Mary Rawls was always very kind to me. I had an issue in an older house i was renting from her where the bottom glass half of a door collapsed leaving my home exposed to the outdoors. This was in winter so I was worried about my heating, critters coming in and the half irrational fear of a burglary. I was stressed even more so since this happened on a Sunday after 5. I figured nothing was going to be done. I called Mary to report it and to my surprise she answered. Apparently the number that was given to me was a cellphone and she explained to me she was at a child's birthday party but assured me the problem would be fixed. About 30 mins later a repair man was at my house fixing the door. I was very relieved that even though she was on her own personal time, she still answered that call and took time out of her day to make sure I got the help I needed. Many people may comment on her attitude, but I think she is just a straight forward no nonsense professional business woman! She might not be the over bubbly type but she is someone I trust to do the right thing, and quickly!

Mary has been the best realty company by far, in all my rental years. Very nice couple and so helpful & quick whenever repairs were needed. I appreciate all that they have done for my girls & I.

Ms. Mary Rawls is a pleasure to rent from. She has always been Johnny on the spot. My heat went out and she had someone to my house with in an hour in the evening working on it. My A.C. went out she had given me portable AC units until mine was fixed. Ms. Rawls has a huge kind heart especially when I became very ill and was hospitalized for awhile. Ms. Mary has been a true blessing and God sent to me. Thank you!!!

I have rented through their realty company now for over two years and had yet to have a problem. If the heat and air don’t work, they fix it immediately. I’ve never had a problem with them nor their repair people.

Mary helped my mom sell our house in River Reach and made it a smooth and wonderful experience. Thank you Mary!

They know what to do and helped​ us every step of the way on buying our first home. It's a slow process but they have kept us in the loop with everything.

Very pleasant , Mary was so nice and easy to work with

I was quickly shown the property I wanted to check out but felt uneasy with the staff.

I rented from Mary for a year and it was a horrific experience. The house was in disarray when I moved in(some outlets didn’t work, funny smell, no sink stoppers, knicks in the wall, ripped kitchen floor, not working washer and dryer, door on laundry closet not attached, back door wouldn’t and still doesn’t lock)we even moved in while they were repairing the AC because she hadn’t taken care of it. Her handyman could not follow a schedule and even showed at 830pm to look at something that needed fixing. A few repairs it took the majority of my lease to fix, my kitchen linoleum was ripped before I moved and it took MONTHS to get it repaired. She would wait till I was at work and then call and tell me her handyman had to get in that day regardless of whether I would be there or not. She does not respond to email and is very unprofessional on the telephone, in fact she told 4 times(through email, so I can keep record of all the things she says and does not follow through with) she had mailed my security deposit before she finally did! Would not ever recommend and feel bad for people who have to deal with renting from her like I did. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, so happy to be gone!

I had sent an email requesting a viewing of a house that I had seen on Trulia. There was a response within a few hours stating that the property had already been rented and asked if there was anything she could do to further assist me.
I sent an email back saying yes, I would love some help. I get another email back within another few hours with the exact same response that the listing was already rented and asking if there was she could do to help me.
I tried once more and again, I got the same response. Finally I sent her an email stating that I can't believe she has an email if she doesn't even read it.

Quickly after that email was sent I received a call from Mary admitting that she usually only reads 3 lines into her emails. I was absolutely baffled. She promised me she would help me with listings that would match my search after I had to verbally tell her my information that she received three times via email.

So, now two weeks after that phone call, and I have not heard a thing from her since. Not really sure how she is a realtor at all.

Extremely rude and unprofessional!

During our application, as my husband was explaining his business structure, Mary Rawls actually Shushed him in mid sentence! Later that evening we discussed it and sent her a polite email thanking her for her time and informing her we were withdrawing our application as we felt uncomfortable with the way the process was conducted.

Late the following day we receive a call from Mary to discuss the application. We explained we had already sent her an email the day before stating we were withdrawing. She said, "oh, I haven't gotten around to looking at my emails yet". As my husband tried to convey why we withdrew, she talked over him again!

If you are looking for a cranky, off-putting, 90 year old realtor with an unprofessional manner- visit Mary in her trailer office- this is the one for you!

First off if it was only the leasing agent I was reviewing they would get a 5 she was super nice but Mary was rude and very nosey also a bit unproggressive. I was approved to move in a semi okay location now here’s the problem she asked for an application deposit of 800 dollars that turns into your security deposit, watch the wording because she can keep this if you change your mind. Now I left the deposit with her (800) and she says she will call before the end of business to let me know if the owner excepted my terms, she never called I had to call her then she says yes your accepted but she didn’t have time to fill out the lease until next week sometime. Very odd so I went to her office the next day because come on that’s 800 bucks she’s holding, I was told by someone else it won’t take no time to do the lease because it’s on the computer but when she arrives she wanted me to sign her extra rules that’s not part of the lease but yet again tells me I can’t see numbers for the lease, after stating I don’t trust her she again tries to manipulate the situation by saying well if you can’t trust me maybe you shouldn’t rent from me, will mary I sure the heck won’t because trust is earned and not given. I did get the deposit back but I will not refer her to anyone. Before letting her run your credit ask to see her extra sit of ridiculous rules. I have never had someone tell me they didn’t have time for me to look at the lease but took my deposit very odd!!
