Wife wanted coffee. Was almost 6pm and he was still open. Jay was there! Great small-town feel. We both got the Chai. #awesome. He also has icecream. Looked yummy. Big Pfeifer fan. Nice little gem. Worth the stop.

Coffee Central is probably the best coffee/ice cream shop within 100 miles! It’s cheap, quick, and delicious. I get his spiced chai at least three times a week, it’s that good. Totally recommend.

First time here 1/6/24. Great service. The gentleman was super nice, and funny. Chai was very good, marshmallow latte with extra sugar was amazing.

We've been twice now- and we plan on making it a point to go every time we are in the Richfield area! We aren't in this area often, so it's a special stop whenever we come by. The owner (Jay, I believe) is always so kind and polite, and his homemade chai recipe is absolutely spot on! His coffees are also wonderful- and the large variety of flavors he offers allows you to try something new every time. He is easy to talk to and makes you feel like a long-time friend. You must try!

Jay's Spiced Chai is Amazing! I was spoiled by a friend who made me homemade chai & I haven't had decent chai since moving.... until Jay's! Service was friendly & the kids enjoyed the ice cream too! ... The chai was so good I bought some to have at home.

I am an over-the-road flatbed trucker and I like to visit locally owned restaurants when I get the opportunity. I was delivering to the Wood Perfect down the street and took the chance to walk the 15-20 minutes to this little shop, and let me tell you it was absolutely worth it. This place just might be my favorite mom & pop shop of all time.

Best cappuccino! Best service! Check this place out! Ice cream too! Get there before 4! (Moms, If you are driving to the Asheboro zoo and go the 49 route from cabco area... stop here). Easy in and out of the parking lot! It will be worth it!

Mr. Jay has the absolute best homemade chai I have ever had! I am addicted to his Chai Tea Latte with honey 🤤🤤 He is always so friendly. It makes my whole day better to go through and get coffee at Coffee Central! 😊

You definitely need to stop and meet Jay the next time you are near Richfield, NC. The atmosphere at the shop is so welcoming, and the coffee will certainly get your day started on the right foot. The Chai is delicious and unlike anything you will find anywhere else, because Jay makes the blend himself. I personally recommend the Large Vanilla Chai...you won't be disappointed.

What could be more charming than a great small town coffee shop in a historic bank building? The best coffee between Raleigh and Charlotte! And the best chai I have had anywhere. Enjoy the basics up to the gourmet coffee selections freshly ground and brewed. Jay is a delightful host/owner/barista and friend. He provides quality drinks, service, and conversations. If you need coffee or ice cream give this place a try in Richfield. Close to HWY 49 & 52 and Pfeiffer University with rooms suitable for a small group meeting. People like Jay make a difference as we form networks of support that keeps our faith and community strong. It also makes a small town welcoming to any and all who pass through.
