Wow. This place was above and beyond any expectations that I had coming in. We were a big group coming here in the morning, but they accommodated us very well. The servers were flexible and were a great help for some of us who had never been before. The food was just amazing! It was super delicious and the variety that they offer is perfect for everyone. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast if you are in the area.

Great customer service. We got a meal plus dessert and everything was good. We also got 2 latte drinks each. Coffee had great flavor. Only thing was that nothing was spicy but everything still had a lot of flavor. Quick service. It was definitely a highlight of our cross country road trip. Nick was one of the best servers we have ever had.
I recommend getting the horchata latte.

Good things come to those who and we waited in the cold for delicious foods for sure. The creme brulee latte was very fun and tasty. I love a textural contrast. Cuban omelet was flavorful especially with the fried plantains. My friend had the French toast, but she didn't think it had much flavor. Dining area is a little livelier than I would like, but that's because they were packed! I love seeing a local joint thrive.

Exceptional food. I was very annoyed that I tried eating here on multiple occasions with no luck bc the wait is just that long on Saturday mornings. I must admit- it was worth the continued attempts. Pro tip: plan this ahead of time, wake up early on Saturday, and set a timer to make your reservation through yelp.
Amazing flavors that I had not been exposed to prior to eating here. Guatemalan style restaurant with a lot of Latin influence and the staff will help you choose a dish suited for you if you ask. Extremely filling portions, lots of eggs, potatoes and plantains on the menu. Another pro tip: ask for the spicy hot sauce as it’s the excellent touch to finish many of the flavors that are incorporated into the dishes.

Relaxing. Food was amazing! Staff was fantastic! A busy place, but we never felt rushed. My Bourbon Blackberry pancakes were awesome and a work of art! I recommend those!! They are served with fresh mango and strawberries!

I loved this place and the food was fantastic too I got lucky to get a place at the breakfast bar and went back the next morning for breakfast and had to be there at 7 AM or you don’t get a table the staff were fantastic friendly and kept checking on all tables to see if need anything the manager Gabby was so nice and she even suggested what I should try I am going to fly my family to OKC just so they can experience like I did

Yummy go to brunch spot in OKC. They’ve won a ton of awards here. So much that you can’t show up and eat. It’s really important you get on the wait list through Yelp before you go. I got on the wait list am hour and half before I got there and still had to wait 20 min when I arrived. They stay busy. The parking lot is also small so you might have to street park. The food is delicious. I especially liked the berry pancake and steak breakfast. The servings are large enough for a solid brunch and you won’t be hungry for a few hours.

Went here for a birthday breakfast date. I absolutely loved the nutella latte and the nutella pancakes! We also ordered the ranchero burrito and the cubano burrito. Both were very good. I definitely recommend going on a weekday morning/afternoon. Parking is a bit scarce. There wasn't a wait at all. The staff was very kind and did a great job. Very good food.

Excellent service and amazing food! The menu focuses on traditional Guatemalan dishes (breakfast & lunch served), coffees, and cocktails. Can get very busy so you may want to try squeezing in a visit at an "off" time (we had breakfast on a weekday about 1030 am: were seated immediately but within 30 minutes or so there was a line waiting outside). Portions are generous, the food is delicious, and service outstanding.

A very popular brunch spot (expect long waits if you don't get on the waitlist or there early) and for good reason. The food is flavorful and plentiful. Service is great and they have spectacular coffee. I was a sucker for the orange chocolate latte!

I would walk ten miles barefoot through a forest of alligators to reach this restaurant because the food is delicious. I was so in awe that I couldn’t say a word throughout this entire meal. There is a part of me that wonders if I am actually in heaven right now. Also, the pink walls are pretty!!!

We were recommended this cafe by our family friends in town. This is a must go to for breakfast in Oklahoma City. You will not be disappointed. The service was excellent. The food was outstanding. The prices were moderate. The ambiance was very good.

The food was amazing. I can see why it's such a hot spot! The latte I ordered was amazing as well. A little pricey (but worth it), but perfect for a once in a while spot. Even though I would eat here every day if I could!

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots in OKC. Everything on the menu is phenomenal. The coffee also can’t be beat. I really like the Nutella latte. Anytime we have guests from out of town, we bring them to Kacao and they are always blown away. Try it. You won’t regret it.

The place is really good. The desayuno chapín was amazing and it was so big. The tostada reminds me of que I was a kid in Guatemala Saturday nights. I have no complaints about this place, I do wish it was a little bigger to allow for a more date night experience.

Great food and coffee. The server provided great recommendations. There's usually a wait, but it's worth it.

I finally made it here! Been trying to go because of the hype reviews and was kind of intrigued about this apparently long wait just to get in! They opened at 07:30 today and knew I wasn't going to be there until about 08:00. I tried to join the wait list online but it said "currently no wait". I arrived shortly before 08:00 and although there was no line outside, the place inside was already almost packed. It was crazy!
I was solo so I just took a seat at the bar, close to the baristas so it was actually cool to be able to watch the staff behind the counter do their thing. The overall atmosphere of the place was cozy.
I ordered the Tikal dish (basically their steak & eggs version). I actually enjoyed it! The flank steak was well seasoned; I especially liked the spicy green sauce they served the meal with. Everything on the plate was tasty, except I didn't care much for the scrambled eggs-- pretty dry and bland to my liking. I'll probably order it with eggs over medium, if there's a next time. The staff and the server were very nice, not overly overbearing but not snobbish like it said from a past review I saw on here. Then again, it's a different experience for everyone. I'll have to try other things on the menu to really gauge if this place is worth the hype. If the wait for a table is reasonable, then yes, I won't mind coming back but a 2-hour wait like what others have done? I'm not sure! This is when joining the online waiting list definitely comes in handy!

Amazing brunch experience. Latin food that is delicious. The only negative on this place is it’s hard to get into because everyone wants to eat here.

Went during weekday for lunch. I had heard many positive reviews, but never want to go because of long waits. I finally went to see all the hype. It was excellent. The food and ingredients all tasted freshly made. The flavors were unique combining sweet plantains, garlic sauces, spicy salsas. The portions were ample size and left enough for a second meal. The service was really good. It can feel a little crowded or packed in, but that doesn't bother me. Recommend using the no wait app.

Dang, I love this cafe. What stuck out the most to me was the staff—they were actually happy to be there as they were lively and all smiles. It made the restaurant feel elevated because the cohesion and camaraderie accentuated the experience for both the staff and customers. Shoutouts to Edwin.

As for the food, I have nothing else to add that thousands of others haven't already said. I'm completely satisfied.
