I have been taking different types of yoga classes for many years but Samantha’s classes are different from the rest. I am
re-motivated in a new way with her 6 week series set up. I love that she will test a number of reps of an exercise at week 1,3 and 6 in a non-competitive environment. The 6 week schedule keeps me accountable and I look forward to each class building from the last one each week. It’s exciting to anticipate the improvement with before and after comparison.

She continues to offer classes on zoom and provides recordings, where as, other yoga studios have stopped in the last year or so. I find it to be a disadvantage to all. I am one who feels more comfortable practicing at home, in real time or recorded without having to travel to a crowded space.

I also dread weights and find comfort with classes like yin,restorative and gentle flow but as my body ages I know that resistance training is so important. Sam’s Yoga Strong has allowed me to re-embrace weights in a new way while not leaving my yoga mat and my home.

Lastly, her teaching style is warm, friendly, easy going and approachable and at the same time her classes are challenging. And it all comes through even with zoom as she will provide feedback and encouragement to all online participants! It’s wonderful to find a teacher who resonates with you. I am
happy to have found Sam’s series from 2 hours away for the studio. It’s been beneficial for my body’s aging aches and mind’s mental health. Thank you Yoga Strong!

A friend gave me a gift certificate to the Yoga Massage six week session. I’m new to yoga and don’t usually enjoy group exercise classes but Samantha’s class was a wonderful surprise. She is a warm and knowledgeable instructor and I really enjoyed how each session was structured. I found the atmosphere in her studio space relaxing, peaceful and supportive. I had such a positive experience that I want to continue, so I signed up for a beginner yoga series. As I age I can see so many mind and body benefits from yoga and hope to learn and practice more in the future.

I am currently midway through the 6-week Beginner Yoga series at Yoga Strong, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience.

The course is tailored perfectly for beginners, striking the right balance between challenge and relaxation. The instructor has been outstanding in providing clear guidance and ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported.

Samantha is, in my opinion, the very best yoga guide in Greenville. She understands what you need and what your body needs and takes care of it all in her yogi magical way. She melds massage, yoga, and strength training together to perfection, and it'll do your body good to see her!

I have really enjoyed my classes at Yoga Strong. The studio is a great space and a welcoming environment. Samantha is an amazing instructor and meets you where you are level wise. If you are interested in beginning yoga, the beginner series is a great place to start!

I have taken a few yoga classes through the years at gyms, online and such and this is the first time I felt comfortable and confident in what I was doing. Samantha and Julia make everyone feel welcome and they both genuinely offer suggestions and support to make our experience better. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about yoga to try this out.

Yogi Strong Studio is such a great place. Warm and inviting atmosphere, everything you need for a great yoga experience. If you want beginners, advanced, yoga with weights (my favorite) flow and massage etc. there is something for everyone. Samantha is a superb teacher, always offering different options for the best experience for each person. I highly recommend trying one of the offered classes and instructors.

I am new(ish) to the Greenville area and Samantha was recommended to me by a faculty friend. As she was just opening up her studio in August 2023, I was lucky to get in on the BOGO 6-Week series. I have completed the Yoga Strong series and am currently in the Yoga Massage series. Both have been so amazing and nothing like any yoga I have tried before!

As someone who has been regularly strength training for several years (9+), I instantly fell in love with the Yoga Strong class. I had never experienced yoga combined with weights and I absolutely loved it. The workouts are intense, yet totally approachable for any level regardless if you are a beginner or long-time lifter.

The Yoga Massage series is also something I had never experienced in a yoga studio before. While I have practiced restorative yoga - and love it - using the extra tools and stretching techniques Samantha provides has taken my stress relief to a whole other level. I tend to store all my tension in my neck and shoulders and this class helps me regularly tend to those areas and learn more about where I need to pay attention to my body.

Above all, Samantha is an amazing and experienced instructor. She is so personable, relaxed, yet attentive to her clients needs. The studio space is lovely and you feel welcomed and relaxed the moment you walk through the threshold. I have met so many amazing people through Yoga Strong and love the community that Sam has helped build and cultivate here in Greenville.

I absolutely love Samantha's Yoga Strong class. I feel challenged each week, but not in an intimidating way, and I want to go back to this class every week. I actually think that I would like to go every day, but time does not permit. I love the way we build up to the strength exercises, how we use yoga poses throughout, the way we come down from the most powerful exercises into amazing, thoughtful, intentional stretches. This class is the only fitness class I've ever been in where I haven't looked at the clock to see how much longer I have to endure it. If you like yoga and strength training, you absolutely must try this class.

I am new to yoga and the staff at Yoga Strong have been amazing in their guidance, support and patience while I learn. Thus far the benefits have been mindfulness, less daily aches and pains and building new relationships. You are never to old to try something new! The challenge is worth the reward!

The trick to staying young is keeping up strength AND flexibility. Samantha's Yoga Strong series accomplishes both at once! This is my first in-studio class in a few years, and I can already tell a difference in my arms and back. I recommend this particular class to beginners, intermediate and advanced students - Sam makes it clear we set our own goals and progress at our own pace - and she includes an advanced and beginner modification with each exercise set. I always come away from class ready for my week. This class has something for everyone - thanks!

Samantha’s yoga strong classes that combine more traditional yoga with strength training using weights are like a one, two punch! I feel like I am working to accomplish several goals at once: balance, flexibility and strength and mindfulness. Also Samantha stresses personal improvement not competition with other classmates. I think we all feel comfortable and validated working at our own pace .

My experience with the yoga massage class was so nice! First we used massage balls on our neck, shoulder and back areas while incorporating stretches. That was followed by a yoga posture series and then final relaxation. It is a lovely serene setting, our instructor, Sam, was easy to follow and very attentive to each student.

I love how Samantha combines weight training, yoga and mindfulness. The weights never feel heavy or like they are too much, so it doesn't feel like weight training at all. It's yoga, but I definitely feel the results of using the weights the morning after as if I had been lifting weights at the gym the day before. Yoga Strong is such a great name and concept. Happy to have found this unique balance. Also, love the convenience of participating over zoom or viewing a recording of the session at a later time if unable to make it to class.

The peaceful and beautiful studio feels extremely private and tranquil. Samantha’s kind, loving spirit coupled with her knowledge of Yoga made the Beginner series an incredible experience for me! Truly a safe place for anyone at any level with any issues!!

Life Changing. That’s what practicing with Samantha has done for me. She is well educated in how movements impact the body & how to tweak those movements for the best results. She challenges you, encourages, praises and teaches along the way. Adding weight to movements has raised the bar & you won’t find a more challenging combination. The classes offered have something for everyone and Sam is always mixing things up with new offerings. Yoga is NOT what you think it is—I encourage everyone to try her classes because she is the absolute best at what she does.

Yoga strong class it is a perfect one for my needs. The combination of lift weights to strengthen the limbs and the body core it is the best. I did leave the session feeling great. Sam you have master the class with these combinations. Your teaching approach it is superb! Keep up the great work!👏👏

I really love Samantha’s energy. I saw her for a private 1:1 yoga class and it was great. Even on zoom she saw me and what I was doing and gave me great feedback along the way. She both encouraged and challenged me - within a super nice class that made me sweaty even though it felt gentle too! Amazing! Go see Samantha if you want to have someone in your corner cheering you on and giving you just the right amount of challenge!

I have loved doing the yoga strong class with Sam, even from afar. She offers in person and virtual options. I am stronger and feel better. My favorite part is having the playlist sent to me so I can listen along from home and hear all of the instruction clearly.

I am 4 weeks in to a 6 week Yoga Strong series and I'm feeling stronger already in daily movements like picking up my toddler.

I love Sam's direction and encouragement in the classes and appreciate the beautiful space more each time I end a workout there.
