Marvin Efird Park

What a great park! We went to play disc golf and were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful lake, great trails, and a community garden. The disc golf course was fun, but small. Perfect for beginners like me, especially since there was no one else playing.

Great park with amazing nature. It was not crowded at all. There are nature trails 👣 so get your steps in, public restrooms, playground, shelter, picnic tables, venue area. Loved it

I really didn't experience the park. I went to a wedding which was set up in a small field beside the barn. It was simple and very pretty. There were some who appeared to be coming to the park for recreation, but I suggest going to the website to see what is available.

Very creative wooden playground that is so different than any other one I have ever seen truly. It makes you feel like your actually in the woods while the kids play.
Bathrooms are within 20 feet of the playground. Walking trails, picnic tables, disc golf course! Definitely going back!

Very nice little park, with playground structure, and a lot of open space. Went here to play the nine hole disc golf course with my kids. They really enjoyed it. Great beginner course that is pretty wide open and is a great place to learn the game.

This is a beautiful little park with rental space for events, beautiful gardens, grounds, and a fun disc golf course. Short distance, but still plenty of woody challenges.

Great park. The trails are nice and circle around the entire park. They are well paved and have lots of shade, making it great for families. They even occasionally host events at the park during the year where you can meet local police, fire, and medical departments. There is also a disc golf course with 9 holes.

Such a beautiful park. The walking path is very pleasant and quiet.

Lovely park with a fun playground, ample shady trees, picnic tables, and even air conditioned restrooms. We took a homeschool break to play with friends here, and it was delightful. The barn was open for us to step in and cool down a bit as the temperature rose into the afternoon. There are hiking trails, a community garden, and a lake as well. But we were worn out after 3 hours of play, so we will have to experience the rest next time.

Great Medium-Sized Park. Perfect for a quick walk with the dogs or the kids. Plenty of parking at various lots. Nice and quiet to walk around the lake or bring the kids.

This park has a walking trail that is almost a mile long. It a gem of a walk with gravel trail. The walk is senenic with a lake, trees, and small play area with sitting. The park is not that old and has come alone way in terms of appearance, walking trail, restrooms and play area for small children. It has truly become a hidden gem.

Love walking here. Beautiful trails thatvare well kept. The bamboo grove is a nice surprise. Lots of birds here too. Usually not too crowded. Need a permit to enter unless you are a citizen of Marvin, but it's easy to get by mail and inexpensive.

Came here to watch our great grandchild at soccer practice. Very nice grounds. Group of adults participating in tai chi. Serene property hidden in the middle of Union county.

Beautiful little park tucked away in the village of Marvin! I love the open areas and trails as well as the view of the lovely lake in the back. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!
