I have been taking my son for almost a year to Carolina Therapy Connection on a weekly basis for speech. We absolutely love our SLP, Alyssa Stanley. She works so well with my son and he is always excited to go see her. He has improved dramatically and we have had consistent goals to work towards. The front desk is always friendly and efficient as well. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love the therapists and staff that have worked with my son over the past year and a half. Specifically Lindsey, SLP and Lacey, OT. Lindsay has gone and above and beyond to make his Autism diagnosis easier to navigate with helpful resources even outside of her clinic setting. Lacey has helped in our daily functions in tremendous ways. The basics of sitting in a chair or opening and closing a bottle. Really has helped so much with his fine motor skills and attention. We love Carolina therapy and are so thankful for your clinic!

CTC is one of the most efficient offices I’ve ever been to. The check in and check out processes are so easy. The staff are nice and seem to really love their jobs. My family has had the pleasure of working with Taylor and Dedre, and they are both awesome at what they do!

My daughter has grown so much through occupational therapy with Ms. Jessica. I hate to think where we would be without her. She loves Ms. Jessica so much that she dressed up as her for career day.

My daughter Kaylee, looked forward to her meetings with Megan every week. The two of them connected. Megan had a way of getting through to her that was just amazing. I remember a time when Kaylee asked “how do I fail so I don’t have to leave Ms. Megan?” Truly, everyone at CTC that we worked with from other counselors to the receptionists were great. They all made you feel like you were a part of a family.

My son John Luke started PT here about 4 months ago with Taylor, and I can’t say enough good things! When we started he could barely hold his head up and now we are so close to crawling and sitting! She is very attentive and caring to his needs, always listens to my concerns, and gives me plenty of advice and exercises to work on with him at home!

My son has made such tremendous progress in his confidence with speaking since starting at CTC. Mrs. Ashley is the best Speech Therapist there is.
My son has been in speech for 4 years now, 2 other facilities before we found CTC and Mrs. Ashley. I wouldn't go 💜anywhere else.

I would have gave one star if I’m being completely honest, but I don’t think it’s fair to judge the whole process, since we never made it the first appointment.

From my personal experience on Halloween 2023 my son had his first speech therapy Intake appointment I thought it was at 10:30am and apparently it was at 10:00 am so I received a phone call at 10:10 am as I was driving to arrive early at my appt and they said if I got there before 10:15 they would see him. So I arrived in the parking lot at 10:13 & in the door at 10:15am. The therapist refused to see him because there “ wasn’t enough time for an intake appt “ which was fine, but they could of just said that on the phone instead of having me come there and be turned away. So not only were we turned away that day, but they told us someone would reach out that week to reschedule, and that never happened. So I’ve been calling leaving messages for two months and I finally got in touch with Victoria today who told me since he “ missed “ his first appt he had to go to the bottom of the wait list and wait all over again for an appt, so he’s been on the wait list AGAIN since Oct 31st 2023, and we haven’t received a call or update in anyway.

There has to be a better way of communicating and a better process to get these children the help that they need without it being a six month to a year process all together.

Parents are always going to worry about their children and want to know step by step of what the plan is to get him seen.

Even if the waitlist is a year that’s fine but communicate that, or tell me that when I was there in person. Then I wouldn’t be upset that I haven’t received an appt. I wouldn’t be expecting a phone call to “ re schedule” if I was going on the bottom of a wait list .

Sadly I’m sure there are plenty of kids out there waiting to be seen that just get over looked and passed by unfortunately. These kids are the future, so I just hope that someday it becomes a little easier to get the kids seen without having the therapist overwhelmed.

But all and all the girls have been really polite & nice I just wish there was more options, more clinics, more places. Having kids wait months that need help now just seems awful to me.

My son has been going here since 2019! He still enjoys going, and has made great leaps with his therapists here! It is hard to trust your child with anyone, but we have been blessed with some amazing therapists here. They are all very professional, knowledgeable, and wonderful with children. Ms. Jenna, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Joann are fantastic. (Ms. Lauren is no longer here, but she was his very first therapist, and she was also amazing!) These ladies make him feel loved. Where a child feels love and accepted, they will grow. And he has grown so much with their help, and we love them all ❤

We love our therapist. We see Hailee for OT, Lindsey for speech and Blair for PT! They have all been excellent with my kid, and great at communicating.
