Fuquay-Varina Community Library

This new library is awesome! The large windows allow so much light in. My children really enjoy attending story time and doing fun kid crafts here. They love checking out books, outside bubble time, sidewalk chalk activities, story walk, and making new friends as well. The librarians are just amazing! They are so helpful, kind, patient & knowledgeable. They also allow the children to display their artwork in the office window.

Beautiful new modern building & such an improvement over the old library. Good selection of books. They were very good during pandemic letting us pick-up our books at the front door & still offer this service. Library seems well organized & tries to make services convenient

Great resource, best staff, clean facilities, and excellent family activities. The teen volunteer program is a great experience. This library is gift to the community.

Love this library, clean, convenient and up to date. The ladies at the desk are friendly inviting and polite. The noise level is usually good sometimes can be an excessive amount of loud 6 year olds on Saturday but definitely bearable. Love it!!

We really enjoy this library. The staff is always friendly and story time is the absolute best! My girls truly love it here. Thanks for providing a quiet and safe space for the Fuquay community.

Beautiful new facility with lot of artistic creations, lots of natural light thro' the windows helping us feel energetic, great programs for kids of all ages to participate, great selection of books

A quiet enough space to read and work if you stay on the adult areas, but definitely a place loud children come at times. The building is very new, clean, and improved over the old building. The library system has also done significant work to make sure new books are widely available, so selection is always interesting. You can access any book in the Wake county library system if you're willing to wait for delivery from storage or another library, so variety and availability is high.

Downsides (in my opinion) are that the adult sections are sorted by author, not genre, so browsing can be difficult if you are, say, browsing for "mystery" or "sci-fi".

This library is small, but pretty amazing. They have so many programs for the kids! There are story times for all age groups. There are craft, events, and family story time as well.

I could see how it could be noisy for someone trying to study, and to those, I would suggest checking out the online calendar and going in when no activities are taking place.

The staff is friendly and very kind. If they don't have a book they will gladly help you order it form another library and have it shipped here.

It may be tiny but remember, you can request books from he entire Wake County Public Library System. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have toddler story time most Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 to 12:15.

I really like this library... I appreciate the help offered inside and the fact if they don't have your book you can put your name on a waiting list and when available they notify you and can pick up.

Clean well organized and a great staff! It's been a blessing to be able to go get books in this time when we are all stuck in our houses.

Clean. Mask required (all state buildings). Friendly people. Nice selection of books. I'd suggest going there. Fun things to get people to read more too.

They have a great kid area for storytime with lots of room.
