Elkin Municipal Park

Very nice community park. Nice walking trail. Well kept. Nice views.

Some of the things I saw on a walk on a cold November morning. Believe it or not there are still miles of trail that I didn’t get too. The Elkin municipal park is a great place to spend time

So this little town of Elkin, NC, who would have imagined such a park would be hidden here? Well imagine tennis courts and a recreation center, then surround it with plenty of natural beauty and pet friendly walking, jogging and bicycle trails that go for miles in all directions. It could be better, it could be next to the lazy Yadkin River and it is. Restrooms, benches, trash cans and bridges, plenty of shade and only a few know... 5 stars hands down! ❤

This was a really nice trail area to walk, and I love the little spots where you walk into to escape rain.

It'd be nice to have a hand-sanitizer spot at the bathroom.

Absolutely gorgeous park 😍 love how clean and beautiful it is. The best park in town to me honestly. I love the trails, and the recreation center. Walking trails, playground, swimming, gym, tennis and basketball court 😍😍😍 I just love it.

It's fun to walk around here because there are many things to see and a bunch of nature and history on signs and just a good view and good time

Visited for the first time today and it was amazing! Took a walk along the E&A railroad trail and then stopped at the park finished with a nice dip in the pool! My kids loved it! Very beautiful!

This is a great park to visit when in Elkin NC! It has lots of nice play equipment for the kiddos. Also they have a big play area and nice walking trails for yourselves as well as your four legged friends! We had a great time with our son and German Shepherd pup! Nice picnic area shelters as well!

Love walking here. Definitely my favorite walking trail in the area. When I don't have much time I'll go to the spillway and back, but the whole trail is nice. Easy and beautiful.

Crossing under the road out into the more wooded area gives you a gorgeous place to walk. There is even a restroom out there!

A wonderful place to walk, jog, run. Not crowded. The creek is lovely. Very enjoyable and clean.

What a beautiful park! The walking/bike/hiking path is well kept and offers some amazing views of water and foliage. People we encountered were so friendly. We will be back again to walk further and enjoy other aspects of the park.

It has disabled parking and it was clean we had lunch on a table there and it has restrooms. Also a nice playground.

We had so much fun stopping here in a trip to Wilks.

We went to the wine festival...great idea to hang out all day. Wine sampling from 15 to 20 winery's represented. Great music with The Embers and Motown Review.

Park is awesome. Community pool. Sits along a river. Festivals in summer. Live music at times.
