the food might visually be a little different all the flavor was still there. Once again we were too full to try their dessert. The staff were very helpful and friendly even though they were very busy (full house of guest today). The Dry Ridge is my favorite! With all this growth their menu had so much to offer, even a kids section. Everything was more than reasonably priced for the amount you get. This place is a must stop.

Really good food at a really good price. I found this place by accident, but I'm glad I did, and I will definitely be back. They have great pulled pork sandwiches.

We had lunch yesterday and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the amazing service, wonderful ambiance and excellent food; we were truly graced with Southern hospitality! Our server was so lovely too! Thank you; you had 8 happy bikers!!

It was delicious. We had great burgers and mac n cheese. We also got a trail boss landfill and it was amazing.

We stopped for lunch on a road trip, small place, great customer service. The batter fried mushrooms and onion rings were so good! They have a good vegetarian burger and great blue cheese dressing too.

Great atmosphere, even better food , flavor was amazing and looked amazing as well. I was told by the gentleman at the next table that the beer on tap is some of the best, we don't drink beer but thought I would mention

We were looking for something quick and those place looked like it would fit the bill. I had the Dry Ridge and it was amazing. Fried chicken, bacon, goat cheese, caramelized apples, and honey mustard don't seem like they go together all that well, but it was delicious. My husband enjoyed the Exit 11 and said it was great as well.

Tasted good, just a bit slow service with servers running around frantically.
The friend chicken batter and technique is spot on. Try it!

This place is absolutely amazing. Not a lot of seating but the live music and the food was absolutely one of the most amazing travel places I have been to in years, since I was down in Austin Texas. The servers were knowledgeable and so friendly.

Food is the star and the staff are so friendly! Check my pics, I try something different each time. Everything has been flavorful and yummmmy

Had the burger sliders with a side of Mac and cheese. It was delicious! Great service and excellent food! Will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in the mountains.
