Fuquay Varina Pediatrics

I wanted to share my personal positive experience at Fuquay pediatrics. For the last 21 years I have been going to this practice and unfortunately, I recently had my last appointment here and I am so sad to go. I cannot recommend Dr. Dupuy, Dr. Durand and Dr. Shoffner enough, you can see their passion and expertise for medicine, and they are who inspired me to pursue a medical career as well. I never felt rushed at this clinic and was always welcomed with my many questions. The doctors truly take time to sit down and get to know you and I just hope to find a practice that also cares that much. Unfortunately, people are more inclined to leave negative reviews about staff, policy problems and wait times, but what you are truly going there for is the medical care and you will not find any better.
I would highly recommend having your child established here :)

Both of my children have been taken care of by Fuquay Varina Pediatrics since the day they were born. They are now 15 and 17. I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about them and I’d recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been going to FV PEDS for 28 years now. Lynn is the very best! She is fun, super easy to talk to, my kids love her and I trust her opinion 100%! Dr. Dupuy is also amazing if you’re looking for a male provider!

Dr. Dupuy is amazing. Very caring and compassionate. Takes his time and listens. He's also a pharmacist and that has proven very helpful over the years. We've been going since 2009 and he sees all three of my children. He's not too quick to worry, but addresses concerns when necessary. Top Notch.

I love this office. They're the best ever, they saw me as a kid and now they get to see my baby. Dr. Durand is awesome. I miss Dr Powell too. You have to call first thing in the morning for a sick visit, well visits can be seen as soon as that week. They also speak Spanish. Their Saturday clinic in Cary takes forever though.

My daughter has been a patient here since she was 2 and she is now 12. Dr. Dupuy got her through years of horrible asthma, pneumonia, and nebulizer treatments. She still remembers him and how great he is and how he always made her feel better. Now she is a patient of Dr. Durand and she has been a great doctor and advocate for Aubrey's growth and struggles. We love this team!!!

Been very happy with the care here for my 2 littles for almost a year. Being in medical field myself for 12 years I am very critical. Each visit is thorough and not rushed. I never feel judged. Questions always answered.

We had our first baby in October 2017. This office was the first I called to set up our very first appointment after leaving the hospital. I immediately felt at ease speaking with the front desk staff at this office. After meeting Dr. Villarreal, I was convinced we had found the best fit for us and our son. He is very caring, thorough, and he takes the time to answer all of our questions, no matter how silly they may have seemed to him. What impressed us the most was that he actually held and our son and played with him while he examined him. He made our visit very personal and took as much time as we needed being new parents. He also took the time to make sure I was doing okay post-natal and was very comforting about my concerns as a new mother. I highly recommend this office and Dr. V. Unfortunately, the Fuquay office is not his home office (he is usually in the Cary office), but he is there a few days per month.

After nine years with JMA in Clayton, this practice is a BREATH OF FRESH AIR. Dr. Dupuy sat with us FOR AN HOUR on our first visit, answering every question under the sun, and explaining even further what concerns we should be aware of and how to react. The office returns calls within an hour, and though they say two hours, I've not waited longer than 30 minutes for a call back. After years of feeling like an inconvenience at JMA, it is SO nice to feel CARED FOR as patients, and as human beings. Funny thing is, I'd transferred my son's records years ago once when JMA had upset me, and I wish I'd just followed through then. Dr. Dupuy is amazing, as I've heard for every doctor in the practice! I'm looking forward to seeing him with my son, instead of seeing a different doctor every single time as at the previously mentioned practice.

Love this practice. I have to say I also am frustrated with the new credit card policy that most offices implement. This is a manager decision. It is also a patient choice. I do not want to be billed on my credit card for an error from the business office. I have worked in medical my entire life, mostly the billing side and trust me we are all human and mistakes happen all the time. I do love the practice and the nursing staff and physicians have been amazing. That is after all what we go for. We have seen almost all of them and we hopefully will continue to be members for years to come.

My daughter has been coming here since she was born (she is now 6) using Dr. Dupree, and I am so sad to say we are leaving. We've lived in North Raleigh now for almost 3 years and have made the drive each time she has needed to be seen by the doctor, I love the practice and her doctor. Dr. Dupree is professional, reliable, great with her, & has always answered any of my crazy first time mommy questions & has shown his utmost respect for my parenting. The staff is professional and personal which to me is very important. I have never ONCE felt like just another patient at Fuquay Peds, and I will say I am going to miss this practice.

Dr. Dupuy is the reason for my 5 star review. My children have seen him since they were born/a few months old. I wouldn't recommend another pediatrician to anyone and recommend him any chance I get! He has listened to every concern or question we've ever had and will always do his best to find a solution. He doesn't make parents feel like he knows more than they do just because he is the doctor, he educates us and takes every question or concern seriously. It means a lot to have a pediatrician that listens to every concern and happily at that.

My children have been patients there since 1997. The doctors and staff have always been very caring. On the rare occasion that we had an emergency or sick child, they worked us in and took excellent care of my babies. My youngest is about ready to age out of pediatric care. We’ll miss Fuquay Peds!

They are so patient and knowledgeable and really take their time with the kids/parents. I recommend them to all my friends!

Fantastic first visit. Fast, friendly staff and Dr Dupuy actually spent time in our room explaining everything and didn’t make us feel like he was rushing to get to the next room. He also put my little guy at ease and made him laugh on multiple occasions. I’m so glad we made the switch to Fuquay Pediatrics!

Great place. The front staff is always very kind and helpful, even when they are crazy busy and the phone is ringing off the hook. Every doctor we've seen has been amazing. Dr. Dupuy is the one we see most often and he is the best you can hope for. He's very nice, professional, and caring. Great with the kids and parent. Would recommend Fuquay Pediatrics to anyone.

I go to dr Dupuy with all 3 of my kids. He is caring and thorough, he takes his times and asks questions and is very open about when I need to worry or not. He goes above and beyond for his patients and I couldn't imagine a better Dr for the 3 most important people in my life.

The best pediatric practice I have had the pleasure of taking my kids to, hands down. Dr. Dupuy is a wonderful doctor. Anytime I have a concern they get me right in. I can't say enough good things about this office.

Fuquay Pediatrics is wonderful! I have been taking my children there for years and truly feel like they are seeing the most professional, caring providers in the area. Dr. Gary Dupuy cares deeply for his patients and their families and goes above the standard of care. I am grateful to have him in the area and recommend Drs Dupuy, Shoffner, and Durand-Smith to anyone needing pediatric care.

Dr Dupuy has been my sons Doctor from the time he was 1 day old. He is super kind and gives my son the care and attention I would expect from a pediatrician.
