Mayflower Seafood Restaurant Greenville

We went out for lunch and had a wonderful time. The staff were all so helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and for the price, well worth it. Will definitely be back in the future.

I have not been in years, but I was actually really surprised by how wonderful the waiter was. He was super busy, but never let the drinks get low. Lots of food on the plate, and love to watch the fish in the tanks. Only things I had to complain about was the music, it was so loud. I couldn't hear the people at my own table. And maybe change the oil for frying a little more often. Otherwise, a great experience.

We are new to Greenville North Carolina. we just moved here last November. this was our first visit to the Mayflower seafood restaurant. I grew up on good seafood in South Carolina. This is a definite oldie but goodie restaurant. The seafood is fresh, with a calabash style. The service was awesome. for this quality of food I was surprised at such the reasonable prices. even with the restaurant having a full bar liquor license. The bar didn’t seem to be in operation. There was a Very nice family feel. The restaurant even had 60s and 70s music playing, and not very loud so you could still be able to hear each other talk at your table. i’m hoping to Mayflower seafood restaurant Will be in business for many years to come. We will certainly be frequent customers.

Great southern seafood and good prices. The whole staff was friendly and attentive. Lexi, our waitress, took great care of us. Baby fried shrimp, fried chicken tenders and yummy hush puppies All good for you every now and again!

I loved this place, service was top-notch, food was amazing. Had the catfish it was divine. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and my partner ordered the Small Shrimp plate and portions were huge. We both brought home leftovers. I will definitely be returning.

First got our drinks and ordered a salad. Didn't get the salads until the food come out at the same time. Didn't like that, should have gotten the salad way before the main course. Ordered the broiled Mayflour Special.
It had way to much butter on the plate of food. It had so much the food could have slid clean off the plate. The jumbo shrimp were not jumbos at all, med size at best. Over all I think I won't be ordering that plate ever again. Maybe fried would have been better.

I had the 'Today's Special' of grilled trout Chris steamed broccoli, along with fried pickle chips with appetizer. Everything goes great, along with the service, which she was very helpful.

Mayflower is the best casul food place to eat seafood in town. The prices can’t be beat and the wait staff are the friendliest in town. Daily lunch specials are great and ready quickly. If you don’t like seafood they also have other entrees like spaghetti plates or a buffalo chicken sandwiches (my favorite)

Oysters were small pieces. And the collards were bland. No seasoning.Mostly breading. Not like they use to be. Service was good.

The dining room was not crowded so we were able to have ample space from other customers. The server was polite and friendly. The food arrived hot and plentiful. The meal was cooked exactly as ordered. Beverages were refilled promptly. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend this restaurant for the food and service.

I recently became a pescatarian, and this place is a very good spot to eat some fish and shrimp, and they're not stingy with the food. I had plenty to eat and share with family. Good customer service. Hmm this post is making me hungry 😋
